QueenC you're right - in theory it should go with my clsssic preppy style but I look at them all as too masculine for me! You're Aquazurra one is a good one. I have seen another one that I will buy to try then link.

Posting from a v hot poolside, shade, coffee and my first netting since we got here last week.

Like Dry I'm enjoying the simplicity of a warm holiday wardrobe, I packed carefully was under my luggage allowance and had room in my case, unheard of for me but so much better. Love my wedges I bought before I came, nice for a bit of height for evenings but so comfy and not tottery!
Have read one book already and stuck into number 2, haven't looked at one at home since May half term.
Right back to my book!

Blingy I have to be careful with loafers too, can look too masculine for me too. I wear them with ankle grazers only. Never with skirts......

I've always regretted buying Boden shoes, Fedup, as I find them very uncomfortable, I'll have another look though as took my DDs into town, spent a fortune on them in the Disney shop and on lunch to then find that the &OS black shoes are sold out in store too (they are my regret I didn't buy sooner item!). However, I got these tan sandals, Liberty, wondered if they might be good for you? They are half price in store. Great suit, you will land a fab job in no time. I know, it's hard saying goodbye.

I'm liking those tan sandals Rosie I have 1 pair of Boden shoes and they are not comfortable at all.

*Blingy sorry for the DF link but could you do flats like this with cropped jeans or 7/8 trousers Gucci slippers I wasn't convinced with the slipper look until I saw these shoes.

Fedup what can I say about those loafers hmm they look comfortable Trying to think what summer clothing I would have liked to have bought but this weather is making it hard to think. A trench coat perhaps

Blair isn't it autumn already? I'm wearing a Tippi now and had to get my Ash Virgins out. I feel as if summer has passed us by and we've been fast tracked to autumn. Glad I didn't invest too heavily in summer clothes as the only time they'll be worn is on holiday.

I've really lost my fashion mojo atm, finding it hard to dress for this weather. Sorry for the cr@p weather doom and gloom post.

Bernice I've decided to wear the dress today with snake print Gigis, I've also put a snake print belt on the dress too. I like your denim shirt and if I didn't have one I'd buy it, such a good price too.

Back from holiday, it was really lovely. Weather was perfect with pure sun each day and 28 to 32 degrees. Saw that poor London had a bad weather period which made me gasp, but at least the garden is thriving despite us being away.

Very nice, lots of relaxing, swimming and reading - just how I like it.

Missed you all, couldn't post while I was away!

I have a friend coming to stay for a few days so have lots of things planned, all of which seem to include cocktails, fizz and food. Can't wait for her to arrive. Am just doing a spot of wardrobe planning to cover all eventualities as the weather is a bit ropey, as per!

Hi all, just on holiday at the moment. Staying in a city for a night and have just had a lovely wander around the town. Feeling like a scruff bag though. I need to update some of my basics. The navy blouse I have on is v old. Feels v comfortable but caught sight of myself and it looks awful. Also my keds have seen better days. So they are top of my a/w wishlst-new grey/silver trainers.
