All welcome! 😊

No hard or fast rules here, think most of us have discovered new found pleasure in the challenge of actually finishing things instead of just buying new all the time. ....not that occasional splurge don't happen!

mrsusername · 12/04/2017 14:26

I couldn't fit all my stuff in one photo 😩😩🙈🙈

IPokeBadgers · 12/04/2017 16:37

You are not alone! Grin

AnotherPinkiePieStory · 12/04/2017 20:26

Welcome mrs come share!

DragonNoodleCake · 12/04/2017 21:53

I keep nothing in boxes, not even perfume. I never leave it 'out' nothing is on show. I keep my stash under wraps in drawers and vanity tables and tubes and cupboards! I have the illusion of a minimalist home. It's is a very good illusion! Grin

Tubbybells · 13/04/2017 07:39

lillmiss if there is enough worth saving of your eyebrow compact - have a look on YouTube- I rescued a smashed benefit powder compact with surgical spirit. Smells abit but no change in product

kwick · 13/04/2017 11:07

Amazeballs progress everyone!!!

@IPokeBadgers I often keep boxes - not just for makeup but creams and the like as well... I am trying very hard not to do this anymore

Welcome @mrsusername !!!

I had planned to finish my last 2 listings on my 12 Disciples list by now but still some product left - will continue throughout the Easter weekend.

Hello ladies

Newbie on this channel. I am impressed the clearing outs and finishing up - but the problems is the recommendations. Based on this I have just splurged on Pixi products (on holiday in US and there was s big stall) including the Pixi Glow Tonic (of which I can report good things). Not the point at all! Plus will be eyeing up Clinque Vit C on return home.

Worse, I used the self-check out which speaks the price out loud Blush talk about buyer shaming... Particularly in front of DH for whom Head and Shoulders is a bit glamorous. Dollar rate not good to enough to be a bargain.

But, anyway, I hereby pledge to work on using up all my half jars, pallets, bullets, bottles and the rest, one pot at a time.

kwick · 13/04/2017 20:10

Welcome @Tablefor4 !!!

I have an empty:
-Lush it's raining men shower gel - not a huge fan of the smell - bought as a substitute for the discontinued Sad Honey bath bomb

I have another 3 empties - which I was not expecting at all!

  • Korres watercress ultra nourishing and moisturising cream: meant as a face cream I ended up using on body as just too thick
  • Body Shop skin defence spf 50 - this is light enough to go over a day cream - I will most likely repurchase
  • Stella eau de parfum - LOVE 💜💜💜💜💜 this scent and this bottle was such a handy 30ml size - fortunately had another in my stash and have noticed all my perfume stash is used up except a bottle of Body Shop perfume oil which I am really not sure about. I do not care about creating a Stella stash as it is getting harder and harder to buy... story of my life - all my fav perfumes get discontinued...

Hi table,

So as it's Easter and no work for a few days I'm going to Jamberry! I have loads.

DragonNoodleCake · 14/04/2017 10:05

Kwick I too love either discontinued or bloody expensive perfumes

mrsusername · 14/04/2017 10:41

I really need to get my head in this game! Apart from my kids my pride and joy is my make up collection 😂🙈 wish I'd never found tambeauty.com!
Although I'm actually looking at make up artist courses just need to find the motivation to do it - I live in a rural area so it would involve a lot of travelling!

woodhill · 14/04/2017 11:15

It's not surprising we all buy so much. Opened a magazine telling us to chuck out our beauty products and buy more. So tempting like a fix isn't it?

Can use upstairs shower again so dh started using one of my body shop shower gels, don't mind and I tried it too. Sick of using the aloe one but it is nearly done. Opened a hot cloth cleanser as other one is downstairs.

kwick · 14/04/2017 12:16

dragon what is jamberry? Hmm

Wow cool nails dragon
Still not finished disciples but as still have 1 on valentines list, I'm not surprised! Away for Easter so going to try to wear more make up. Eyeshadow to try is soap and glory nude one. Really lovely matte and so similar to mac quality . Stupid eye still watery after xmas infection so can't go too crazy in case 1 eye is all washed off and I look like a wild woman!
Welcome table and good work kwick. Extra Easter eggs for you!

Tablefor4 · 14/04/2017 17:18

dragon those nails are amazing, did you do them yourself?

FrustratedFrugal · 14/04/2017 17:53

I might be able to finish #5disciples by Easter but 12 - no way!

We are travelling and I did not take much with me. I am almost done with a Max Factor lipstick but seem to have lost it on the train

Trying to decide whether I will try to use up Chanel Coco Rouge Legende or Orchidee next - both are great, flattering everyday lipsticks and both have about 50 wears left.

Dragon I love your nails!

mintmagnummm · 14/04/2017 19:37

I have an empty...
My bioderma (pink lid) and already have another one to replace it Smile

DragonNoodleCake · 14/04/2017 21:17

Yes, did nails myself - took 15 mins!!

I'm on date night with DH (5 course tasting menu at the Glasshouse in Edinburgh)

I did a smokey sparkle eye - dunno if it's a bit much???

CantChoose · 14/04/2017 22:00

Ooo i love the smokey eye dragon
I've been a bit awol - aplologies. I have a bit important scary work exam next week. And I've been on holiday :D
I used up loads of the hotel toiletries while I was away but I'm not sure that counts. I only brought home the half used ones so as not to waste them, I resisted the urge to bring home the full ones too.
I've used up a mascara (Lancôme hypnose, my HG. I have one in the stash but was given a benefit they're real for my birthday that I'm using for now), a pack of face wipes and drum roll a top coat.
Have just had to do my nails without though, I don't even have one in the stash so I'll have to buy one! I tried to take a pic to show you but can't get a good light, ive used the nails inc gel effect one coat from the m&s advent calendar, I really like it but it chips easily so I tend to keep it in my bag for touch ups.

woodhill · 14/04/2017 22:02

Like your eyes Kwik

CantChoose · 14/04/2017 22:10

Oh, someone miles upthread was after a glass nail file - I have a new one in the stash that I'll probably never use, I think it was from the m&s calendar. If you want it I can easily pop it in the post for you.

DragonNoodleCake · 14/04/2017 22:12

Can't. You have the same HG mascara as me Grin - I have tried so many others in vain NOTHING comes close to Hypnose
