Jo Malone giveaway - anyone know why?!

Got a free 100ml bottle of Basil & Neroli and a free home candle today with two purchases. So did most of my friends. Anyone else? Anyone know why?

And nutmeg and ginger is Christmassy I think

Jo Malone the store said they wouldn't exchange without a receipt, and they won't exchange from the website. So, that was snookered.

However. Jo Malone in house of Fraser will exchange as long as it's of equal value (no more or less, has to be the same product but different scent).

I removed the black dot on the label with brush cleaner for paint brushes.

DH exchanged today for orange blossom, no issues.

Oooh my first order has just arrived!! (1 of only 2 as I did that whole "will I get something better next time" thing until the promotion ended )

It's funny how our tastes are so different. I really don't like pomegranate noir, peony and blush suede or English pear and freesia.
What i love is (in order!) Grapefruit, Blackberry and Bay, Basil and Neroli (good job really), Earl Grey and Cucumber
I also love the Green Tomato leaf which came out as a candle over Christmas time

Oh no, I bought a pom noir room scent, wasn't one of the gifts! wish i'd gone for english pear and freesia as I know I love it, only the reviews on that one weren't great.

Is is possible to take the scent out of the gift boxes without breaking any seals? I'd love to know what they actually smell like before giving away.

My parcels are tracking via Yodel. Though none are yet here, all 4 are dispatched.

Ok I've just checked and says in transit on or before 24th June. Maybe not til tomorrow then ☹️ Also waiting in for a furniture delivery that said by 3.45 but still no sign!

I arrived this morning. Pom Noir 30ml with a free Basil & Neroli Candle! Very pleased.
The packing department at JM must be doing some overtime to get everything out so quickly.

@foodiefil - Blue Agave and Cacao is discontinued, I was disgruntled to find - it's still the scent showing on the Jo Malone site that you should select if you want to pair it with Velvet Rose and Oud for a warmer result. I bought the Velvet Rose and Oud cologne intense a year or so back for my wedding with the Pomegranate Noir body creme and couldn't afford the Blue Agave and Cacao on top - now I can't buy it at all. Even that Estee Lauder discontinued service confirms it's completely sold out. :(

Went for the Peony and Blush Suede instead to go with my English Pear and Freesia cologne - which to me smells of 'honeymoon' as I bought a full size bottle in the airport on the way to my honeymoon and sprayed it on every day. :)

Other than the scents I've already mentioned - I do like Blackberry and Bay a lot. I know it's aimed at ladies but my hubby and I tend to fight over it! Just hoping I like the Basil and Neroli when it comes.

My first order went through at 3.10pm on Tuesday 20th. Anyone around this time get a shipment notification yet? Trying not to panic... yet ;)

My order from Tuesday 20th (ordered around 8am) has just arrived.
I think there will be considerable variation in order arrival, i am in central London and things tend to get here fairly fast. I wouldn't give up hope just yet!

I ordered on the 20th and just got my dispatch email today. That was for click and collect.

I've ordered on Tuesday, around 9.00. it's only one parcel and it's apparently out for delivery today for click and collect.

I ordered on 21st and 22nd ..... haven't heard anything ......

What struck me as odd is that my click and collect order is going to a Jo Malone store and it's being delivered there by UPS.

I had been assuming they would use their internal distribution centre.

Yes I have checked junk mail regularly. Not going to worry too much yet.
