We have dusted down our Gigis and boyfriend shirts. We are desperately trying to avoid melting in MMFs. We are planning capsule holiday wardrobes. We are getting ready for summer gorgeousness......come and join us for as we wait for the temperatures to soar.....

DryWhiteagainW · 15/07/2017 13:45

Kitty thought if you with my outfit yesterday: white Baxters, khaki sleeveless frill top fro Banana Republic, snakeskin Gigi's .
Still in sweaty gym kit today...must change.....

kittyhello · 15/07/2017 14:40

Dry I'm wearing my Baxters with snakeskin Gigis and belt but have a black t shirt on.

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 15/07/2017 16:41

bernice the only thing i can think of that i 'need' is some sort of blazer. I figure i should go for black as it would go with most if not all of my wardrobe but i don't want anything too 'sharp' looking, something soft and maybe a bit slouchy would be best, i don't really do sharp and clean looks, i'm much more rumpled and creased than that! otherwise i can't think of anything that's an actual need rather than a fantasy want IYSWIM?

DryWhiteagainW · 15/07/2017 18:18

London Voguettes, I'm down for the week......weather wise what's going on? Looks like mid 20s, are skinnies and top too hot? Do I need a jacket? Out a couple of evenings so I guess I do.......

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 15/07/2017 19:08

I also wore white skinnies today! With chambray shirt and Stans.

Viva I love your Hush items and the M&S dress, I'm looking at Hush now for last minute holiday items Grin

Hope you're having fun QueenC and are dry (in the weather sense not the alcohol sense!)

Dry I would bring a jacket just in case, but the forecast does look good.

I've just bought some tan Gigis from shopbop, as I really lack plain sandals that go with everything. Fingers crossed they arrive this week.

Everyonelovessparkles · 15/07/2017 20:35

Good luck queenc with the camping. Hope there is copious 🍷 And no 🌧.

Nice buys viva. That skirt is very pretty and looks like a useful buy.

I was just thinking the other day that I might try white jeans next year. sheep Smile

Weather looks dry for next week dry and around 20. Forecast says sunny and cloudy. A light weight jacket might be ok or even just a cardigan depending on how much you're going to be outside??

Nice shoes amber. Hope the feet aren't hurting too much today.

Sandals sound good blair, Hope they arrive on time. I have been pleased with my sandals purchases of these and these as they have covered most scenarios.

VivaVegas · 16/07/2017 10:22

Hope the camping is going well Queen, we had a glamping weekend a few weeks ago which was fab, kids loved it and nice to have a few home comforts!
I have white jeans but rarely wear them as Im always thinking I'll spill stuff on them/sit in something. Should probably just get them on and not worry.
Love those Ravel sandals Everyone. I always get s few bits in the Hush sale Blair, to me they're like Whistles, overpriced at full price.
Had a few hours shopping yesterday at actual shops which is a rarety these days! Got the espadrilles I wanted Jones Wedges but wet for the neutral instead of black as I think they'll go with more. Also bought this lovely pink silk top, fab colour and thinking it will be good with the Hush skirt for in the uk, still need strappy Top for it for holiday.
I also got a lovely navy linen jacket from TOAST in TKMaxx for £30, tag on it was £155. Really nice.
So after that I really need to not spend anymore until autumn!

queencerulean · 16/07/2017 15:13

I survived Grin!! But I am bloody knackered. We were in a massive group and I was awoken at midnight with wonderful karaoke Grin. There was rain but luckily just showers so didn't really ruin the fun. There was also copious amounts of booze. But 2 nights is definitely my limit!

queencerulean · 16/07/2017 15:28

for blingy. Similar shape to your McQueen

queencerulean · 16/07/2017 15:34

love this

queencerulean · 16/07/2017 15:38

for Amber. Namesake sandals

FedupNagging · 16/07/2017 16:58

The J Crew bag finally arrived on Thursday & I'm very happy with it. Was out on the razz Thurs and Fri now taking sat & sun to recover and used it both nights. It will get a lot of use I think.

Queen well done surviving the weekend camping Halo. The Zimmerman dress is an absolutely gorgeous colour - would be a terrible style on me but would definitely suit you if you have a spare £1K.

Dream I really like the pleated dress from &OS.

I forgot to link my one purchase from last weekend - black pleated dress - which is midi length on me & looks fab with silver gigi's or grey animal print Dune block heels. I think I need a silver bag now....

