Fugly and my god they look bargain bin cheap. Try Clarks? Most of their athleisure/casual stuff is nice.

HareTodayDragonTomorrow · 10/08/2017 15:03

That was to Crisp! I trawled the shoes hope last week and found nothing. No one even stocks a 43 women's shoe any more. I found some lovely in Germany, but it's a bit too risky to have to pay postage to send it back if it doesn't fit and I don't know the brand.

Oh I see sorry, x-post.

There must be something here you like.

Not going to be free returns but I think that might be the bit of your criteria you have to relax!

Doobigetta · 10/08/2017 15:06

They look like prison uniform.

museumum · 10/08/2017 15:08

Horrendous!!!

Have you tried DMs, campers (men's prob), kickers...

museumum · 10/08/2017 15:09

Is an 8 big enough? www.clarks.co.uk/c/Glove-Echo/p/26128550

Ooh another thought (although apologies if you've had this suggestion all you life and it makes you run screaming) - my DP lives in Kurt Geiger chelsea boots which are really elegant, he's fairly short, also a size 9, they look slender and pointy on his feet rather than boatlike even though he's mostly in skinny jeans. I think they'd totally work on women. He has two pairs of these.

HareTodayDragonTomorrow · 10/08/2017 15:17

I've always had huge issues with men's shoes cutting into the back of my tendon so steer clear of them. Plus men's ones are too broad for me.

Lila I just can't afford to. I'm abroad so have to pay tax on anything I order to get it and then if I have to return anything I have postage on top. That's £30-40 gone and I might have no shoe at the end. I can't risk it.

Long tall Sally shoes go up to 45.5

Yewtown · 10/08/2017 15:24

Hi Op do any of these work www.clarksoutlet.co.uk/c/all-womens-styles?q=%3Arelevance%3Asize%3A9&text=#

LilaoftheGreenwood · 10/08/2017 15:30

I prefer the Clarks Funny Dream ones to the ones at the top of the thread - especially if you can get the grey or aubergine colours, they're quite funky.

BlackThumb · 10/08/2017 15:30

Uggs do size 9 and 10, and have some very nice options, both in Ugg style and things that you would never think are from there. Also generally super comfy and well made.

orzal · 10/08/2017 15:30

Are they Ecco shoes. ?

BlackThumb · 10/08/2017 15:31

And also 0!!! Do not keep those shoes.

HareTodayDragonTomorrow · 10/08/2017 15:32

Do Think do free returns where you are by any chance? They're an Austrian or German brand I think, they're really unusual and well made. This is their UK site: www.think-shoes-online.co.uk
