The guests' outfits are mainly terrible. Not eccentric/high fashion/unique or even just safe, just awful!

Eugenie looks nice, as does the one wearing the self-portrait style dress. And there's one woman in a jumpsuit and blazer, she looks good.

I know that's a bit bitchy but come on, it's a big expensive wedding and you know there's going to be photographers etc.

Pippa's dress is great. The high neck and cap sleeves make it look modern even though it's very modest and traditional overall. The top is sort of sporty in shape and that goes well with her very toned physique.

Kate looks like the dowager aunt in some period drama. So old fashioned and drab. But she's definitely in no danger of upstaging her sister and I would guess that was a big consideration.

I think her dress is lovely and the big smile is the absolute perfect accessory for any bride. I love that photo of Kate saying 'shh' and the vicar smiling. Its so humanising.

I'm quite impressed by Kate's outfit. I think its elegant, isn't she always, but nothing to write home about. Such a hard role to dress yourself when you're such a famous sister of the bride. Not wanting to upstage, but having a natural style and enthusiasm for the event so not wanting to be dowdy either.

Whats with the little baskets that the flower girls/ page boys have, are they full of sweets or are they off on an egg hunt?

I liked Pippas dress, I usually love anything that Kate wears but not today, I think she was trying a bit too hard not to upstage her sister and ended up just looking bland

I was pleased to see that she's often just like the rest of us though, she looked demented with all those kids and gave them a good old telling off and death stare! William of course just strolled in with his brother without a care in the world while she sorted out the DC's - bloody typical!

Not sure why the nanny was in full uniform, it would have been better if she was dressed as a guest and helped out a bit more!

Disappointing not to have seen Meghan Markle but I'm sure some pictures will emerge, I'm surprised how interested I was in this today!

Just looking through the photos, Donna Air really got it so right with her outfit, demure but not frumpy.

It was all perfectly English , timeless even , although I didn't like the idea of "flower girls with baskets" . I thought they all looked lovely , better than all those dreadful Hollywood weddings surrounded by helicopters and the bride hidden under a sheet and screened off and everyone wearing a " costume".

I've only seen photos of the dress but I thought she looked lovely and as a PP said, I thought she was wearing Kate's wedding earrings!

The wedding has a Scottish theme, as the groom's family has a home there and a title that goes with the house which I am assuming is the reason for the tartan trews.

Everyone looked very relaxed and happy, looked like a lovely day.

Oh her dress is just STUNNING. Absolutely beautiful. I'm a major fan of lace wedding dresses and it is just gorgeous.

Some lovely guest outfits, but like most society weddings, some really weird guest outfits too.

Bridesmaid dresses were very sweet, pageboy outfits were awful.

I really liked Carole Middleton's outfit, but both Carole and Kate need to lay off the blusher. No-one wears it like that anymore.

Both bride and groom look very happy though, so 🤞for a long and happy marriage.

The children's baskets were filled with petals for them to scatter.

Stunning dress. She looks beautiful and chuffed to pieces.

I particularly loved the pics of Kate handling George's apparent 'moment' after the service. That's a moment every mum understands all too well.

Yeah that is not a good look elephant. I think there's a fine line between being fashion-y and looking shit, to be honest.

So many of the guests look dreadful, the photos are like the ones that get taken at Aintree before they get pissed.

I don't like all over lace dresses but I think she was a beautiful bride. She has great taste. She is tiny though. What was lovely is that it was a perfectly planned and stylish wedding but also felt like a really happy family event, a refreshing change to the celeb weddings you see most weeks in Hello or Ok.

I'm not a fan of PippaM however I think her dress is gorgeous.

Has anyone noticed how similar the little girls bridesmaids dresses are to Kate's bridemaids? They have the same gold sashes with the same pleats. Her dress is similar too. Is she trying to copy her sister?
