Whilst there's still people who would be mad enough to pay 100 squids, clearly she has a market. Envy

MI That sounds like it's going very much in the right direction Smile

I have kindly and sensitively thanked DH and said I'd take the chocolates to the flat for us all to enjoy when we're all there. this and these have appeared in my inbox from R&P and is my favourite bra of the moment despite the eye watering price. Dare I link them to DH with a heavy hint about the right sort of Valentines Day present? Grin Oh la la

motherinferior · 14/02/2017 17:46

That is a really boring cushion.

Admittedly I like bright - arguably gaudy - silky or velvet cushions for that Eurasian-bordello look. But bugger me it's boring. And cries out for a careless glass of red wine.

I don't think that job I went for is even going to interview me.Sad

motherinferior · 14/02/2017 17:48

You could lounge on my cushions in those Wink

hattymattie · 14/02/2017 17:56

I could get 5 perfectly respectable cushions from Next for that! I like colourful arabic cushions.

The pink champagne is slipping down nicely.

Rose - I think I I said before I have that bra in a mid brown colour - I love it.

herbaceous · 14/02/2017 17:57

Ew. Natural linen. Is there anything more tedious?

Pondering which if these two highly romantic cards I should give dp tonight.

Lalsy · 14/02/2017 18:01

Yeah, go for it, Rose, gorgeous.

Crem, that cushion looks like an ad for envelopes (Look! Manila AND White - wow!). is she actually making proper money from them?

We never mark Valentine's Day but I have just made a cunning raid on Sainsbos to buy a cut price bottle of the fizzy stuff for another occasion. Last of the great romantics.

Cremolafoam · 14/02/2017 18:14

Ooh Jeffrey. ✔️Depends whether you are up for a jump or not Herbs.Wink
Some nice bras there Rose
Yes to Indian Bordello look. Absolutely. A Proper bloody cushion in other words.
Not a Manila envelope of a cushion.
Yes, Lalsy, she's loaded, and has swishy hair. Boke!

I have made a chilli , so hot, in tacos tonight that dh is gonna SO love me.my mettle is measured on the Scoville scale by dh. Sizzle.......Grin

Cremolafoam · 14/02/2017 18:17

I rather fear dp thinks he's going to get lucky this evening, but I really don't feel up to it. I might use Jeffrey to let him down easy.

I fear I must be very boring as I like that cushion. I'll get my coat.....

Blackduck · 14/02/2017 19:16

Dp off to choir. Woo hoo livin' the dream.

Cremolafoam · 14/02/2017 19:17

Mrs W, you are allowed to like it, but £119? On a cushion? I' ll run you 15 up for that price. Irish linen too.Grin

MrsWobble3 · 14/02/2017 19:24

I don't think I said I liked the price - just the cushion. But it wouldn't work in my house - everyone's too grubby and it would quickly become an unpleasant shade of greige I think. I think that's partly what I like about - it's unattainability.

MrsWobble3 · 14/02/2017 19:25

And may I apologise for the rogue apostrophe. I'm pretty sure it's my phone's fault given that it's/its is one of my pet pieces of pedantry

bigTillyMint · 14/02/2017 19:28

Fools and their money, Cremo. It's very beige-looking, probably too tasteful for usGrin

I like the Jeffrey one, Herbs. There were some distastefully funny ones in Paperchase - my BFF and I were laughing like drains at them whilst the DDs were cringing and saying we were being inappropriate and a man standing beside us was struggling to keep a straight face

Just watched First Dates on catch-up snuggled up with DS on the sofa Grin

motherinferior · 14/02/2017 20:00

Now that's what I call cushions. Replace cat with lounging courtesan, obvs.

Oh I love it BTM.

In S&B news ( finally adhering to the subject) I have bought these loafers with a heel . They are pleasingly bouncySmile

GiddyGiddyGoat · 14/02/2017 22:00

This is what I am resting my feet on as we speak type...

We have never done Valentine's Day since the first year of our relationship, and I was Shock at the frenzied present/card buying in Waitrose yesterday.

I also can't believe the price of those cushions.

DSis has been poorly for about 12 days with a dreadful cough, she has already had two lots of ABs; today they prescribed steroids and took bloods. Poor woman has since been sent to A&E for a suspected blood clot on the lung; she has had an injection to thin her blood and has to go back tomorrow for a scan.

DDiL and the DGC arrived unexpectedly mid afternoon as they had a power cut (a builder working at the bottom of the road had dug up and damaged the electricity cable); power was eventually restored at seven tonight.

Sorry to hear about DD's shenanigans, Stropps. Wine

BeachysSnowyWellieBoots · 14/02/2017 22:52

My Dh is fast asleep on the sofa after cooking steak for supper.

Currently sharing sofa with ddog1, apologies for linen cushions Grin

MrsSchadenfreude · 14/02/2017 23:37

I have fake fur cushions on a cow print Chaise longue. DH hates both with equal passion. He has asked me to stop posting on FB... I think I will, if he cooks dinner every night and sorts out the flat.

OP posts:
MrsSchadenfreude · 14/02/2017 23:37

As if that would ever happen.

Crem - I have those loafers in burgundy. Bouncy indeed.

Hi Rudy - welcome back (temporarily!)

Both cards very amusing, Herbs, particularly the Klimt. One I nearly bought for DH had a man and a woman talking. He says, "Which do you find more sexy - my chiselled face, or my sexy body?" She says, "Your sense of humour" Grin
