We have dusted down our Gigis and boyfriend shirts. We are desperately trying to avoid melting in MMFs. We are planning capsule holiday wardrobes. We are getting ready for summer gorgeousness......come and join us for as we wait for the temperatures to soar.....

Amber Flowers hope all is okay

Dream hope your dm get compensated, unbelievable Angry

Lovely bags links Queen such beautiful colour greens, love the belt too, I need a new one.

Well the Whistles blouses went back, they were a bit too peasanty for me sadly

Bought a new snakeskin belt identical to Dry's Blush it matches the SE's really well from the pictures Grin I too love a bit of match match at times.

Finally bought an item of clothing that is a keeper, this simple denim skirt was in my sales pin, as I didn't want to pay fp for it. It's really nice.

shopafrolic · 25/06/2017 22:08

Good buy on the skirt Kitty I can see you in that Smile
I'm loving all the Glastonbury coverage, sat here watching Ed Sheeran.
Jo Whiley has smashed it fashion wise (as per)

Love Jo Whiley - felt very old when they said Entroducing by DJ Shadow was 21 years old, soundtrack to my university life. Your outfit sounds lovely Shop

Gorgeous bags Queen C

Glad the Trinas are a hit Fedup, I do think they're pretty perfect sandals.

I just had a job interview which went rather well. Am now in a panic that I'm going to get it and will have to buy a load of work clothes... maybe I need the Boden dress. They said they'd let me know by the end of the week so will sit on my hands til then!

I just got a sales preview from Hush, there's a couple of nice things but they feel a little over-priced & charge full delivery and returns at sales time which annoys me.

shopafrolic · 26/06/2017 17:55

Quiet on here today Hmm
Stokey I think Hush is too pricey for the quality now. Shame as I do like some of their bits.

libertydoddle · 26/06/2017 18:43

I have just ordered the SE Trina's in tan too.

I am so fed up with waiting to leave...we still don't have a date for exchange on the house and I feel caught in limbo as we can't finalise anything until then. Finding it hard to concentrate at work etc. And my mood is massively up and down as I swing from being really excited about all our plans one minute to being bloody terrified about it all the next. DH is really angsty too and it's rubbing off on DD Sad. Off to yoga now which will hopefully calm me down a bit.

DryWhiteagainW · 26/06/2017 20:44

Oh Liberty so sorry, horrid to be in limbo like that.....but, breathe in the downward dog or whatever you will get there, you will and we'll try to calm you down in 10 days too.

OP posts:
Dreamqueen · 27/06/2017 08:02

Lib hope you feel more calm after yoga. The waiting to exchange must be awful.

Found some good hol stuff on Hush sale but they don't seem to do express delivery during the sale & they'd arrive too late. Didn't bother ordering in the end as no one to accept the parcel.

Off to Westfield later with my sister to pick up a load of click and collect stuff and spend a few hours in Hell. I like going as it opens but have a few other stops to do on the way.

shopafrolic · 27/06/2017 09:42

Lib big hug for you my friend. It's a massive change with lots of moving parts that all need to come together. Unsurprising that you feel in limbo and angsty. Looking forward to seeing you at the MU x

No fashion news here, I'm starting to get organised for our holiday which is a month away now. We normally go away for a week but this is a 10 day trip so I need to make sure I have enough. July is a spendy month though so am hoping I won't have to buy anything new.

Everyonelovessparkles · 27/06/2017 09:47

lib hope you are feeling a bit better today. I think buying and selling are the most stressful things you can do and then factoring in a move to the other side of the world, no wonder you are feeling hassled! FlowersWine

Have a good trip today dream. Terrible service from BA by the way, have you heard any more from them regarding compensation for your mum?

I was doing some fantasy shopping on NAP and matches the other day and thought that so many of the summer dresses are made for tall thin people - I'm just not sure all those kaftan, loose, long linen type sun dresses suit the average person. I do like the idea of a maxi type sundress but as I never wear long dresses i'm just not sure if they suit me.

I was reviewing my purchase spreadsheet for this year and I've hardly bought any thing. not sure if this is because I'm being more considered or if there just isn't much around I want to buy. Grin

In the office today. Wearing my Michael kors gingham skirt and black top. Feels summery but weather appropriate given the grey sky.

Hope everyone has a good day. Smile

MarshaBrady · 27/06/2017 09:47

Completely normal Lib, can understand how you feel. We are looking to move now, and it's only down the road, causing me enough stress!

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 27/06/2017 10:14

Big hugs for you lib totally understandable that you feel the way you do. Hope the yoga helps you find some calm space Thanks moving alone is stressful never mind everything you've got on top of that!

still not got my shopping mojo back, i think it's a combination of me not feeling great in my self and there being nothing that's grabbing me in the shops. still, saves me money i suppose rather than me wasting it on things i'm not convinced about!

libertydoddle · 27/06/2017 13:40

Thanks all - the waiting is a PITA and DH isn't well again - I'm sure it's the stress. And my sodding phone is playing up - it's refusing to connect to the internet - a modern day disaster. I was in total limbo this morning as it wouldn't connect with the result that I couldn't see the address for my meeting on my calendar - a colleague texted it to me and then I realised that I am now fully dependent on Google maps to get anywhere so I had to call her back for directions Shock

It's raining here like proverbial cats and dogs....

Marsha exciting re the move - are you on the market yet?

DryWhiteagainW · 27/06/2017 18:06

You all know that I love my family, but tonight I could bloody kill the lot of them, DH included..........teenaged boys are as bad as toddler boys, absolutely no difference.....and middle aged boys are exactly the same Confused.......think I need some yoga myself Sad....and a Gin................................and breathe

OP posts:
libertydoddle · 27/06/2017 19:07

sending soothing vibes your way Dry. I'm on the Wine early tonight.

queencerulean · 27/06/2017 20:14

I'm on the Gin. Pissed off, fed up etc etc. I've been trying to come off my antidepressants for a while (was on them for menopausal pmt symptoms) as i don't think I need them now I'm on hrt. The withdrawals are hideous though-dizziness, hungover feeling, fatigue (think those early days of pregnancy when you literally can't keep awake), irritability. So so irritable today Angry. I'm also losing my eye off the ball which is a disaster in these last few weeks of term so I think I'm going to stay on them for now!

And breathe.

lib and dry hope you're ok.

Let's all have 10k to make us feel better. See you in Chanel.....

MarshaBrady · 28/06/2017 09:52

Lib yo, we're at the stage where we need to find something we like. Looking at lots of houses. So annoying about the slowness in the exchange, is it a chain thing? The stress levels get so high.

QueenC oh no sounds horrible, hope it passes quickly.

I went to Liberty the other day and couldn't find anything to buy with my nice voucher Confused, mostly sales dregs so I'll wait for the new season. Must remember to spend it before September.

In the meantime I'll have
