Oooh Molly, best of luck with hysterical investigations - I know what you mean about docs. Will be crossing, erm, everything for you on Friday, hope you are in and out.

Crem, maybe you should go to sleep in the day if you are not at work? You have been knocked for six and maybe sleep, sleep, sleep is needed....bloody flylady, she is up there with Anabel Karmel and her three courses of mush - wrecking lives through raising expectations.

Cloud, virtual crepey hugs coming your way but it is not the same I know. Hang on in there and give dh a good kicking.

I

Naive question...who is Flylady? Blush

There is sadness on this board today....Rudy is there anything we can do? {{{{{}}}}}
molly good luck with the procedure....no one wants to be in hospital let alone poked and prodded in private places. You'll be out the other side sooner than you think Flowers
cloud try to let the emotion come out...go with it. Don't end up like me...repressed, and knowing there will be consequences later on. dHs don't know what to do....I get way more support in that respect from my female friends, virtual and real.
crem you need rest, sunshine and good food. I'm sure anti Bs are taking their toll too. Maybe a probiotic and a multivitamin?

Is anyone suffering from the air quality at the moment. I am not an asthmatic but I am wheezing and coughing whenever I go out. The fog just won't lift. The A406 has warnings about it on the neon signs! which makes a change from the usual warnings about traffic snarl ups! So it must be bad.

IDismyname · 25/01/2017 14:05

Ignore Flylady Crem - she's not your friend (at the moment, anyway...)

Get thee to thy nearest newest dressingown!

Sounds good Rudy Grin

Lalsy · 25/01/2017 14:17

Rudy, perhaps once Friday is over you will be able to "see" next week? Crossing everything for you and ds too.

Blackduck · 25/01/2017 14:26

Hi Rudy -nopeMarch is out too as DP is in Cologne or somewhere......

Collymollypuff · 25/01/2017 15:18

Thanks for all the good wishes. I'll be thinking of you and ds too, Rudy. We should be grateful for Oscopies but they are hell. I'm glad you think a GA is the right decision, Crem. "Wibbly" doesn't begin to cover it...the last rummage hurt like feck (struggling to get enough biopsy cells while having worrying convos with the nurse). Confused

bigTillyMint · 25/01/2017 15:28

Molly glad you are still with us and good luck for Friday. I'd have gone for a GA too!

I have done 2 long meetings today (both delayed start Angry) and am off to another in half an hour. But at least I feel like I'm doing my job properly. Ish Grin

DD is at offer holder day at Brum and really likes it so far Shock Smile

hattymattie · 25/01/2017 15:33

Hello everybody - the champagne bar looks grand Mrs S - what - if we include Rudy that makes 8 of us - what time suits everybody?

MI - are you coming on the 11th or is that the date you couldn't make? I'm going to buy a jar of almond butter whilst over as not spotted it here so far.

Cloud, Crem and Rudy - sorry things are rough at the moment. ( new dressing gown always good to slob around in Crem - agree - ignore Flylady).

Rose - Flylady - is an online scheme that gives you a cleaning schedule for each day of the week and urges you to investigate corners of your kitchen that have not seen the light of day for many years. I did look at it a couple of years back and followed it a little as I am rather undisciplined with my domestic duties. Then I sort of forgot about it.

IDismyname · 25/01/2017 15:59

You should all invite Marie Kondo into your lives, and then the cleaning 'ishoo' gets a lot better (but sadly does not go away...)

Marie Kondo

Fly Lady I managed for about a week; she made me feel so demoralised. Anyway, it wasn't my sink that needed attention - it was everywhere else!

In other news, I have bought the wheelie bin in, shut the gate and locked the front door. Pyjamas are calling....

I am trying to resurrect Reasons to Be Cheerful, but am struggling. Feel free to have a go if any of you want to.

motherinferior · 25/01/2017 16:05

I'm coming to BOTH! Have postponed the other one. At times like this one needs what DD1 would call one's SquadSmile

Collymollypuff · 25/01/2017 16:05

Sad Cloud.

  1. Crepey support is available online and in RL
  2. Spring is on its way
  3. Summer comes after Spring

I am watching Dominic West and Ruth Watson in The Affair. I think it's only on Sky and past series on DVD. But it is amazing . Cannot recommend highly enough.

The Affair

MontserratCaballe · 25/01/2017 16:22

Yo squad!

Table booked at 6.30pm at Cote in Covent Garden for 13 crepes. It was then or 8pm so I went early as some of us will need to travel a bit afterwards. There is time for D and S too before we meet. Wine

Hope this is ok for everyone.

GiddyGiddyGoat · 25/01/2017 16:58

Just watched ATY on player ... I must lead a VERY dull life as it all strikes me as rather ... improbable. All that public knee trembling action - not sure I can imagine anyone I know being very enthusiastic - I know I'd be all bit "but it's coooold" and "my shoes hurt can't we get a cab?".

GiddyGiddyGoat · 25/01/2017 17:02

Bloody hell the ending was shocking.

Molly, yes I think better not to feel anything. And recover from anaesthetic quietly. Much more dignified, and no pain. I've had numerous abdominal search engines scouting about in my nethers. And been subject to a lot of difficulty, because of womb position and shape. I wish I'd been offered the GA more readily, but just had to suck it up ok most occasions. You will be fine. have you got someone to hand hold while you are getting ready. I mean I know your dh isn't great in these situations.... hope so, lovely.

Sorry about having a fly lady moment. I mean ffs . What The hell was that about? I am actually more productive in my pjs and welly boots ( make soup, feed goats, brush leaves, drag wheelie bin, compost, etc) BUT
the dr rang this afternoon and demanded my presence urgently at the surgery. After yesterday's blood test they found I was really very anaemic with very low wbc and platelets and low B12. Pernicious Anaemia apparently ( MI you will know what this is) anyhow that would account for my head being in a box this last while, and of course the tiredness and Reason I keep getting ill. So getting a big fat shot of vitamins tomorrow. In the meantime, the lovely nurse says I don't have to do the ironing.

BD I'll be very sorry if you can't make it on 25th March, but completely understand. Dh would be the same. In fact this time when I come to LDN dh may tag along. ( not to Crepey part obv)

GiddyGiddyGoat · 25/01/2017 18:06

Bloody hell Crem (seems to be an afternoon for a little light swearing). Hope that now they have found what's wrong they can sort you out. You've been poorly for aaaaages you poor thing. What is the cure?

motherinferior · 25/01/2017 18:11

Cremo.BrewFlowers

GGG, you're so right about "it's cold". I'd have to unzip my coat ffs.

Collymollypuff · 25/01/2017 18:14

Thanks for that advice, and you are so right about dh, Crem. Dh has to have regular B12 shots because of pernicious anaemia - you will feel soooooo much better when your B12 is up where it should be. Poor you. Thanks

addle · 25/01/2017 18:36

Crem and Molly Flowers

Monty - thanks so much for organising

We're back at home to tumultuous welcome. Clearly life doesn't run so smoothly without -skivvies- parents. DD said it took them three days to realise the pile of clothes on the stairs wasn't going to move on its own. Is nice though.

BTM and I planning brisk circuit of BP on Saturday afternoon. Everyone welcome

Work tomorrow. Gulp.

Cremolafoam · 25/01/2017 18:43

Oh Molly that's so good to know, thank you. Can't wait to get a jab on Friday. Hope it works like spinach for Popeye.
I know the sarf of Eng has been foggy and smoggy recently but my head has been in the same state for a while too. Apols if I have been repetitive and dull.Hmm

Thanks Squad Flowers
