shop how lush is this colour?

queencerulean · 18/03/2017 19:56

I've really struggled for the past few weeks to do my usual weekly fantasy shopping for everyone. Fashion seems so bonkers lately. Even HN is stocking bonkers stuff, like these jeans.

shopafrolic · 18/03/2017 20:09

What colour QueenC? No link?

queencerulean · 18/03/2017 20:32

Oops, apologies, I've had too much Rose and am looking after a hot child. This jumper.

shopafrolic · 18/03/2017 20:41

Yup. That AV purple is fab this season. Hot child? Still poorly?

Longislandicetee · 18/03/2017 21:25

Oh dear QueenC, hope dc are okay. I saw this Tory Burch top and thought of you. I would love to be able to wear something like this.

The AV sweater is lovely.

Longislandicetee · 18/03/2017 21:29

I love this rag & bone off the shoulder top but I am afraid it wouldn't love me back.Grin I saw one in m&s so I might get to try it and see if they suit me. What can I say, I am drawn to them!

shopafrolic · 18/03/2017 22:10

I made that mistake last year Blingy - they don't suit me at all.
Look at the MU weather forecast! Smile

I love those tops too Bling. Need to get a new strapless bra though!

I can't do slingbacks, skinny ankles so they just fall off.

Did any one see the TopShop jeans with plastic patches? Bonkers indeed.

Hope the DC are improving QueenC

shopafrolic · 19/03/2017 09:11

Morning all - am off to the kid friendly rave today so won't be about. Can someone set up the next thread when the time comes...?

Hot child had a bad night. Awake for hours and in the end we came downstairs for a couple of those to watch postman pat. She's feeling extremely sorry for herself and I'm hoping she'll crash out at some point. Meanwhile I've just caught up on sleep and now having breakfast looking forward to reading Style. It's the men's issue. Gah.

blingy love that top

queencerulean · 19/03/2017 09:51

Bag porn instead.

Love this rockstud

queencerulean · 19/03/2017 09:52

so cute

queencerulean · 19/03/2017 10:00

no, just no

OneNightTimeMenaceStrikesBack · 19/03/2017 13:17

hope Dd is feeling better soon QueenC it's horrible when they are ill isnt and you cant do much for them Sad

had a very long wander round Camden yesterday and now i know what a £3.50 doughnut tastes like haha Grin didn't buy much apart from few comics in the comic book store that's up there. Now i know how to get there, i think i will probably go up there more often, i really like Camden

today is a boring day of washing and tidying for the most part, going out to meet Dp when he's done at the cinema, i didn't really fancy the film he's going to watch, i know it would give me nightmares just from the trailer!!

OOTD is pretty bland, dark grey distressed skinnies and a 3/4 sleeve knit in off white with dark blue anchors on it. will put on my my neon green hi top converse when i go out and burgundy suedette biker jacket. I really want in real suede but am loathe to buy one while ever i am changing shape and size even slowly. i don't want to splash out on something i'm not sure will fit for long enough to make the cost per wear worth the price

MarshaBrady · 19/03/2017 14:27

Ok lovely voguettes I feel a Spring wardrobe update coming on. Could I have some thoughts on what to buy. Feel free to say no to anything! I am going off piste with some

Blingy I love that blouse, I'm going to order, thank you! I'd like to channel this lookMaxMara blouse and trouser, but not with such wide trousers expanding but with these Raoul white trousers. But wonder if they will look cheapish with the 44% nylon?

Can I do scarves? Alexander McQueen. I am not a scarf person, but it looks so pretty. Is anyone else not able to wear scarves? And can one overcome this

Can I? suede block ballet pumps An acquired taste?

Max Mara wrong fabric? but nice?

Really like this Proenza Schouler but just too much for a top I think

to go with the silk shirt and white pants, are they a little shiny Confused

Feeling overwhelmed, if you could pick your best 2 or 3 for me I'd love it. Or yes and no them, even better

Longislandicetee · 19/03/2017 15:01

Youre welcome Marsha. I love the look you're channeling.

The <a class="break-all" href="http://go.mumsnet.com/?xs=1&id=470X1554755&url=www.theoutnet.com/en-GB/Shop/Product/Raoul/Cotton-blend-straight-leg-pants/897811?page=ProductPage&designer=Raoul&title=Cotton-blend-straight-leg-pants&pid=897811" target="_blank">Raoul white trousers - i think there is probably enough cotton in there to at least give it a try. Yes.

Not keen on the <a class="break-all" href="http://go.mumsnet.com/?xs=1&id=470X1554755&url=www.matchesfashion.com/products/Alexander-McQueen-Floral-print-silk-chiffon-scarf--1077314" target="_blank">Alexander McQueen scarf because it is the kind of thing which worn with the wrong outfit could be very quickly like Hilda OgdenGrin Having said that i think you could pull it off if you wore it with pastels or something pale. Maybe.

The <a class="break-all" href="http://go.mumsnet.com/?xs=1&id=470X1554755&url=www.matchesfashion.com/products/Mansur-Gavriel-Ballerina-suede-pumps-1063874" target="_blank">suede block ballet pumps definitely an acquired taste! See my Hilda pointGrin

<a class="break-all" href="http://go.mumsnet.com/?xs=1&id=470X1554755&url=www.matchesfashion.com/products/Max-Mara-Xiria-dress-1082840" target="_blank">Max Mara - a lot of money for viscose. No

I think the model wears the <a class="break-all" href="http://go.mumsnet.com/?xs=1&id=470X1554755&url=www.matchesfashion.com/products/Proenza-Schouler-Splatter-print-cotton-jersey-T-shirt--1073904" target="_blank">Proenza Schouler i.e. with plain denim. But having said that i can't see you in it...Don't know why. So No.

Have your other pale blue shoes died? You looked great in them. I like these ones too. Yes.

MarshaBrady · 19/03/2017 15:06

Sheet I do not want to go there! Shock Grin Ok have ordered the blouse and Raoul trousers

Longislandicetee · 19/03/2017 15:07

I told dh that i was tired so he said why don't you go and sit up in bed and relax and shop. I said "Pardon me?" He said "Shop". I said "huh?"Confused

MarshaBrady · 19/03/2017 15:08

The pale blue Rossis are still going strong (just, wore them to a garden party grr) but they are so high for work

But I love them more than the outnet ones so I won't buy more

If anyone could find me summer shoes that are not completely flat ballet flats and not sandals, that I can wear to work, I will be ever so happy.

MarshaBrady · 19/03/2017 15:09

lol why don't you believe him when he says the word shop? Grin

Longislandicetee · 19/03/2017 15:11

How long have you "known" him?! It's a trap!Grin

I think the blouse and trousers will be so lovely on you. I definitely liked the blue shoes, you know i adore the ones you have already.

MarshaBrady · 19/03/2017 15:41

haha Grin

They were both low stock so I quickly did the order. As long as the overall effect isn't one step away from a synthetic spark, could be good (the trousers, not blouse is silk)

MarshaBrady · 19/03/2017 16:01

This is when you do the oh no this is a bag thing. Ah Céline.

Still pondering on the ugly acquired taste shoes, the dress is too ££ but I love it. Have until the end of the day to decide

MNV Volume 76 - the blimey it's so cold edition
shopafrolic · 19/03/2017 16:32

I think the shoes are perfect for you Marsha - the ballet ones, not the shiny blue ones.
