Bibbity - there is Flexeffect if you are prepared to put some time in to getting your head round it/doing it. As I have my very own bedroom, I can wake up and burn ti my heart's content. Started this in November. Going well I think. B4 that, Carole Maggio's Facercise. Did that ftom last Jan to Nov. Have deffo reduced jowls and bags. And witg Flex Effect am putting some meat on cheeks. Worth a go, innit?

wordassociationfootball · 30/01/2017 14:35

Gurn not burn!

motherinferior · 30/01/2017 15:29

Oh soddit. I've just had a row on FB - not about T-p, but because apparently everyone else who goes freelance finds it a perfect balance and has plenty of work so clearly I'm just crap at my job, and I am bloody worried about work (though apparently I am in a world minority on this) and I'm also quite aware nobody will want my novel when I've finally finished it and I am just fucking fed up.

Right, sorry, as you were....

Collymollypuff · 30/01/2017 15:39

Do you want your squad to join the group and beat the fuckers them up?

I am still so grateful to you, MI, for offering to come with me to a minge-related appointment. Thanks

MontserratCaballe · 30/01/2017 16:13

MI, as you know dh found there was little doing in his field. His fellow financial hacks found it the same. Brexit has put the brakes on so many commissions. It's not you.

I have a facial flex which a pal bought me when I was 30. I might crack it open shortly. I don't think I have the discipline to do it with just a video on you tube.

hattymattie · 30/01/2017 16:31

I want to do facial yoga but only when my braces are removed. I'm wondering if speaking French helps - they seem to have good cheekbones.

motherinferior · 30/01/2017 17:25

I do realise I am probably the only one telling the truth in that group. I seem to scrabble for work ALL THE TIME.

CointreauVersial · 30/01/2017 20:45

My jaw gets plenty of exercise, but it's never occurred to me to do a workout for the rest of my face. I can wiggle my ears - that must count for something, no?

Molly - I think the main reason DSis felt better sans fibroids is because she wasn't bleeding for most of the month. But she had loads.

College interview was a bit of a waste of time. We were nearly late because I left DD1's school report by the front door, so we had to dash back and get it. DD1 was then interviewed by a complete fairy of an art teacher, who didn't seem to know what day of the week it was, let alone whether DD1 was capable of managing her subject choices. She smiled benignly, waffled on for a while about timetabling detail, and didn't once glance at the school reports we'd rushed home for. Anyway, all the boxes were ticked for an unconditional place....just the small matter of GCSEs standing in her way.

Work is dire and I am in a no win situation and don't see any way out of it.

Loved some of the placards on the march. I don't really do crowds but was with them in spirit and for part of the way en route to the bar home.

motherinferior · 30/01/2017 21:32

I was there!

BeachysSnowyWellieBoots · 30/01/2017 21:45

Dd1 marched in Brighton.... this was her placard.

Not sure it was particularly politically adept!

Looking Good, Feeling Crepe.
Lalsy · 30/01/2017 21:52

Grin Beachy. I nipped to march early (don't really like crowds, either). I liked the "I am missing Pobol y Cym for this" one.

Collymollypuff · 30/01/2017 22:09

Grin Beachy. First class. I used to watch Pobol y cym (sp) when breastfeeding the pfb.

Collymollypuff · 30/01/2017 22:09

Oh, sp was correct then...

Lalsy · 30/01/2017 22:10

Grin. Do you speak Welsh, Molly?

Cremolafoam · 30/01/2017 23:14

Well done Crepe Squad for brilliant banners Grin and marching , intended and otherwise. Mrs as. ,so sorry you feel so grim about work. We have to get you out of there!
MI, the others are lying absolutely ( about amount and regularity of work). I do thing some people live in a bubble or genuinely believe their lives are quite other than the reality. I know someone who barely touches the sides, but would swear blind she has the bestest, most excitingest life imaginable. Every aspect of it is photographed artistically on fb apparently. I know sadly, she really very unhappy.

So , missive from the Medina

Sun out and actually very warm today. Am living on sweet squeezed orange juice and strong coffee. Had a delicious dinner of bbq sardines. So far bought hammam towels ( stripy lightweight things) a basket with a sequin fish on it which I love and did actual bargaining for BlushShockGrin and some tassels. dh got a Manscarf because his neck was cold, but we will not be allowed to mention ever again when we get home. ( on mortifying grounds )
I have counted 76 mangy cats Sad. I am ShockSad by medieval poverty and the 5 year old child sleeping on her 8 year old sister outside our Riad.
Tomorrow, cultcha.

Auriga · 30/01/2017 23:47

Proud of DD's mate whose placard said 'Tweet others as you would like to be tweeted'.

We had choir, so couldn't march but believe there will be many, many more opportunities.

Have also applied to be approved as host for refugee families. No point in DM's beautiful room staying empty.

DD upset with politics teacher. Good opportunity to teach skills for dealing with difficult colleagues.

Harriet Harman's I/V in Observer brings back memories of the lecturer in Biology who offered access to the department's best electron microscope for sexual favours Shock imagine how that would go down now.

DD worried I don't support trans people. My explanation of my position may have been a little more than she bargained for Blush

Blackduck · 31/01/2017 06:16

Auriga what did you say?!?

Loving the signs.... Great one on Fb on a whiteboard - basically something like ' so many dangerous policies coming from this administration that I've had to but a reusable protest sign'

bigTillyMint · 31/01/2017 06:37

Auriga, that all sounds highly intriguing. Go you for applying to host refugeesStar

Cremo, glad you are having a good time.
There always seem to be loads of mangy cats about in poorer countries

BeachyGrin at your DD's sign!

I didn't march last night, but we talked about marching and Trump and Brexit all night at knitting.

addle · 31/01/2017 07:40

Good marching, great pics, squad! Didn't make it but am confident there will be lots more oops esp in light of this morning's news. Official opp in US needs to organise and fast, I think. Dh said last night it's like we're suddenly living in a Paul verhoeven film (total recall/starship trooper).

Enjoy your cultcha, crem. Hope yr feeling much much better. Your post neatly sums up why I've never been sure whether keen or not to go to Morocco.

Good fr you, Auriga. What is the process?

Things to be grateful for - it's definitely lighter in the morning. Am pleased to have been able to work from home yesterday as still distinctly wobbly. Discovered great new us 1950s singer songwriter called Connie converse.

Lalsy · 31/01/2017 08:13

Auriga, love the tweet placard! And how wonderful about applying to host refugees.

(and I think I may have had similar fruity discussions with dd a while ago! I keep mentioning her, but this is very good by Miranda Yardley IMO - a gender-critical transwoman who stands up politely to piles of abuse. dd thinks she is great)

On refugees, I heard last night that in Berlin, the main museums offer free entry and also some special programming/events. Has anyone heard of any of our museums or cultural organisations doing anything like that?

Lalsy · 31/01/2017 08:15

Crem, love the sound of juice coffee and sardines! Are you feeling better?

motherinferior · 31/01/2017 08:16

Anyone want to come marching again on SatSad?

CointreauVersial · 31/01/2017 08:17

I've never been on a march.

Auriga, I'm in awe. Star
