bought a shell shaped top in next the other day, just plain cotton with white embroidery on it around the neckline and upper chest area. I thought the top was blue int he shop but when i wore it yesterday it turns out its actually grey! never mind, i still like it all the same. that's about the extent of my shopping life right now, just not feeling it still really

I ordered these sandals last night. I'd been deliberating them for a while as I love them but told myself that I didn't need any more sandals. However there was only 1 pair left in my size so I panic ordered

I nipped to the shops to take back the oasis order.
Tried this dress on but the waist was just slightly too high and I knew I'd spend the whole time tugging at it.

I did buy a top in there though that the assistant said came in yesterday. I can't find it online yet?

I was hoping to find this dress in store as I tried it on ages ago and was waiting for the sale but it's sold out online. There were none in store either.

Just back from a very lovely wine fuelled lunch with dh, ds2 and his gf to celebrate the end (finally) of his education. I wore my new sandals with a joules breton dress and tan Mulberry bag. Ds 3 has one more exam to go then we can have a relaxed and peaceful summer. Actually, ds3 will be leaving home in September and ds2 hoping to leave by the end of the year; I'm suddenly feeling very relieved

I didn't have time to do much shopping in town but have been busy online today. Ordered Clarks loafers. Think they'll go with loads of stuff. In Uniqlo ordered navy blouse I already have it in white & love it. When I orderd this, I didn't read the details & thought it was black but am happy that it's navy.

Thought this dress would be good for holidays

For some crazy reason, we are going away with carry on luggage only. I can manage the clothes part thanks to pinterest packing guides but I'm reallyy struggleng with the toiletries fitting into that tiny plastic bag. I'll buy sun cream in Boots after security. I've bought loads of empty little bottles but am struggling with what is essential.

Dream last year I did several hand luggage only trips, and as a contact lens wearer and also with all my skin creams I've got the toiletries down to a fine art... the key to this is that I have 1.5 bags worth and DH only gets half a bag
But this is what I usually take:

• Make up remover, cleanser, moisturiser, sun tan lotion, saline, shampoo and conditioner - decanted in small bottles from Boots
• Contact lens solution - I beg my optician for the freebie sample bottles
• 2 x prescription face creams in tubes
• Facial SPF (bottle is small enough to take)
• Lip balm
• Eye drops
• Makeup (probably just a lipstick, mascara and concealer for holiday)
• Purse spray of perfume if there's room

Deodorant is a stick so that doesn't count, ditto eyebrow pencil etc. Also if you are staying in a hotel you can probably lose shampoo and conditioner.

Don't know if this helps, but I feel that if I can do it, anyone can

Oh and always bag it up before the airport (I use Ziploc bags from costco) so you know the bags will close!

Just had a Sunday night meal out at a fab local Thai. Wore my M&S white flared sleeve tee, my 501 skinnies and my pink LKB heels which I haven't worn for ages. I forgot how comfortable they are!
