Why does he want you to stop posting on FB??
As you say I think you're FB is safe in any event!

Blackduck · 15/02/2017 05:47

Yes MrsS why does he want to stop you posting on FB? - wasn't the comparison to certain characters was it?

addle · 15/02/2017 06:57

Why does he want you to stop posting on FB, Mrs S?

No Valentine stuff this end but dd and her bf offered me a glass of prosecco before they went out for a romantic dinner in deepest, darkest SE London. DD determined to revisit where she went for her 21st as she had too much champagne on the big day to remember the food v clearly

Lovely top Rose!

WAF - I've bought Facesercise but have so far failed to fit the (extra) grimaces into my daily routine

MI - delighted about your probably regular gig and finishing draft - other people are fools if they don't interview

Thinking of all those with losses and worries but don't have anything helpful to add to wise words posted

MrsSchadenfreude · 15/02/2017 09:55

Because it is "silly" and the comments eg about him doing the washing up have clearly touched a raw nerve.

OP posts:
herbaceous · 15/02/2017 10:04

Touched a nerve, and/or revealed his shortcomings to the world?

motherinferior · 15/02/2017 10:12

Defriend and block him, so he isn't subjected to your silliness.

I am only half joking.

motherinferior · 15/02/2017 10:34

Oh ffs PLEASE NOT ANOTHER PERIOD!!!!!

bigTillyMint · 15/02/2017 10:45

Ah, that is why I never friended DH. Not that he goes on his fb hardly ever anyway!

Any gardeners with advice? I pruned the apple tree and swept up leaves yesterday - what else should I be doing?

herbaceous · 15/02/2017 11:10

My garden, BTM?

MrsSchadenfreude · 15/02/2017 11:26

I think I may just put him on restricted view.

I love the bra Rose. Especially the bright pink one. I am currently wearing my new, very cheap Curvy Kate one. Being beige, it is definitely one to be worn underneath non-revealing tops, but it fits well.

I have stopped an annoying neighbour seeing my FB posts, so that he can't explain the error of my ways in a patronising and fact-free manner.

Klaxon - I have a muscle (possibly just the one) in my stomach. Just did a Core exercise class.....I hate them but something cranked wheezily into first gear today deep down below.....TMI? Grin.

Rudy, have a lovely time.

motherinferior · 15/02/2017 12:04

LalsyStar

A 'festival list' on DD1's floor - she assures me not drawn up by her - includes 'drugs' and 'alcohol' (also 'condoms' but frankly that isn't the issue here). I had a Quick Word but presumably have to have more or perhaps I can delegate it to DP????

motherinferior · 15/02/2017 12:05

I do realise why people go to festivals, btw.

bigTillyMint · 15/02/2017 12:30

MI, is she planning to go to Reading or Latitude or another? I love that she someone actually wrote drugs and alcohol on the list in case they forgot themGrin

Herbs, you would not want me attacking your garden!

I just watched a programme about naturists on catch-up, much to DH's horror/amusement. Apparently they are dying out as young people don't fancy itGrin

motherinferior · 15/02/2017 12:42

Latitude.

I know, I do suspect those were put down as a joke!

herbaceous · 15/02/2017 13:23

Oh crepeys I feel so ill. All weird in the head, as if entirely full of snot. Voice still not really all there. I do hope it's just a cold, and that I'll feel better once it 'comes out'.

Had a lovely V Evening. We're always saying that we want to find a film 'just like Sideways', so last night we just watched Sideways. And it was great!

MrsWobble3 · 15/02/2017 15:05

MI, festival going advice for parents of teenagers ( when it's the teenagers going) that I have been given by the young people at work and freely pass on: send them with plenty of money as alcohol is far more expensive than drugs. I've never had to use this advice as mine are too wimpy and/or scared and/or spoilt to want to go. I quite fancy it but dh has put his foot down at the prospect of queuing for portaloos and his idea of a festival is rather more Bayreuth than Glastonbury.

motherinferior · 15/02/2017 15:09

I quite fancy one too, MrsW. Anyone else up for it? Got some nice releases through - not Latitude or Glastonbury but another one in Somerset of which I have forgotten the name...DP is similarly Not Keen.

motherinferior · 15/02/2017 15:10

Ah, it was Dorset, Bestival.

hattymattie · 15/02/2017 15:29

I'm not too into the idea of festivals as I like my creature comforts too much. I gather nowadays one can get a posher teepee for older people. Also I reckon the sound will not be as good as in a small concert hall. DD1 has been to a couple of festivals and hated the amount of rubbish people left everywhere plus the lack of washing facilities (she is definitely my daughter).

Have been shopping with DS - a joyless experience.

motherinferior · 15/02/2017 15:42

Ooh, friend in Paris with her daughter asks which bit is 'most like Camden' - I fear none of it but said I'd ask as it may placate her teenager who's getting sick of galleries...

Cremolafoam · 15/02/2017 16:01

Herbs, sorry you are feeling so wretched. I feel like I have passed my lurgy somehow, online.Sad

Dh ( a teenager at heart) happily took dd to Glasto 3 times. I do now question whether dh was a good parental example, given the many stories of their adventures that I hear from dd occasionally.Shock
Still it meant I was home alone ( hooray) for a week on the summer.
Dh advice is : Always bring the biggest tent you can carry , as this is your only personal space for days.Grin

Am snurking a bit at the Whitehouse shenanigans, what a shower of shites💥

hattymattie · 15/02/2017 16:05

I fear we do not have a Camden in Paris or DD2 would have discovered it by now.

Herbs - Lemsip and head down.

Has something else happened since the Flynn resignation? Everyday I wake up wondering what's going to happen next?

Cremolafoam · 15/02/2017 16:05

Belleville or Montmartre on a Sunday when there are junk markets I'd say, along the canals.

What do you say Hatty/ Mrs S

Dont think theres a directly comparable place

bigTillyMint · 15/02/2017 16:18

MI, DD has been to Reading twice and I think they are planning to go to Bestival this year. The first year (Y11) they took in a load of cider (some of it was that extra strong stuff!) And got 18+ to go out and buy them more as the security was quite tight on who they would serve. Last year they took in loads of spirits! No drugs well there was probably some weed though, as she had paid for her ticket and wasn't wanting to miss anything!

I have just been doing a practice French listening test with DS - took me right back😀 He is getting increasingly anxious about these mocks, which is not surprising - hope we can get through the next 10 days OK!
