Oh lucky you Blair! I think i have resigned myself to paying full price for it as I have wanted it for over a year now.

Feel very tired today. The plane journey has done me in and I am in pain too so have spent most of it lying down. The dcs have been...dcs. Over excited about the unopened presents under the Christmas tree and I just haven't had the energy to cope. Not my finest parenting day!

Oh don't beat yourself up blngy, we all have days like that.

I am wearing my Burberry trench today as it's pouring down and I still love it as much as when I bought it three years ago. It really is one of my best purchases ever.

blingy you need to look after yourself and it won't hurt the DC to spend the day watching tv and eating nothing but crisps.

Blingy coming back from holiday is tiring even when you're well, you definitely deserve a rest day.

We have started on the cocktails, just made a couple of French 75s, tasty!

Also this is random, but I got DH an Amazon Echo Dot for Christmas and yesterday we got ourselves a late present of some Philips Hue smart light bulbs. Anyone else got these?! It's so fun, can just tell it to change colour or dim or even do a rotation of colours! Feels all futuristic

I want the honey trench too. It might be my first 2017 buy. Hope Kitty gets it.

My trench is navy with a hood so a bit more casual than the classic trench.

blair you would get on with DH as he installed Hue lightbulbs in our dining room ceiling lights in our previous house.

I hated it felt like I was living in a brothel or a nightclub but he loved it. Thank God the ceiling light doesn't work here so we put it into storage.

The kids also loved playing with it!

He has also installed a kind of led strip light all along the top of our four poster bed which lights up in different kinds of white light.

Talking of Burberry made me have a look at their website and I saw this

I absolutely love it and would consider buying it if it wasn't for the massive Burberry logo on the back. WHY?! It just looks wrong!

Right ladies. I'm doing this early. This year has been absolutely lousy for me. Too much time spent in hospitals. Too many scary scenarios with DF and now DH. But what has been solid, consistent and truly fabulous are the friendships I've made on here. Thanks for being there, for being stylish, and for helping me put my armour one very day. Love you all.
