Catching up briefly, just the last couple of pages. Very exciting about Trinny Shop, sad the silver boots didn't work out, I love them.

I used to waitress at Henley when I was a teenager Blair, the things we got up to on the campsite . I'm sure your experience will be far more civilised!

I feel like I've lost my fashion Mojo a bit too QuuenC, think it's just the continuation of winter & not having time to transition my wardrobe. Have also put on weight over the winter so have just started shredding again in an attempt to lose it (day 4 yay). Love those black shoes

I'm off out tonight to a friend's 40th, local though. I think I'm going to wear faux leather trousers, long Cos shirt, starry &OS boots & leopard coat. Simple but am struggling with this weather.

Hope to catch up properly (when I'm zoned out hungover) tomorrow morning.

I like this dress and this dress looks like a flattering way to do the cold shoulder look. I appreciate neither of these have prints on them

It was a bit more spring like today. Wore a simple outfit of navy cord button through skirt and pale pink jumper with lace yolk/yoke (?) .

Bernice you reminded me to order! (And thanks Dream!) There was another new top on the website (here, how gorgeous?!) so I have ordered all 3 items to see which are worth keeping. With the code it was under £140! Warehouse looks so good this season, I think they have a new designer.

Bernice, the colour of that first warehouse dress is gorgeous!

I am in a very frantic period at that the moment - busy at work and home. It will calm down again in July but that seems a long way off. We had theatre tickets for the dcs this afternoon and it was news to me until the reminder popped up yesterday!

Fashion wise, it does still feel like winter doesn't it? I wore my j crew check boyfriend shirt today underneath my white company cashmere sweater, which i expected to pack away 2 months ago! The outfit looked great but weird for May!

July sounds a long way away Blingy Don't overdo it, remember you're still convalescing from your procedure. What show did you take the DC to?

Everyone I keep wanting a navy cord skirt but struggle with skirts for casual wear. I think it's because I tend to sit with my legs tucked under me & find that difficult to do in skirts or dresses.

PS I've no hangover on a Sunday for ages. I'm saving myself for a fancy lunch out today. Will be typing gibberish no doubt tonight.

Silk shirts will always be around Bloomed as they are such a classic. I prefer a silk/silk feel shirt to 100% cotton. The one you linked is lovely but oos - did you order it?

Ootd thus far is shocking - grey yoga pants, v v v old black polo and havs but my feet are cold. I'll get my coat.............

Got a call from DH at 8.30 last night who'd dropped DS off at a party saying there was an inpromtu drinks do next door....cue frantic get-out-of-pjs dry shampoo-slap-extra-make-up-on rapid transformation......thank goodness DD caught me before I left with wonky eye make up ..... These are always the best nights!

My workplace is trying to come up with a dress code policy. We've all been asked our thoughts. Made me think "professional dress" is so loose, and also what constituted professional dress a few years ago is very outdated now. When I started work in the early 90s women had to wear tights all the time, that's changed now . A lot of clothes depend on the wearer age, size etc......bit of a mine field. Need to give clear guidelines especially for very young trainees without offending anyone.

for once it has been warmer up north than in London....it's been a week of SS clothing for me .....runs away..........

Oh I run a mile from dress code policy discussions dry. Total minefield. And very tricky for young trainees who might not have much money.

I've upgraded my diagnosis from sinusitus to flu . Have felt totally lousy for last few days and I look dreadful - spotty blotchy skin and big black circles under my eyes. My new Me&Em dress arrived yesterday and I haven't been able to summon up the energy to try it on.

Poor you Liberty can you stay in bed today? Do not go to work tomorrow.

Lying on sofa dry. DH has taken DD out and is going to keep her occupied today. I definitely won't work tomorrow. Possibly will check emails from home but that's it.

Discussions on dress code can get very heated! The place I now temp from time to time (used to work) says 'business dress' with a whole list of do's and don'ts. Obviously there is a lot of interpretation of said code . My new pt job, however, I can wear what I want and I love that - it gives me an opportunity to try new outfits/combinations.

Lib you need to do nothing for a couple of days except relax and sleep. You've so busy/stressed lately it has finally caught up with you. and .

Fedup I can rival you with my earlier OOTD, primark PJ bottoms, very old & holey swetty betty yoga top, hoodie & a face mask. I've now smartened myself up & am wearing, this breton dress with these loafers Tried a natural look make up this morning. It took longer than my usual approach. IE slap it all on & hope for the best. So excited, heading off to Michelin star place for lunch. Been told is uber casual, hope I'm not underdressed.

oh no lib you poor thing, i hope you manage to rest today, flu is awful, even if it's a 'mild' dose of it. Get as much rest as you can even if it means rearranging meetings and such like this coming week. hope you feel better soon

OOTD is black opaques, black denim 'mini' shorts, a grey The Go! Team cut down tee and black cardigan with green and purple swallows at the top of the chest area. Seem to be defaulting to black and grey a lot with splashes of other colours, works for me though and I reckon i'll wear my brighter stuff when the weather warms up again
