Kwick and Woodhill that sounds great too!

plumstone · 28/03/2017 15:17

Cheers Frugal!

I am popping to Liberty with the intention of buying one cleanser for face washing and one balm for taking the makeup off and a shower gel. that will be it - definitely!!!!!

ememem84 · 28/03/2017 20:13

Empty! Boots soltan mousse fake tan. Slapped some tan on my pasty white legs.

Dh pulled a blinder today although increased my stash a bit. Bought me some clarins stretch mark cream and oil. And some sunscreen. He thought I'd need a treat as the preggo hiccups have started and the bump is showing a wee bit. Only a wee bit. And I got a bit freaked about how things are changing last night.

AnotherPinkiePieStory · 28/03/2017 20:15

Looking good frugal. I won't post my selfie as a snotty mess with a swollen eye. Angry

You guys rock plum and kwick I think we need badges like blood donation service. Different colours for different amounts of stash reduced.

mint I love lrp sunscreen too. My DS has to avoid sunlight to avoid reactivating his illness so he's an expert now. We use anthelios xl, a hado Labo gel one and a Tony moly mango one. Last 2 from korea or Japan so I order from eBay but worth it I think.
One more empty here (well dropped it and it broke!?!) blusher from benefit, coralista I think? Nearly there with lipsticks so yes need a new list. Any thoughts?

AnotherPinkiePieStory · 28/03/2017 20:16

That's a lovely addition to stash em. A keeper! I went crazy on pregnancy things but when you can't have gin, you gotta live somehow!

FrustratedFrugal · 28/03/2017 20:36

Wow Pinkie you are so far ahead of the rest of us.
I checked, I have finished just 3/12. Lots of products are almost empty so I will see whether I can catch up by Easter...

And amazing progress with the lipsticks Pinkie.
I hope your eye heals soon!

From my part, some really sobering stats - I have accumulated just as many new products this year as I have used up. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Mum will get to go home tomorrow, we are so happy ☀️

FrustratedFrugal · 28/03/2017 20:41

I have an empty!
Nip + Fab glycolic pads, I use these pretty sporadically for chemical exfoliation. They work well but are strong sun sensitizers, so it's time to switch to salicylic acid and daily sunscreen.

#12disciples: 4/12 gone!

ememem84 · 28/03/2017 20:54

pinkie when dh came back from nz he bought me some non alcoholic gin. He is a keeper #handsoffmydh haha!!

FiveShelties · 28/03/2017 22:36

ememem84 I had no idea you could get non alcoholic gin.

mintmagnummm · 29/03/2017 06:35

Thank you pinkie

ememem84 · 29/03/2017 06:40

five me neither. It's called seedlip spice 94. It's nice.

AnotherPinkiePieStory · 29/03/2017 07:36

em this man just gets better and better! Will look out for that (for afternoon drinking!)

plumstone · 29/03/2017 15:45

Well in anticipation I have purchased Clinique take the day off balm, got one day left of the Pixi and the new Clinique Vit C cleansing powder and moisturiser booster thing - the booster is added into normal moisturiser and the cleansing powder will replace my cetaphil as a morning cleanse - for "Brightening" purposes!!!!! Cetaphil is almost done - but this will be replaced as a second cleanse at night- I like it!

Downside is the amount of freebies I got was stupid - Brain kept saying - "say no, say no, for the love of god woman step away" - mouth did not comply with these instructions. may think that giving them to someone I know will appreciate them is the way forward!!!!

ememem84 · 29/03/2017 17:28

Used my stretch mark cream and oil today. So far no stretch marks. It's magic 😂😂😂

Used up a Molton brown shower gel. The purple flavour one.

usernameinfinito · 29/03/2017 20:30

Great progress one and all!

plum let us know how the Clinique vit c thing performs nearly bought that myself the other say

OMG @usernameinfinito you number your empties???? kwick wishes she had thought of that

Okay one empty:

  • Superdrug vit e intense moisture cream - intended for face and neck - I actually bought for my scar line on my tummy which gets irritated if not slathered in cream each day - excellent for that, lovely smell, inexpensive but also LOVELY on face. Will defo buy again - but have lots of other products from the range to try out first.

And I forgot I had another empty!! On of my 12 disciples:

  • Body Shop mineral and ginger warming mask... very disappointed, bought after Hirons recommended- did not make a dent in my blackheads - much prefer the Biore nose strips and the Korres rose peel thing.

mintmagnummm · 30/03/2017 18:35

Do any of you lovely ladies use retinol?

FrustratedFrugal · 30/03/2017 18:39

Slightly too hardcore for me, I don't. Have heard great things about it though.

kwick · 30/03/2017 19:45

Nor me @mintmagnummm - not recommended when TTC

Got to the point today where I just had to bin stuff I've had forever, rarely worn/used and always catch sight of myself in a mirror and think "that's too too much/not right for your skin tone anymore/looks crap". I've hung in to stuff because it was expensive or I used to wear it and love it but have to admit, my mid 50's skin can't take highlighter and grey eye shadow anymore. No point trying to upcycle. Bin.

woodhill · 30/03/2017 20:26

4 empties here.

Clarins body lotion full size
Clarins Cleanser " " " "
Clarins night lotion 30 ml
Laser wear Clinique free gift excellent product with SPF so goes over moisturiser without spf

Nearly finished a hand cream

FiveShelties · 30/03/2017 21:03

You are all doing sooooo well.

A 30 ml Tresemme Shampoo is empty - have no idea where it came from, it was lurking at the back.
L'Oreal Serum, which I picked up in Tesco when I saw everyone was using a serum. It was only when I got it home and put my contact lenses in that I saw it was for young skin --- by no stretch could I say I have young skin. I did like the product though and made my face feel really smooth.

Anyone recommend a good serum for 'mature' skin - OMG I am 60, how did that happen Grin