FedupNagging · 16/07/2017 17:18

I also forgot to say I really like the espadrilles that you purchased Viva - I was looking at the Jigsaw one's (they're not as high) but couldn't decide! I think Mara bought some a few months ago too.

Longislandicetee · 16/07/2017 18:31

Well done queenC! Grin we are back home as well after an amazing 5 days. My back continues to hurt and I have another consultant appointment this week, but my cup definitely runneth after a week like this.

That Alia dress is so gorgeous. I actually went to buy it but they don't have my size fr36. Hmm will have a look for it elsewhere. I actually wore my black McQueen jacquard dress yesterday for lunch in a gastropub. With my Chloe ballet flats, it felt a good choice.

queencerulean · 16/07/2017 19:49

Oh do buy it blingy as I love it when someone buys something I link-even though it's only you and amber that can afford the fantasy links Grin.
My coach bag is getting a lot of use and has become my go to bag. fedup I've seen a lovely silver one somewhere that I would have bought if I didn't already have one. I'll try and remember where it was!
kitty sorry I haven't got to the post office yet to send the dress. Will do tomorrow.

queencerulean · 16/07/2017 19:51

Does anyone like labradors

queencerulean · 16/07/2017 20:01

I have no words

queencerulean · 16/07/2017 20:04

lush colour amber you could rock this

Longislandicetee · 16/07/2017 20:13

In my alternate life I am tall like Shop and rocking this look. Just love that camisole.

QueenC I also have no words!

AmberNectarine · 16/07/2017 21:25

Oh QueenC I love that fur jacket. Probably a little too close to the plum Topshop one I bought right before the MU last nov though, and for some reason I find that shade of pink really hard to wear, despite it being one of my best colours.

You've got a great eye though - that Elizabeth and James dress you linked for me, which I subsequently bought, is one of my go-to 'I feel a bit fat and uninspired' party dresses. I always feel great in it. In fact, I wore it to last year's Xmas party.

blingy I wore the Loubs with a gingham frilled pencil skirt (M&S), black V-neck tee (uniqlo) and my Stella Falabella.

Anyone seen any nice bags recently? Bonus time coming up and I always buy a new bag, but I don't really have anything in mind for once. I quite like the LV Twist bag, but not much leaping out at me. I was also thinking about a monogrammed Goyard, as I'll be in Paris in August, but I'm not sure it's really me. Maybe this should be the year I get a Balenciaga city? I was thinking of a 2.55, but I'm so rough with my bags that my little Chanel has worn terribly.

Anyway, enough rambling! Hope you're all well - am going to try to fully re-engage with the thread now that life has calmed down!

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 16/07/2017 21:44

Amber I think a J W Anderson Pierce bag might suit you? Glad to hear life is calmer, you've had loads going on!

queenC Omg the doggy skirt Grin

kittyhello · 16/07/2017 21:44

Amber glad life has calmed down and you'll be re-joining us

Queen no worries I know how busy life can get

Fedup love that shade of grey, when I looked on the JCrew website they didn't have that colour, just as well as I'd have been so tempted. Love your dress in black.

Blingy such a perfect dress for you, hope you manage to track one does in your size

Viva great wedges, I too think Mara has something similar

Every great summer sandals

Saw these sandals in Warehouse today I have a pair really similar to them from Clarks which must be 4/5 years old. I still have them but this year I thought I'd give them a miss as they are a bit fugly but after seeing they're still current I might get them out - me shallow? Grin these are mine

libertydoddle · 16/07/2017 21:55

amber I was admiring Blingy's Balenciaga City at the MU and it would suit you. Also it looks better as it wears so might work if you are rough on bags. QueenC could be your personal shopper!! She always does link great stuff for you. I love that jacket.

Got a couple of t-shirts in H&M today, cream Led Zeppelin one (channeling dream) and a charcoal grey v-neck linen. Also a tencel sleeveless kakhi shirt dress with a tiered skirt. Apologies for lack of links (am technically inept on my phone).

Bernice I am absolutely loving my white loafers. Wearing them all the time. I care not that I may look 2016 instead of 2017!!

libertydoddle · 16/07/2017 21:58

kitty love the fugly sandals! I might try out the Warehouse ones. I want some that style but my chunky ankles makes getting that style a bit tricky.
