Hush S/S 17 thoughts?

Hi, what does everyone think of the hush new season? I've ordered a few bits to try, a couple of their basic raglan l/s tops, the dungarees (not sure!) and the lightening bolt dress and shirt, just wondered if anyone else had had a look yet?

Dancer I have just returned an XS marble tee. I've returned a fair bit today.

Azalea dress arrived today. It's olive not chocolate brown but absolutely lovely. Keeping.

Also ordered the Holly cropped jeans in grey! And more underwear.

The free next day delivery isn't doing me any good at all. I keep trying stuff that I wouldn't think of!

I have free next day delivery too. Damn you lot!!! Just placed another order but no intention of keeping it all. Just thought i would add some things to my delivery for choice :)

Potted I reckon I should do ! I just totted up my spends from this new season (if I keep the 2 linen tops that are on their way) .. (over £200! eek!)

Free next day delivery is no use for me (as I am not on mainland ) but things do come in a couple of days

BTW did you know that the scent they use on their packaging comes as a room spray .. ? I posted that I was using the bags as drawer liners because they smelt so nice , and Hush replied . not with a free offer sadly (and its out of stock right now)

Holly jeans look nice but I am not going to . (I actually am rather keen on TU denim jeggings as my favourite everyday skinnies - wash well , dont bag and last for ages -and only £12.50 ) ..

I am tempted by the Hush olive harems, but wont, (I already have them in navy . grey and black.. its enough) .

So anyone gone for this outfit then ?

I am not really intending to keep much of it tbh. I ordered the dress with the bird print on it - not really sure about the print though. I also ordered the black longer shorts with the yellow band and the sloppy joe in black with the short sleeves. I ordered the pink one and loved it. That is what i intend to keep really. I sent it back because the pink was to bright on me. Oh and to try the stripey skirt. I wasnt that keen on the marina skirt from winter on me tbh, so think that is the same but was curious!!!

I love the scent. I knew that it came as a room spray and emailed them a while back to see if they had plans to make it into a perfume. They said it was in the pipeline but they couldnt get the perfume one quite the same. That was over a year ago and nothing still so not sure what is happening on that front. I am hesitant in buying the room spray as I think i may get sick of it and the thing i love about hush is the smell of the packaging!

Am I the only one who has never noticed the smell from the packaging? I dispose of the black bags out immediately. I never even thought to smell them, probably because I never got any smell to start with.

TBH I'd prefer if they used an anti crease spray.

Just had my parcel, stuck my head in the paper bag but no smell (other than a paper bag smell)! Everything feels very soft and lovely, but won't get to try it all on until I get home.

Very tempted to make the most of the offer last night but somehow resisted - I really love the white Piper dress but can't think of a darn place I would wear it

I must have no sense of smell, as I have never noticed any smell. I will check the next package very carefully

I decided to keep a top today that I had recently boxed up to return. I had put it back into the bag before putting into the box and spent more time than I should have, smelling the bag. I couldn't get any smell whatsoever from it or the top itself.

Marble maxi dress arrived today. Going straight back. Below par quality for the price, fine for £30 but not £70

At 11.59pm last night I gave into temptation and ordered three items (got the 10% discount by the skin of my teeth). They are:

The t-shirt with the large lightning bolt (in grey and rose gold, would have preferred black and white but out of stock already).

The v-neck slub tee in Calypso (love slub cotton and here's hoping the colour is as nice IRL).

A pair of earrings (never ordered their jewellery before but these look v pretty and dainty).

It's really interesting reading up on how you're all getting on with your purchases.

I'm not in the UK so by the time my parcel arrives this thread will probably have disappeared into the ether!

I agree with the marble dress. £79 for a long tee is OTT. I returned it too. Like the style but the price was just not on. I would have kept it had it been £49 or even £55 but not £79.

I agree. The variation in quality to price is strange. You can receive something and thinks it's great value and quality, then other things, you wonder how they came up with the price!

But I am a fan still

Fatrascals I have worn my hush dungarees 3 times already since buying them. I am 49. It depends upon how you style them i suppose. I just wear with a plain tee and a long cardigan and my boots. I think they look fine.

I tuck my calf boots in and probably look a bit like a farmers wife ha ha...

Martin which earrings did you order? I have both the star sets and they are lovely. I had the gold drop stars from the A/W and wore them so much, unfortunately I lost one when trying clothes in town and they were Oos by then!
