The bathroom shelf has been cleared, dusted, scrubbed and ... refilled a bit (lot) Blush!

However, the recycling bag is happy and I've even remembered to put it out for collection tomorrow.

Do you think I deserve some ice cream?

DragonNoodleCake · 09/04/2017 19:40

Ice cream - defo go get it! I have wine

Also photo the shelf!

woodhill · 09/04/2017 19:48

Yes, I'm going to have a Solero

plumstone · 10/04/2017 09:03

Well despite having done well using up/throwing up skin care and toiletries at home - have totally forgotten what I have in stock at DF's house. Done primarily so I don't have to lug stuff to his when I stay on holiday. Anywho today's challenge will be going through it and replacing what I need to and this week using up the dregs of what is there and writing out a list so I don't randomly buy stuff!

northerngirl71 · 10/04/2017 16:54

I have used something up !!! A bottle of Nivea lotion - now planning to wade through 3 tubs of body butter from Christmas . They should last all year Confused

ememem84 · 10/04/2017 19:12

dragon my redken all soft oil arrived at the weekend. Used it today. Love it!!!!

Also. I've pretty much "panned" one shade in my naked 2 pallet.

ememem84 · 11/04/2017 08:12

Meant to post this yesterday. I can give up on this shade now right? That's two years pretty much of continuous wear as a base. Or on its own.

I have an empty....yes to blueberries frizzy hair conditioner, already had another one in back up and have started this morn.

DragonNoodleCake · 11/04/2017 11:57

ememem84 yeay to all soft!

Double yeay to empty eye pan

FrustratedFrugal · 11/04/2017 13:00

Congrats EmEmem - you are done with that shade!

I've just hit pan on my brown brow shade. Yay! Using up what is left will take at least a year but it's great anyway.

IPokeBadgers · 11/04/2017 20:03

Quick question slightly off-topic....does anyone else keep their make up in the boxes/packaging itcame in eg foundation bottles, palettes etc still in their cardboard boxes? I do this and wondering why?!

woodhill · 11/04/2017 20:59

I finished a Clinique moisturiser today.

Did buy some B wise face cream which came with free makeup wipes which were excellent. All at £5.49.

It's the makeup that goes on forever.

ememem84 · 11/04/2017 21:05

badgers no, well if it's super pretty box maybe...

I am not buying any more make up. Or products. No more. Absolutely not.

ememem84 · 11/04/2017 21:05

My stash appears to be breeding. Eeep

Lilmisskittykat · 11/04/2017 23:21

Thanks for the warm welcome... xx

I'd like to report my empties for my first week as follows : bottle of clean and clear cleanser, bottle of shampoo and condition and a tube of sanctuary face wash.

My eyebrow set has broken into small pieces so although I'm battling on with the broken bits i might have to give in and buy a new one sooner then I hoped

Quite proud - nice sense of joy

AnotherPinkiePieStory · 12/04/2017 05:48

Well done lilmiss I love the sense of achievement.
Totally agree with make up. It lasts so long! I've always wanted a naked palette but reckon I'd get bored too quickly and it really does go on forever by the looks of things.
Managed to finish another half empty sun screen and 2 sachets so even main bathroom is being decluttered. Hoorah
badgers def a box binner here but most of my make up isn't fancy enough for boxes!

pasturesgreen · 12/04/2017 08:45

IPoke, I do! Almost all of my makeup is kept in its original boxes, they're usually pretty and act as extra protection against dust/sunlight, so why not?

IPokeBadgers · 12/04/2017 09:23

Interesting feedback about the boxes....I do it with my nice stuff (Benefit, my Dior palette) but also my No 7 foundations. I'm wondering if I have some notion of keeping my make up "nice" that actually means I don't use and enjoy it as I should, if that makes sense?

Also keep perfume in boxes but I think that is more normal.

plumstone · 12/04/2017 09:47

Never keep makeup in boxes - if I did it would never get used - I do keep perfume in boxes - read an article in Mizz Magazine (showing my age) that no matter how pretty a perfume bottle is never keep it on show - always in the box as daylight will make it go off quicker!! Full size bottles in box on dressing table/shelf and travel /handbag size in depths of handbag!!

Well once the clearcut at DFs was complete I don't think I'll ever need to buy skin care when staying at his on holiday - I clearly panic buy and have an interesting mix of, Waitrose facial oil (Pure), Nivea, Simple facial washes and some Malin and Goetz glycolic pads - I was delighted I found them lurking in drawer they are scrubby and stingy in a good way at the same time - only use one a day and there are about 40 left so reckon they are good for the rest of the year.

However big holiday purchase was the Dr Dennis Gross hylorinc moisture mask. So excited about this have been waiting for it to launch in the UK - its like chemistry mix it together and then smear onto face - it then goes rubbery and you can peel off!!!!

woodhill · 12/04/2017 10:28

Lol Miz, remember it well.

Perfume in cupboard. No boxes once I open make up. In a drawer or bag.

mrsusername · 12/04/2017 10:36

I desperately need to join you ladies! My collection is shameful 🙈
