selena when I joined the thread I too thought it was impossible but I really have made in roads into my stash and setting little milestones gives me focus and motivation.

• Skin Wisdom Dayspa gingerlily and orange shower gel - great dupe for Molton Brown but this was discontinued a LONG time ago - hence why I held on to it. But I am trying to change my ways - no more hoarding!!!!

OK, by 21st June I will have cleared 4 shelves in my bathroom IKEA whirligig thing. By this time next week I will have cleared one of them.

How do lists work kwick? Do I select a few products to use up? How many etc?

@SelenaValentina the number of items we list varies - eg we are currently on a "12 Disciples" list (as no one could manage 40 for lent) - we started this one just after 14 for Valentines.
So ladies is 15 the magic number for 21 June or should we do 21?

• Superdrug Naturally Radiant eye brightening cream - ok and not expensive

Ended up buying another shampoo and conditioner as dd wanted a hair product and she can't buy it where she lives overseas and a relative is visiting. Who wouldn't do a 3 for £10. Good to not use the same shampoo I told myself plus she requested a suncare product so buy 1 get 1.half price so I bought one for myself naturally.

A not-too-exciting empty to report: sample size Sephora eye makeup remover. I have sensitive eyes and it stung.

Have also cracked open a sample bottle of Clinique eye and lip makeup remover. It stings too! I should learn and stick to my faithful Cleanse & Polish, but this came free with purchase and I'm determined to finish it up.

I'm about to put on a face mask, also in the spirit of using stuff up. God, that needs determination!

I had a wonderful day and fab present from DH. Perfume sampling day and chance to make my own. Can't wait.
Also managed to resist Bobbi brown shop and buying anything in dutyfree spa where I was treated to a massage yesterday. Total bliss.
Have added a few things to my want-to-buy list but will have to clear space in bathroom!
Off to Legoland today so may need a few treats once I've recovered. DC being particularly bonkers.

Went a bit off radar due to packing and moving - that is all done!

Bit the bullet and ruthlessly binned what I no longer use - went through makeup and cleaned and sorted and will really, properly start to consciously wear and use.

Feel strongly cleansed because of this and weirdly lighter - so nice to see bathroom with 1 bottle of shampoo, conditioner and shower gel in the shower. On shelf: 1 toothpaste, toothbrush, and mouthwash, with contact lens solution and case. In drawer: New cetaphil, Clinique take the day off balm and Clinique Vit C cleansing powder.

Just saw a link to this thread elsewhere and thought I'd join in as a Mumsnet reading thread has helped focused my reading this might focus my beauty hoard problem!

I have about 40 nail vanishes/gel colours and drawers full of body lotions/butters, a box full of soap and goodness knows how may sachets of face masks!

Can I join please?

I am very ashamed to say that I have been on a wander at lunchtime and came back with some nip fab pads, my fourth blush, a L'Oreal extraordinaire hair oil and a new lip paint....that added to the fact that I recently have gone into Korean skincare and bought loads of products means I have loads and loads of products to finish up.

Recent empties:

1. Zenspa shower gel - lovely, will definitely buy again once I finish my other shower gels ( I got two or three as gifts at Christmas!)
2. Zenspa nourishing conditioner
3. Zenspa replenishing conditioner - neither did much for my hair.

I will soon have finished one bottle of L'Oreal extraordinaire oil and will try to use some of my other oils before I start on the new one.
I will soon have finished the awful number 7 protect and perfect serum. Hate hate hate the stuff....

My real problem is eye shadow. How I collected so many when I hardly wear any is beyond me. And blush... does any one need 3 pink blushers of nearly the same colour? Nope nope but looks like I am the exception

I did my roots before work this morning (and got a lot of dye on bathroom cabinet ) but so far am very pleased by the product/result. Much better than Superdrug one I used a while ago.

• Bioaqua Snow BB cream air cushion.... only realising now this is a BB cream... maybe that is why I did not like it!!! Anyway have another 2 BB creams in stash and five (yep you read it right!) Kiko foundations- all different. Gonna shop my stash!

Big gutted today as I tried the blush I bought yesterday and it is not a blush a all. It is so shiny (more like a peach highlighter) that I look like a pearl when I use it!!! Which means I will have to buy another one...argggghhh. Still I might use it as a neutral eye shadow, that might work.

I have just finished one of the pans in the Chanel pallete I am trying to use up!!! Pink lip gloss all gone!!!

Can I join in please? I have a couple of questions too if that's ok? Do you tend to have a couple of each item on the go and sort of choose according to your mood? E.g. Shower gels/cleansers etc? Or are you using one at a time to get it finished? Also, for normal skin should I be using face mask once or twice a week?
