J-Lo Glow. I can't stop sniffing myself. Any surprise perfume successes?

I'm a bit of a perfume junkie, and I like reading perfume reviews. I kept reading about how JLo Glow was surprisingly nice, so when I went into town on Monday I got a sample strip.

Got halfway up the road from the shop and turned back. Had to buy it. Couldn't stop sniffing the strip!

It was £20! Which means I'm quite happy to splash it all over and save my 'naice' perfume for best and in the case of Joy for never - what was I thinking?

Any other surprise hits out there that I should watch for?

It's nothing original I like Polynesian island and always receive positive comments on it. I also like red musk but when I wear that people say I don't smell like me. I change my perfume like I change my knickers so not sure what my me scent is

I find Britney Spears ones good. Particularly Midnight Fantasy

I have Britney' circus fantasy and get loads of compliments. £5 from B&M.

Nor me user - I spend far too much on perfume trying to find my me scent

I've just bought the Nuxe perfume - absolutely amazing! Not too expensive either.

SJP Lovely is almost identical to Narciso Rodriguez For Her.

MumBod if you like a nice vanilla, the Zara Vanilla is lovely, and £13 a bottle. I also like their Dandelion. I wear both for work.

I used to wear J-Lo Miami Glow in the summer when I was early 20s. You've made me feel all nostalgic! Just found it on amazon for just under £11. Happy days!

SJP Lovely is almost identical to Narciso Rodriguez For Her.

They're very similar but I think SJP's is nicer tbh.

I once had a bottle of harajuku lovers, I got it on the plane coming back from Portugal about 6 years ago and I loved it. It was about £20 and it's been discontinued now.

I wear Tommy girl , I don't have a great sense of smell but people always comment on how nice I smell. It's only about £20 for a big bottle .

The original Kate Moss one is gorgeous, it smells like old school Ambre Solare suntan lotion.
Always get it cheap in TJ Hughes (which has some amazing stuff sometimes, I got Urban Decay lipsticks for £3 each).

Rihanna Rogue. I'm such a perfume snob, but I love it. Lovely combination of citrus, musk and suede.

The most expensive perfume I ever bought was a tom ford. It was gorgeous and I still have the bottle and it has a faint lingering scent. It will be a while until I can afford to treat myself like that again!

YY to Tommy Girl, a cheap classic!
Also the original Lolita Lempicka perfume in the mauve Apple shaped bottle.

I've never worn perfume (headache prone) but I walked past a lady who smelt so good I had to ask what she was wearing.

It was SJP ???? I went to the shop expecting to buy the SJP but there were a few to choose from and my nose is useless smelling those cards 😥 I might buy a bottle of the lovely and see....

Next's Paradise. £12 for 100ml. It's lush. Doesn't last all day but at that price you can splash it around a bit!

Yep, SJP's Lovely is my favourite 'cheap but beautiful' scent.

I have a So! perfume for work. £3 in Savers! It lasts all day.
I also have Britney and JLos.
The perfume parlour do a Jo Malone honeysuckle dupe that is lovely.
I'm about to do an Avon order so ill maybe try Percieve.

If you're hankering after Jo Malone of Tom Ford Scents, try the Perfume Parlour's oils. They're fantastic dupes and vvv inexpensive. I was sceptical, but someone on MN told me about them. I'm now a convert. They do other brands too. Even my brand snob DP is impressed with their tF Neroli Portofini copy.
