They are probably knackered- it has been such a busy weekend.
She looked great at the wedding.

PollyPerky · 22/05/2017 16:18

oh FGS! ' Sulky' They have just done a long haul flight- okay they'd be in 1st class- but give them a break! Less than 48 hours after a party that went on till 4am. They may have had a few hours sleep in 2 days.

I think some of the people on this thread are the type who "just know" that someone is guilty of a crime after seeing them for 35 seconds on the Telly................

NoLotteryWinYet · 22/05/2017 16:38

i loved Kate's dress but her make-up was too heavy and the dress wasn't properly fitted across the chest area. Who do we think is next? Harry by the looks of it!

Softkitty2 · 22/05/2017 16:43

bertandrussell i agree totally, damned if you do damned if you don't.

Seriously some people on this thread make such ridiculous assumptions of people they don't even know.

Pippa has always been petite so I don't know how the assumption (again) that she must have been on a restrictive diet on the run up to the wedding.. Etc etc blah blah blah..

I love the lace and the dress suited her, thought they all looked beautiful.

Nice to see her looking demure for once!

I like the dress, especially the heart cut out at the back. Agree that the skirt could have perhaps been not so lacy, but its her choice so its up to her.

MadameSzyszkoBohush · 22/05/2017 17:56

I don't know anyone who looks perky or loved up in an airport queue!! Not even celebs who do PDAS/fauxmances do it in the queue for check-in/security.

Goingtobeawesome · 22/05/2017 17:58

Michael contributed £100k to Kate's wedding.

Liketoshop · 22/05/2017 18:32

How lovely to have oodles of money to spend on your wedding day! Let's hope their married life is equally as rich - in every aspect

Want2bSupermum · 22/05/2017 18:46

You should see me when I land in Manchester and that's half the distance. I'm not clicking on a DM link but I will say she probably looks a million times better than I do after flying a shorter distance. I'm often in business too these days (thank you chase for the points!). I still look like crap and don't speak to me until I've had a bucket of coffee.

Haven't RTFT but I've seen some misconceptions about the Cambridge's nanny.

Yes she's in uniform, the uniform of one of the (maybe the) most prestigious nannying college in the world. The majority of Norlanders would be proud - would actually request - to wear their ceremonial uniform for an event like this.

Why? It's not a company they work for (as a pp said), they work for the Cambridges. The uniform is not some child-care company uniform, it is in fact the equivalent of wearing your graduate gown and cap, or possibly military dress uniform, to a formal occasion.

Many Norlanders won't wear even the day-to-day uniform when out with their charges, in order to blend in and reduce any security risk.

Norland uniforms mark out graduates of a prestigious college. One of the many Norlanders we've had commented that when in ceremonial dress other guests will come and chat to them, because people are interested in the college, training, and its graduates.

I'm not a big royal fan, but it's unfair to criticise them for 'forcing her to look like staff', because that's not what's really happening here.

Whatawaytomakealiving · 22/05/2017 22:03

Pleased the wedding dress wasn't strapless but not that impressed. It is ok, nothing more.
Hated Kate's outfit, too flowy, creased from the car, drudge of a colour and just too old and mumsy, poor girl.

Rainbunny · 22/05/2017 22:09

I love it, but you have to be whippet thin to carry it off - which she is and does.

I think it was a smart choice, her wedding photo's will look good years down the line. A close family member can't bear to look at her wedding photos now, it was the 1980s and her wedding dress involved ra ra ruffles and poufy shoulders...

FuckYouLinda · 31/05/2017 13:44

Well, I hope I look as knackered as them embarking on honeymoon. It'll mean I had a damn good wedding night Grin
