Well, summer barely happened so we're ready to pack away the shorts and the kaftans and get excited about boots, cosy knits and anything new and shiny.
We're often scared to link what we're lusting after for fear of lurkers buying it before we have the chance. So if you're a lurker, come and join us.

I had a pair of silver satin trousers i wore in the late 90s. i loved those silly things and my mum insisted i used to get checked out by loads of men when i was wearing them but i cant say thats definitely true as i truly never noticed! I used to wear them with a short sleeve, ribbed, v neck 'knit' i looked the business haha

Love all the before the trends

Yesterday we had really good news - we exchanged!

It got a bit hairy in the last week with the chain, which was a bit tense so so happy and relieved.

We move within the week, really fast. I'm going to be a real pain now and say can I see how it goes with everything today, we've had to book some people in to do stuff today. I might not be able to make it to the MU. But such a good crowd and really wanted to Lib so will try

Marsha that's great news! Glad everything worked out.Smile To answer your fashion forward question....ha! Ha! I am fairly certain I have never been ahead of the curve although there is stuff from the 60s that my mum gave me which occasionally I have worn before they came back in againGrin

Having said that, I have been rebellious this week...
There is the old adage of "no white after Labor" day and I have been wearing a white denim jacket in the evenings. Yeah, I am no AmberGrin

Those going to the mu today, hope you have an ace time. So sad I couldn't make it lib would have been lovely to see you before you leave but I hope we will still have mu's when you visit that's what I keep telling myself anyway

Mara hope you enjoy Goodwood. I took the dc for eye tests earlier and popped into my local hm where they had the dress you bought. I tried it on and really liked. Think I am going to break out of my style comfort zone and get it. The shoulder frills are good for me too. it would look nice with my IM suede boots

I still have my leather blazer from the 90's, dark brown from zara. I was hoping it would come back in fashion soon

Just saw the hm dress is sold out online! My local hm had every size apart from 8 maybe I should just pop back and get the 10. It was loose on the waist but could have it taken in maybe.

Had a lovely MU and also in denial about Lib leaving!
Here is my mini round up:
Lib was looking lovely in her figure hugging Boden dress.
Amber was looking sharp and stylish in Gucci t, leather mini and check blazer.
Blair was looking elegant in her gucci belt, shirt and silk scarf.
Sleep* was looking very rock chick in her Anna top and silver high tops.
Everyone was looking pretty in a lovely coloured floaty top.

Justa you should branch out into dresses! They would suit you, especially that H&M style.

Have a lovely mu. I am beyond mad - all my new clothes are missing. Hermes claim to have delivered 4 parcels to a safe location. Yet nothing is there Angry I now have to fill out claim forms and spend my day on Twitter.
