Morning,
littleredpear your day out with dh sounds lovely, proper quality time & Chanel shoes the icing on the cake.
kitty great buys, belt is fab.
One oh no for the pneumonia and your cat, thinking of you, sounds very hard.
Fedup is this your last one to fly the nest? Btw I am planning to wear my chunky heels with pretty much everything, jeans, skirts and dresses. Think they will work with most of my wardrobe.
Am not going to bore on too much about job stuff but it helps to write it down here so bear with me. Basically it is a very good opportunity as you say Blingy. It shows that they were very happy with my work during the placement and will look good on my cv that they wanted me to stay on in a paid role. Also, in answer to the questions kitty raised it is a good stepping stone to the general area I want to be involved in. Also, while not senior it isn't entry level either, I'll have to do quite a bit of PA type stuff but will also get exposure to clients and the commercial side which is what I want. It will be difficult, the people are hard work but overall think am definitely going to take it if offered. If I can manage it for a couple of years will put me on another level and will have many more options.
Anyway, back to fashion
Amber I can see you in the bright pink Gucci loafers. Can't link as on a train and don't trust the connection.
Am not going to rush into any more shopping, being frugal as I said yesterday but have identified a few wardrobe gaps to be filled in due course:
- knee high boots in tan
- straight leg jeans - will try the ts ones everyone is talking about
- denim midi skirt
- midi dresses
Have had second thoughts about Gucci bee trainers. Was in a café next to a group of high school kids last week and they were horrid - entitled, rude, ignorant and bad attitude. They were also all wearing Gucci and Valentino trainers and I can't break the association, no bad thing for the bank balance!
