We have dusted down our Gigis and boyfriend shirts. We are desperately trying to avoid melting in MMFs. We are planning capsule holiday wardrobes. We are getting ready for summer gorgeousness......come and join us for as we wait for the temperatures to soar.....

Has anyone bought anything from pampelone? I really like this but am not sure of sizes.

shopafrolic · 05/07/2017 15:12

No idea Everyone - it's a very pretty dress :) Sign up to their email updates and you get 15% off your first purchase from the look of things.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 05/07/2017 15:22

The Frugality has featured Pampelone a couple of times everyone - most recently the other day. Maybe Lucy Williams too. Gorgeous dress.

I had to do another Ralph Lauren order as they wouldn't refund me the £40 price reduction. Slipped this dress into my basket as well - it arrived yesterday and I love it! I've literally spent £500 on navy RL items Blush

Everyonelovessparkles · 05/07/2017 16:06

Thanks. Yes I saw one of their dresses on the frugality's blog which spurred me to investigate!

Shame about the refund blair , I don't know why companies refuse to honour the difference when they know you will just reorder and send the other one back....That dress is nice though.

Flying ant day here 🐜 Which is making me feel very itchy.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 05/07/2017 16:19

They said it was because it was a further reduction, rather than the items being full price then going into the sale, which I sort of understand... but yeah, they've had to pay for 2 couriers which they wouldn't otherwise, plus having to pack and unpack the 2nd order.

Flying ants are the worst! We had loads in our conservatory the other day during the heatwave, all in clusters, and normal ants too. Shudder.

shopafrolic · 05/07/2017 17:50

Is it me or has Sienna Miller's face changed shape?

libertydoddle · 05/07/2017 18:26

Yes she has changed!

Blair that dress is perfect for you.

Really like the look of that dress everyone. Have you ordered it?

I've been shopping....in Aspinal and Joseph...have the slightly ill feeling I get when I indulge myself. Will do links when I get home.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 05/07/2017 19:14

That sounds very exciting Lib! Yes links please!

FedupNagging · 05/07/2017 19:46

Can't wait to see what you've bought in Aspinal Lib

Shame about the DVF & Splendid dresses Shop; I like the star dress but love the JC one and can see it would suit your style.

My J Crew bag has only just been shipped so it's unlikely I'll have it for Sat - it's taken nearly a week to actually dispatch it Shock

Blair fab RL dress - think you have found your designer!

Everyone I've not heard of Pamplone but their dresses are very pretty.

I spilt nail varnish on my Ganni breton the other day (in fact it went everywhere so surprised only one item of clothing got hit). I love that top so am very hacked off about it. Grrrr

DryWhiteagainW · 05/07/2017 19:53

Might just be the photo. Or she's lost more weight. Or she's had more work......

Styling question......would you put printed pencil skirt with White broderie too or is it too much? Blair, anyone. I always style my skirts with plain, non fussy tops.......

OP posts:
Everyonelovessparkles · 05/07/2017 20:20

Not ordered the dress yet lib as have contacted them about sizing. Am very keen though, especially with 15% off! Look forward to seeing your buys.

Can't believe it taken so long to despatch the bag fedup. What a pain about the nail varnish. Not sure there is anything you can do to rectify it...

What kind of print is the skirt dry? It might work if the print wasn't too fussy. Have you tried it? I tend to wear plain tops with a patterned skirt too but I suppose broderie isn't a pattern as such....

libertydoddle · 05/07/2017 20:24

I think it could work Dry, is this Saturday outfit planning? Smile

My purchases....

I have had my eye on this bag for ages and the discount made me do it! It's really beautiful.

Total impulse buy of shoes in store they were £130. Again I have been keeping an eye out for some block heeled courts so I think I will wear a lot.

And now for a little respite from spending!

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 05/07/2017 20:37

Dry try it on and take a pic! I have worn a white crochet/lace type top with a printed pencil skirt, so broderie anglaise might similarly work?

The Aspinal bag is gorgeous and very you Lib. The shoes too, lovely!

Just eaten my first pizza in about 4 months (DH can't have any and I have been craving it). So good lol.

Fedup that is really annoying. Fingers crossed you can get a replacement you love as much.

FedupNagging · 05/07/2017 20:41

Fab bag Lib, absolutely gorgeous colour. Nice shoes too.

Dry if i'm wearing something patterned, I always opt for plain to go with but you should try the look to see if it works.

Oh and have looked at some pics of Sienna Miller and her face definitely looks different - maybe she's sucking in those cheeks - in fact it looks like she's doing that in a lot of photos!

shopafrolic · 05/07/2017 20:43

She is way too skinny too. The Dressing Room have just shared her pic to promote Rockins scarves that they stock. She looks ill.

Everyonelovessparkles · 05/07/2017 21:15

Gorgeous bag lib. What a lovely colour. And a good price Smile

DryWhiteagainW · 05/07/2017 21:16

I actually think it does work, not for Saturday .....yet.

MU outfit changing by the hour........

OP posts:
libertydoddle · 05/07/2017 21:54

Price is great everyone. Only that colour and the taupe reduced. I didn't expect it to go into the sale.

Outfit planning is one of the best things about MU's dry. I have no doubt you'll look gorgeous as always.

DryWhiteagainW · 05/07/2017 22:05

Shucks thanks. What about you Liberty?

OP posts:
libertydoddle · 05/07/2017 22:14

I think I'll wear the Zara red and white striped midi dress. Or possibly Boden ruched dress.

DryWhiteagainW · 05/07/2017 22:30

Sound nice....flat sandals?

OP posts:
libertydoddle · 05/07/2017 22:56

Yes. Either tan R&B ones or rose gold SE sandals that I may have ordered last night Blush

AmberNectarine · 06/07/2017 09:17

Absolutely sweltering in grey leopard print Dolce & Gabbana pencil dress, worn with black patent Louboutins, Tiffany bone cuff and Chanel bag. Bringing out the big guns for DH's promotion celebration drinks. Love this dress, but it is spray-on tight and today is not the day for tight garments. Luckily the office is Baltic even on the hottest days.

Gorgeous bag lib - I just took delivery of a new purse from Aspinal yesterday. Their leather goods are top quality and very hard wearing, so it will be a good investment for you, I think.

Hoping to make it on Sat, even if just for a couple. If I can, I'll be in my Zara jumpsuit.

libertydoddle · 06/07/2017 10:07

Thanks Amber - your outfit sounds amazing. I've sent you a pm with the details for Saturday.

Everyonelovessparkles · 06/07/2017 10:46

Fab outfit amber, have a great time tonight.

lib you are on a shopping roll!

Ordered the red natalia dress in medium. Was pretty impressed that I heard back from pampelone first thing this morning regarding sizing. With the 15% subscription discount it was quite reasonable. I want to order this for minisparkles I know it's a bit sad but don't care!
