Thoughts?

I know a lot of people think hush is overpriced tat, but this thread is for those of us that still buy the odd thing.

I've had a brief look & like the look of the Christie coat & Cassie dress. Last year I got a dress in the same style of this years clover dress, which I love.

However, the prints this year are awful.

Felix dress arrived - it's a good fit, good colour and nice and soft but really not special enough imo to justify the price. I think I would wear it a lot and if it wasn't dry clean only I could possibly just about justify it.

I wore my khaki Harem’s today for the first time this year, I forgot I had them.

The star biker sweat came from JL & is too big. I need a medium, but both hush & JL have sold out in the green. Im considering the grey, but most of my sweatshirts are grey.

I ordered the rest direct from hush and am waiting for that to be delivered. I really hope I love the Christie coat in olive, it just wasn’t me in the navy.

Pippin8 - if you check the Hush site around 8.30 - 9am you may find some returns on the Star sweatshirt as that seems to be when they update their stock levels. I got a Medium in the green this morning - half an hour later it was out of stock again.

I tried on the black and white Dahlia dress in JL today and loved it. Had to size down to a 6 as it's quite roomy but it's really gorgeous and will look fab with tights and anything. Really easy to dress up or down.

I emailed them about an out of stock item and they told me 9.30 was a good time to check. I'd say you'll get a return Pippin8.

I love the burgundy c'est Bon sweat but I'm waiting for a code. I really like the Florence skirt but I got one in Zara that might do the job instead, I'll only be able to wear it at weekends. Must have a look at the Dahlia dress trumptown.

I nabbed a Gardenia dress in 12 at 8.45 this morning...it was the one I had meant to order when I actually ordered the Tansy :) Gardenia now showing OOS so I am so glad I got it when I did.

I also got the linen jumper in light turquoise in the sale...this was the one I got a refund for due to holes. It is the same size as I had (M) which is probably going to be too big for me as I am a size smaller than I was in Spring. I will decide when I get it whether to keep or return.

I would be surprised if they had an issue with refunding the grey tops. Mine was from the first batch and is absolutely perfect even after 2/3 washes so there is definitely an issue with the later batches.

I love the print of the gardenia dress but the sleeves look really long and that puts me off. I have the clover dress. It is so much nicer on than it is on the model. It is a darker burgundy and much less garish looking. The weight of it is beautiful as is the style. It is a gorgeous dress.

It is really striking like this. If you are busty though you may need to size up. I am a 12 and a 32E and the 12 was ok. The 14 would have been too big. It was every so slightly restrictive in the bust but not so it would have annoyed me.

Pippin how did you style your harems? Mine have just arrived so I'll see what they look like in daylight tomorrow.

neveradullmoment99 thanks for that I'm considering the Clover instead of the Felix as I think the length will be better for me so good to hear that about the colour as that was what I wasn't as sure of.

My Christie coat finally arrived and I love it, really pleased

Bloom, I wore my harem’s with a black vest, black cardigan & leopard print flats.

I also wear them with a black or white v neck tee & a long pendant.

I must say, I bought v necks tee’s from matalan for approx £5. They are near identical to the hush £27 ones and have lasted longer & no holes have appeared.

Does anyone have the lightening bolt reversible jumper or the ziggy jumper?

Christie coat in olive. I prefer the colour, but it is so creased, I’m just not sure.
Thoughts?
Anyone willing to post a pic to compare?

Also, Amie joggers are going back as they’re very thin & cheap looking.

The dahlia dress is lovely (you can just see it in first pic) but it doesn’t look like it will wash & iron well.

Changed my mind re The Felix dress, it is a beautiful colour nearly plum rather than burgundy so have decided as we're going away between Christmas and New Year to a rather lovely hotel I'll keep it for daytime there. I'm torturing myself that I've spent £110 on an unlined essentially basic dress!!

The coat looks really nice on you Pippin Its a much nicer colour in real life. I think you should keep it if you like it. I think the fit is spot on for you. As for the dress. I have it and it washes fine. It needs to be ironed though so that it goes back in to shape.

..otherwise it feels as if it has shrunk. Often the case with viscose.

Never is it still hanging in your wardrobe? I really like it as it's different to anything about at the moment, stars seem to be everywhere. Can't believe I just checked the Sabrina cardigan and they have an xs grey marl in stock, so yes I've ordered it although I really wanted the charcoal I'm going to be bankrupt at this rate.
Pippin the coat looks great but I fear I already have too many items that fit the lifestyle I aspire to rather than is practical.

It is Nearly but i almost had it on today cause it was very chilly. I do love it though. I agree. It is different from anything out there and stars are everywhere. What really sold it to me is the pic with the model wearing it and the ruched skirt tights and boots. Going to wear that combo when it is chillier.

Also was so tempted by the boots that came back in stock but i really cannot afford them so didnt buy them. I am still hankering after them.

Its a significant birthday for me though so may purchase yet if they come back in stock when its the right time.

I think the Christy coat looks lovely, Pippin. It does look quite fitted at the shoulder seams, rather than slouchy, part way down the upper arm, IYSWIM? Or it could be because of the position you're in to take the photo, causing the seam to ride up? I'd be a bit worried about the coat's ability to take on creases though. Do they look like they'll fall out, say, if left in a steamy room? Does the material feel lovely and soft and luxe-ey? It looks like it does.

You didn't like the Amies?!? They have changed my life!

I received the blue Cassie dress today. The Small was massive and tent like. Plus finishes at quite an unflattering place on my legs.

The dark forest two tone jumper was nice but £69 is utterly ridiculous for an H&M quality jumper.

Still no wide jersey top!

The green star biker sweatshirt finally arrived today and it's lovely; xs is a perfect fit and it looks great with jeans. I also ordered the blue and gold night sky pyjama bottoms and I love them. They're really soft and the colour and print are fab. That is it now though, I'm ordering nothing else until they have a sale on!
