We have dusted down our Gigis and boyfriend shirts. We are desperately trying to avoid melting in MMFs. We are planning capsule holiday wardrobes. We are getting ready for summer gorgeousness......come and join us for as we wait for the temperatures to soar.....

Dream I think the dresses are tts, I ordered my usual size in a regular fitting but it was gaping in the chest area and a bit too long in length. I then re-ordered it in petite and it fits well - in the name of MNV I just did a try on to check the sizing Wink

Fedup I too unsubscribed from all the emails as I was getting bombarded, the downside is that I don't know when the sales start. I love that leather jacket, do you think it will go in the sale?

Lib great sandals, I love a bit of snake skin, the new leopard! Let us know how you get on with the green dress, it's been in and out of my shopping basket loads.

Shop they are a great dupe for the GV aren't they?

Stitch you'll have to get those holiday clothes back out again, it's going to be hot here this weekend.

Have just finished a load of work so hopefully I'll have more time to post, been stupidly busy these past few months, coupled with a lost fashion mojo, I feel as if I've been out in the wilderness.

libertydoddle · 13/06/2017 21:56

Sending you a hug one. Call them every day and make sure they know how you feel. Flowers

shopafrolic · 13/06/2017 22:10

Hugs to you One

Dreamqueen · 14/06/2017 06:20

Thanks Kitty.

One hope you're feeling better today.

queencerulean · 14/06/2017 07:40

Ha ha shop, I'll see what other monstrosities I can link Grin
Flowers for one

Lovely day here. Wearing my Black uniqlo dress. Nice to have the legs out! Have a good day everyone.

Stitchosaurus · 14/06/2017 12:07

I've gone crazy and got arms and legs out! I'm wearing a navy broderie shirt dress from Boden on this lovely day, here

Luckily I hadn't packed it Grin

One, I hope you've heard from your team Flowers

AmberNectarine · 14/06/2017 14:45

Still available in khaki lib

libertydoddle · 14/06/2017 16:43

Thanks Amber - sold out in my size but will stalk for returns Smile

Dreamqueen · 14/06/2017 17:58

I'm spending fri -wed in town. Going to 4 different night events and 2 in the day. Started sorting out outfits and the pile is bigger than what I'd take on a 2 week holiday. Thank God I'm not going up on the train.

libertydoddle · 14/06/2017 22:46

Long weekends with lots of nights out are definitely hard to pack for dream.

The news is so grim ATM - try as I might I'm finding it hard to be light hearted Sad

One I hope you had a better day today. Did you get your injection? Thinking about you.

Shop hope you are feeling better too.

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 15/06/2017 08:12

i did finally get my injection lib hopefully i'll start to feel better over the next few days. i have to go to a drop in clinic for it from now on, it's not like up north where i lived when they came and did them at your home. bit strange for me as i'd been having it done that way for a long time

libertydoddle · 15/06/2017 08:18

Glad to hear you got sorted one. It is funny how services are organised differently around the country.

shopafrolic · 15/06/2017 09:17

Good stuff One
Better day here Lib after meeting the lovely Sleep for lunch in Camden yesterday :)
Horrible news stories - I can't keep watching. As a victim of fire myself back in the day, a plea from me to all Voguettes to check your smoke alarms please. Thoughts are with the victims and their families, and the amazing firefighters who have worked so hard and with such courage.

Everyonelovessparkles · 15/06/2017 12:08

stitch it's pretty hot here at the moment - 34 today, 32 yesterday. Have had a nice time at the DC have been good.

Glad you've had the injection one, hope you start to feel better soon.

Your outfit yesterday sounded lovely and summery kitty. Those John Lewis dresses you linked are great. You can always dress them up a bit with beads for a more casual evening look too.

Stokey · 15/06/2017 13:03

I really like that cobalt dress from JL Kitty , gorgeoous. I think the Boden ones are a bit structured for me, am sitting on hands waiting for better sales deals at the moment.

Sorry I put you off the Dune shoes Fedup. they're not that bad, think i'm developing a bunion though and they rub a bit. My comfiest shoes in that style (although slightly lower heels) are Sam Edelman Trinas. My leather jacket is from Muubaa & is super soft. They're often in the Outnet or Brand Alley sales. Leather from Massimo Dutti is also really nice quality and around your price range.

