Jo Malone giveaway - anyone know why?!

Got a free 100ml bottle of Basil & Neroli and a free home candle today with two purchases. So did most of my friends. Anyone else? Anyone know why?

After reading a few posts, I put in 2 orders and spent £60+ that I hadn't intended spending...

But today my first order arrived - some lovely shower oil and the amber and gingerlilly body cream freebie - which smells DIVINE!!

Just waiting for my second order to arrive. I'm looking forward to trying the basil & neroli perfume, which was my other free gift.

This was a totally bonkers promotion for them to run, but I'm glad they did!

I love all my freebies: basil neroli candles, pomegranate noir room spray and amber ginger lily body creme. none will be gifts, greedy me Wish I'd bought even more now!

Big thanks to you foodie for alerting us! I never catch wind of these things until they are over.

The Pom noir is lovely as I knew it would be and I really like the freebie basil and neroli. I thought I might find it too floral but it's not, it's lovely and fresh but still got a good depth of scent. I'm a very happy Jelly!

(Only slightly marred by the fact that the yodel delivery person was smoking a pipe as he handed the parcel over and blew smoke into my house . But luckily the beautiful box more than made up for it )

I have fragrances that smell very similar to the Basil and Neroli (Tom Ford Neroli Portofino and Dior Escale a Portofino).
So while it smells very nice, it's destined for the Christmas present box.

Not a fan of the Basil & Neroli at all I had however forgot how much I really do love English Pear & Freesia, and totally kicking myself that I did not buy the perfume of it , or even the room spray! For some reason (reviews!) I went for Pom Noir 🙄 Delighted with the hand & body wash (purchased, not free) of EP & F, hope it smells all day long, coming out of the shower smelling of that is just mmmm!

All of my packages have now arrived and I'm so happy with them. I just unwrapped the freebie rose & oud body cream and my goodness it's divine. I love rose scents anyway, Stella is my favourite perfume, but this is making me want to order the perfume too. I too have discovered how lovely the pear and freesia scent is. Overwhelmed by how generous this giveaway has been, I feel really spoiled as I never really order myself anything fancy and I took full advantage of the offer

Feeling spoilt too...as I walk around with my hands at my nose, keep smelling the English Pear & Freesia hand/body wash. Just squirted Pom Noir all over the house too.

Also just had a Zara sale delivery, and a Kate Spade small wallet delivered, June is one long birthday month, only time I can do this without guilt, amazing how the birthday money seems to stretch

Well I'm upset - ordered Pom Handwash and cologne in two orders, got the B&N cologne and candle respectively. Don't like either of the colognes. like the candle but it was the cologne free gift so have to return! And I've just discovered returns are at sender's cost. That'll teach me to buy first, ask questions later - Royal mail are the only winners here!

If anyone got them amber and ginger lily body creme and isn't keen, but would like to sell on for a reduced price, id be interested in buying! One of my v favourite scents.

Thanks for this thread OP - my order arrived yesterday, bought the lime basil & mandarin cologne and got B&N candle free! Didn't order more as I'm not familiar with other scents and can't afford to buy something I might not like.

Has anyone ever had the hand and arm massage in store? Just wondering if it's worth it and if there's much pressure to buy - don't mind buying something cheap (well,as cheap as you can get in there!) buy don't want pressure to spend loads.

Got mine today, hurrah! I might go for the complimentary hand and arm massage just so I can smell some more scents so I know what to order the next time there's an offer on! Fingers crossed there is a next offer!

massage. No sales pressure at all. It's lovely. For the birthday one you also get free fizz and special chocolates. Was v luffly.

I love the red roses fragrance and I was in crabtree at the weekend and guess what..... they have something that smells very similar...now I can't remember the name, it was rose something, it was lovely.

I wish I'd bought more from jo malone with this offer!! can't afford it but can dream...

Does anyone know what kind of wax is in the Jo Malone candles?
