A big fat 0 from me I'm afraid.

Stargirl82 · 14/08/2017 15:25

I second tall girls and long tall sally

woollyminded · 14/08/2017 15:26

wowser keeping the nice tap-tapping elf in mind and not the image of a demented woman stalking the countryside looking for a cow

woollyminded · 14/08/2017 15:29

Oops wowse, forgot to add the Grin - don't want to fall out on a shirt e thread of all things!

woollyminded · 14/08/2017 15:29

SHOE! I give up

Eusebius · 14/08/2017 15:30

If OP is a man, and over 60 then I'd say they're just fine. If both conditions don't apply then 😯 0.

WowserBowser · 14/08/2017 15:34

Woolly don't worry! I'm not going to track you down and use your hide like in Silence of the lambs Wink

Eusebius · 14/08/2017 15:38

Sorry OP, comments above was referring to the first pair. The second pair are very nice. 😊

Timefortea99 · 14/08/2017 15:40

They would be okay for walking to and from work in winter but other than that they are not very stylish.

IDoDaChaCha · 14/08/2017 15:42

Agree with Bombardier boots with skinny jeans or leggings. The boots are nice, just swamped by the jeans. The shoes need to be returned they're too old for you.

LilaoftheGreenwood · 14/08/2017 15:46

I really want those orinoco ones in grey to wear with little dresses, tights and knits in the winter.

I think it's about balancing outfits - if you need bootleg jeans then definitely aim for smarter, daintier shoes. I try and make everything else in how I dress smart and dainty and low cut so I can get away with wearing big comfy shoes.

FannyFifer · 14/08/2017 18:10

I have terrible probs with my feet, I've given up on style mostly, if they are comfy then I don't care.
I would keep the shoes, footwear is for a purpose, if anyone judges you on shoes then they need to get a life as it really disnae matter.

LadyFlumpalot · 14/08/2017 18:21

Try Ted and Muffy. There are two pages of shoes in a 9. Obviously you may not like any of them, but worth a look?

HareTodayDragonTomorrow · 14/08/2017 18:36

LadyFlumpalot thanks, but they're saying that's a 42 which would be too small. Possibly. A 9 is usually a 43.

I'm a bit like that Fanny after a bit, it's just too much hassle!

Skinny jeans Shock I'm a size larger on the bottom than on top, won't they look ridiculous?

IDoDaChaCha · 14/08/2017 18:51

HareToday I'm the same. I wear longer tops that cover my bum & thighs when wearing skinny jeans.

ArcheryAnnie · 14/08/2017 19:03

I know I am fighting against the tide, but I'd wear them.

HareTodayDragonTomorrow · 14/08/2017 19:21

IDo where do you find long tops that fit at the top but expand enough to cover bum & thighs?

LoniceraJaponica · 14/08/2017 19:41

"Black shoes with blue (bootcut?) jeans?"

I always wear black boots with jeans. I don't own any brown or tan footwear as it just doesn't suit me.

IDoDaChaCha · 14/08/2017 19:47

HareToday I wear A-line type tops, ones that are wider at the bottom, looser. Even size up as a slouchy top looks good with skinny jeans and boots Smile

HareTodayDragonTomorrow · 15/08/2017 09:36

Like this Lila? (Apologies for the grey leggings, my black ones are packed away with my winter clothes!)

Now we're talking! You have fabulous legs! I don't LOVE the shoes but they are much better than pair 1 and look cool with those tights. My 20 year old very stylish niece would wear that combo.

EvelynWardrobe · 15/08/2017 09:47

These ankle boots? They also do them in black.

EvelynWardrobe · 15/08/2017 09:49

lovely but £££

EvelynWardrobe · 15/08/2017 09:50

Not convinced by the quality of Clarks boots TBH, both me and friend had to return pairs that had fallen to bits.
