I'm finding it really hard to find a new bikini, needs to be a certain style of bikini bottom (not quite boy short but nearly) and triangle top. Why so hard! I don't won't frills and fluff just plain.

And I fear I'm leaving it too late as we fly on Friday!

I am really struggling with shopping for holiday clothes, going somewhere v v hot and I have very little that is suitable. Ordered these trousers in various colours but not sure they are very flattering dd said they made me look like I have massive hips!zara cotton trousers need to try them on in daylight.

I have quite a few summer shirts/tops but most of them need a vest or something underneath. I need more one layer tops!

Went shopping at the weekend and bought this joseph jumper I think it looks better on
and these jeans paige hoxton I don't wear skinnies very much now but these are more of a slim crop unrolled on me.

Marsha My sister bought some bikinis from Seafolly when she was here. Same requirements, triangle top and non skimpy bottoms but had to order from both Figleaves and Surfdome to find her sizes. probably too late for Friday though.

marsha I was going to say seafolly too, they do have them in John Lewis if you have a Waitrose near you for next day delivery. There is also this website www.swimwear365.com they have next day delivery. There's this top in boden which isn't too patterned and they have these bottoms but maybe a bit too bright?? I got a bandeau bikini from
Boden this year and was pleased with it. I also got a cheap one from next in the sale last year which was good and try deliver next day. ASOS do next day delivery as well. Good luck! I hate swimwear shopping.

Had a lovely afternoon tea at the langham yesterday. I love afternoon tea! Loads of thunder and lightning here last night so everything feels a bit fresher today.

It was a joint Xmas present but now DH can't eat bread etc so I will probably get to take my sisters. Need to get that booked in! Hunting on asos now. Realising I am so picky. The triangle top must tie behind the neck not have a bra shape and have a good shape triangle and the bottoms must be midi shape. And that's after you have to scroll past all the cut outs and frills

Raining here now and very grey. For some reason I feel quite autumnal even though we still have about 6 weeks of summer left. I think I'm going to go to Bicester next week. Now that the sales are winding down and new stock is coming in, I figured Bicester might be getting new stock in. I'm on the look out for a dress for my birthday. It's a big birthday but not sure what to do. I'm not having a big party but expect will have something. I have seen these dresses on the outnet but thought I'd see where they had in store at Bicester black and white , navy lace and wavy. The lace feels the most special but not sure how much wear it will get.

Ps shop the DVF dress you returned is in the clearance for £80 in case you were interested at that price.

I went into Comptoir yesterday and got these chinos. They are 'black olive' colour which is a fantastic really dark green (Blair your sister might like them). Great fit and so comfortable.
