OP, just also wanted to say I feel your pain! It's incredibly frustrating having big feet. But there are more options than ever and Mumsnet is a great hive of recommendations.

HareTodayDragonTomorrow · 10/08/2017 15:42

I tried some on Lila but they're way out of my price league!!

Those Camper peus in brown up thread are usually available in black. They are so comfy! And about a million billion times more attractive.

orzal · 10/08/2017 15:49

I love my ECCO shoes. They are so comfortable and last for ages.

sparklybuttired · 10/08/2017 15:52

000 !

burnishedsilver · 10/08/2017 15:57

It depends. Are you an older man?

Greenglassteacup · 10/08/2017 16:58

Dr martens?

HareTodayDragonTomorrow · 10/08/2017 17:15

I would love a pair Greenglass but they just don't suit my feet. Or my feet don't suit them. I went to the official Dr Martens shop last week and the assistant admitted defeat, that my feet are just the wrong shape for their shoes!

Greenglassteacup · 10/08/2017 17:52

Sadhave you tried hush puppies?

Greenglassteacup · 10/08/2017 17:54

They do these

Have you tried Evans?

NashvilleQueen · 11/08/2017 08:01

Grin at nun. That's exactly what they are.

OP you'll find something better im sure.

Therealslimshady1 · 11/08/2017 08:11

I think they are fine if needs must, it's for work, and you can wear them in wet weather happily

I have a few pairs of "ugly" shoes which I wear only in bad weather (ie often)

HareTodayDragonTomorrow · 14/08/2017 13:33

Are these better?

lol at Prison Officer shoes! [sorry]

LizzieMacQueen · 14/08/2017 13:37

NO

Have a look at Doc Martens.

ARagTree · 14/08/2017 13:40

Camper go up to size 43

leccybill · 14/08/2017 13:45

Black shoes with blue (bootcut?) jeans?

We playing bingo here?

HareTodayDragonTomorrow · 14/08/2017 13:49

Blush What's wrong with blue jeans and black shoes? Clearly I am not the most fashionable person on the planet, but I couldn't be arsed to get changed just to take a photo. And I only ever wear bootcut trousers to try to minimise the ridiculous size of my feet Sad

Ive tried all the Doc Martens I can get my hands on Lizzie and they just don't fit me.

Bluntness100 · 14/08/2017 13:51

To be honest I thought they were prison warden or some form of uniform shoe designed for practical reasons rather than aesthetics.

They are possibly some of the worst posted on here. Glad you're returning.

Bluntness100 · 14/08/2017 13:53

The second pair are also awful. You tend towards shoes that will make your feet look bigger it seems. Big old clumpy full on shoes.

Roundandroundtheapartment · 14/08/2017 14:05

The second shoes you posted are nice - are they boots? They look like they'd be nice with tights and a dress (not sure how casual you can go in your office)
If you're looking for smart though I would go with brogues like others have suggested
