I like the neckline too, I'm quite grateful not to get an eyeful of cleavage these days.

SamanthaBrique · 20/05/2017 16:06

"Must say groom not much of a looker is he?"

Yes but he's loaded so...

I doubt old Pips would've fallen for anything else!

Bluntness100 · 20/05/2017 16:07

I also like the neckline. I think it looks really elegant and it suits her.

DameXanaduBramble · 20/05/2017 16:09

Kate's dress is straight outta Jacques Vert.

Whisky2014 · 20/05/2017 16:13

Wow some of the guests outfits are horrendous!

edengarden123 · 20/05/2017 16:18

She looks beautiful... the first thing I noticed were her seriously toned arms.... I'm very envious.

Bubblysqueak · 20/05/2017 16:21

Love the pic in the fail of Kate telling George off complete with gritted teeth followed by a the one of a sulking George!

TatianaLarina · 20/05/2017 16:22

I'd say Kate's dress is straight out of Katherine Hepburn's closet around 1943. Proper 40s vintage style. I love it. Not wild about the colour.

Myinsidesareallwrong · 20/05/2017 16:29

Pippas dress looks exactly like Kates wedding dress to me! knows nothing about fashion

App1eCakes · 20/05/2017 16:30

Pippa's dress is very pretty, she looks good in it. Not so impressed by Carole's outfit, it's a bit "meh" to me.

But I'm much more taken by the guest in the navy cutout knee length dress, pictured next to Donna Air... anyone have a clue where that's from? (Sorry I can't do clicky link to a photo.)

HotelEuphoria · 20/05/2017 16:32

Dress is gorgeous but her new hubby is punching a bit.

Kate's outfit wouldn't be my choice for her.

Very beautiful wedding though.

specialsubject · 20/05/2017 16:33

frumpy lumpy lace, looks like the toilet-roll doll just as big sis did. Why not use that amazing bridesmaid dress? I am itching just looking at the frock.

Kate also dressed like the 1950s and it wasn't a good look then. And no wonder the page boys are pulling v signs in those ridiculous knickers.

But the couple look happy which is what matters. Best of luck to them. And who is that well-dressed person with a happy smile and a non-silly hat, and what have they done with Eugenie?

diddl · 20/05/2017 16:38

No idea, sorry.

The dress that I like the look of is barely visible.

pic22!!

(DM, sorry!)

anon1987 · 20/05/2017 16:41

It's ok, not particularly one that i would choose, but it suits her.

CaveMum · 20/05/2017 16:43

Pippa used to date the son of my ex-boss' best friend. Can't for the life of me think of his name but he was a cricketer from a nice upper-middle class family (his dad and my old boss were at Eton together I think). Everyone thought they would get engaged but Pippa obviously had her sights higher Wink

youarenotkiddingme · 20/05/2017 16:49

I love the dress.

Kate looks like Mary Poppins in hers surrounded by all the children! I like it but wouldn't be my choice for a bridesmaid or MoH or anything. (Was she?!)

I'm also rather impressed at how white the children's shoes and socks remained!

CricketRuntAndRashers · 20/05/2017 16:54

I actually really like KAte's dress.

Maybe not the colour, but it was a good choice imo :)

Eugenie looks beautiful and the children are adorable :) The waist does make Pippa look a bit "long", but she looks very happy.

MadisonAvenue · 20/05/2017 16:57

youarenot they won't be white once they've been sliding across the dance floor on their knees

SansaryaAgain · 20/05/2017 16:57

CaveMum, mine is that a distant cousin of mine is BFFs with Pippa and attended today. The whole Middleton clan attended her wedding some years ago and it was in the papers as Michael gave her away. Alas I lost touch with that branch of the family years ago!

CricketRuntAndRashers · 20/05/2017 16:58

Oh, and the Federers look lovely, I really like Mirka Federer's outfit :)

HerRoyalNotness · 20/05/2017 17:03

App1e. I think that blue cutout one could be self portrait. It's very similar to what they do

diddl · 20/05/2017 17:12

"Michael gave her away"

I remember that.

IIrc, the bride wore a gorgeous (imo) dress & had a bit of a look of Pippa about her!

robinia · 20/05/2017 17:19

Pippa's - so so
Kate - how old is she?
Carole and Eugenie - got it right
Mirka - nice dress and she looks beautiful but doesn't flatter her waist - is she pregnant again?
Roger - oozes class - what is the connection between him and the bride/groom?
James Matthews - looks good enough for me though older than he is

robinia · 20/05/2017 17:20

Oh - and even the Vogue fashion editor (or whatever she is) looks odd for a wedding.

millymae · 20/05/2017 17:23

Pippa looks stunning, and I love Kate's outfit but don't think it photographs particularly well at the chest. There was one photo that made her look as though she had 2 large hanging nipples.
As to a lot of the other guests - the phrase more money than sense comes to mind. IMHO some of the outfits were not at all flattering. I agree with all the favourable comments about the Federer's and Princess Eugenie and I also thought that Lady Gabriella Windsor looked fab. Some may feel her outfit was a little old for her years, but IMHO she added some class to the proceedings. As to those tartan trousers - what on earth were they thinking. Just awful IMHO
