The weather forcast for the weekend here is rain, all weekend - we're going to an outdoors party on Saturday- live music, caterers etc so I really really hope it's wrong. I may need to rethink my outfit to include rain Mac and galoshes

Everyone meant to say I loved the white broderie dress you linked the other day.

Having a lovely evening on the holiday terrace with dh, dinner, drinks and googling who all the superyachts in the bay belong to. Am faint at the price this Hermès bag went for at auction. We saw it at the preview last week, I loved it and the sales lady was giving it the big push when she saw my bamboo bag. Dh said he hopes to god i didn't put in a cheeky bid - no fear .

Feeling a bit frazzled so only dropping in to wish Lib a happy birthday Not sure I knew either. And happy birthday for tomorrow Marsha if I don't get on here...

We are away from tomorrow night, and getting an early ferry on Sunday. (Silver linings - someone crashed into DH last week, so we have a diesel hire car, means the drive will cost us a lot less! He's fine ) Can't wait!

We're away for a long weekend in Ireland seeing family. It's a bit grey but not as unremittingly rainy as predicted which is a bonus.

And I just found out I got a job 🎉. It starts in September but am in a bit of a panic already about my work wear wardrobe as won't have worked for nearly 3 years when I restart. Have just done a Me + Em sales shop. What shoes do I need? I'll be traveling on tube so maybe some loafers or brogues? I have a couple of trad pointy courts that I can carry in but they're a bit too high to be comfy.

Brogues and loafers are my standard work shoes Stokey and ankle boots in winter. Well done on the job!!! Is it full time? What did you get in Me&Em?