News from Grenfell so depressing, especially as it looks like the council were aware of the issues and just ignored them Angry

We had a burglary over half term. We were away and they didn't trash the house but did steal my jewellery box and Dh's watch. Luckily nothing like Blingy's standards but a lot of silver and things that my parents, grandmother and DH had given me over the years. I have a birthday coming up so want to ask for a few items - under £200 - to replace some of the stuff I lost. Where would you start?

libertydoddle · 15/06/2017 17:50

How horrible to have been burgled Stokey. My jewellery favourite ATM is chupi.com. Irish designer, she used to work for Topshop. All her stuff comes in silver and is very lovely.

FedupNagging · 15/06/2017 18:29

One what a relief you've had your injection so hope you feel better soon.

Glad you feeling better too Shop

That must have been a massive shock for you Stokey when you returned; with any luck the insurance will cover the ££ but unfortunately not the sentimental value.

I have a few leather jackets on my secret list (have my fingers xd that the Jigsaw one goes on sale Kitty) including a Muubaa - am pretty sure SoYo* had a few of those.

Lib I've just had a look at Chupi - there are some lovely pieces. Also, I tried those M&S sandals but wasn't sure so returned them. I've since seen someone else wearing them and now you so wonder if I was a bit hasty?! The SE's Stokey linked are great too but not sure how much I'd wear them for £100+.

I have actually been clothes shopping today but not for me sadly - a suit, shirt and shoes for ds3. Have you sorted your ds Dry?

Dream your few days in London sound fun - and exhausting! Have a fab time.

Dreamqueen · 15/06/2017 18:34

That's awful Stokey.

Out for dinner tonight wearing old Hush dress and Clarks romantic moon sandals. Sometimes I do miss wearing heels. Probably could manage them when going for dinner in the car.

I'm still in shock at the fire. Have stopped watching the news it's so distressing.

Trying to ignore all the sale emails, i don't really need anything. My sister arrives tomorrow & I know I'll get caught up in her frenzied shopping marathons. Last year we spent 7 hours in the Regent St area. Not many shops where she lives.

kittyhello · 16/06/2017 09:26

Stokey sorry to hear about you being burgled Flowers
I also have that JL dress in navy too[[https://www.johnlewis.com/john-lewis-jersey-bandeau-dress-navy/p1911208 navy bandeau dress]]

Primark cotton bandeau dresses are also really good too, have several of these and they are cheap as chips
I've had this one for years 5+ and it still looks good they're fab for holidays.

Dream have fun in London

shopafrolic · 16/06/2017 10:36

Stokey sorry to hear about the burglary - horrible when you feel that strangers have invaded your safe space. When we were burgled I went out and tried to replace everything I had lost but the replacements never felt the same as they were tinged with a bit of sadness and anger I guess. So perhaps rather than trying to replace items with similar, think about what suits you now and start some new memories. Does that sound weird?
Dream 7 hours browsing shops is my idea of hell. I like to go in knowing what I want to look at and get out ASAP. Have fun!
Fedup I had a Muubaa jacket, the leather was super soft but always felt quite fragile. I much prefer the quality of my Whistles jacket.
Hope everyone is enjoying the sun. Nearly the weekend.

queencerulean · 16/06/2017 10:52

stokey that's utterly shit for you. When I go away I always fear about my jewellery for sentimental reasons too. I hide my jewellery box. Have you looked at accessorise-they have some lovely pieces in their silver range. I think shops idea is a good one.

queencerulean · 16/06/2017 10:54

Also Dinny Hall have some lovely pieces.

queencerulean · 16/06/2017 10:57

Also bill skinner if you like the quirky pendant stuff

queencerulean · 16/06/2017 11:01

Estella bartlett also do nice bits.

Stokey · 16/06/2017 13:13

Thanks everyone, great advice Shop. Good idea to hide stuff, we were just so naive., Luckily a neighbour found it so we knew what had happened before we came back.

& fab links QueenC and Lib . I'm going to start a wish list.

I'm pretty sure I got the Trinas from Brand Alley fedup, paid around the £50 mark for them. I remember as I bought some for my childminder too!

Good luck shopping Dream.

It's going to scorchio this weekend, think my new warehouse dress will be getting some wear & trusty H&M summer dresses.
