Do you pluck your own eyebrows and maintain your own fanjo?

I do, always have, but sick of looking for stray hairs every day.

Is it worth having them done professionally?

Ditto with fanjo, never had a wax. Should I?

weekly fanjo maint - myself
eyebrow maint - paid for

hoolagirl · 16/02/2007 13:15

Yes to both.
Waxing too ouch for me.

princessmel · 16/02/2007 13:15

I was thinking the same about my eyebrows this morning. Can't afford to get them waxed all the time though. And they need to grow quite a bit to be long enough to be waxed. Yuk in-between re groth.

Its so boring doing them every day. And yesterday I was trying and trying to get one pesky hair. It was annoying!!

McDreamy · 16/02/2007 13:15

Eyebrows - waxed once a onth
Fanjo - self maintenance whenever

Blu · 16/02/2007 13:15

Either I am low maintenance or have low standards....

kittylette · 16/02/2007 13:16

i wax my eyebrows myself

but tend to use a razor down there, wish i could pluck up the courage to go for a wax though!

hoolagirl · 16/02/2007 13:17

You don't have low standards, its all personal preference.

sunnywong · 16/02/2007 13:17

eyebrows myself
fanjo dh

Tortington · 16/02/2007 13:18

i have had my eyebrows waxed and it was fine apart from when they did the space between my eyebrow and hairline on my temple - that hurt. however i find it easier to do it at home and not have to make a time slot to have it done.

i like a bald fanjo - somehow and for no reason that has any erm reasoning i think its cleaner! also done at home

foxinsocks · 16/02/2007 13:18

neither

(Blu, so pleased to hear you had a good time! Have posted on your thread)

BettySpaghetti · 16/02/2007 13:20

no, I get a man in to do it for me

twinsetandpearls · 16/02/2007 13:20

eyebrows waxed monthly and I deal with upkeep with my trusty tweezermans.

Deal with fanjo myself

MamaG · 16/02/2007 13:21

eyebrows - never been plucked/waxed/threaded or ANYTHING. Iactually posted a pic of htem on here a few weeks ago for opinions

fanjo - do it myself, like a bald fanjo myself

TrinityRhino · 16/02/2007 13:22

dh does my fanjo, I used to regularly and would like to again get my eyebrow, underarms and full legs waxed professionally

OrmIrian · 16/02/2007 13:22

Eyebrows - me with tweezers.
Fanjo - DH

brimfull · 16/02/2007 13:23

lol at maintain your fanjo

mine maintains itself
eyebrows I do

cupcakesgalore · 16/02/2007 13:24

eyebrows - me (when bothered)
fanjop - too wimpish for wax - used to but can't bear the pain when preggers. Can anyone recommend an electric razor for that area - can't use creams cos too sensitive skin and normal razor lethal!

foxinsocks · 16/02/2007 13:25

omg at all your dhs maintaining your fanjos

are they tidying with scissors/razors? at the thought of ever letting my dh near my fanjo with a razor

Songbird · 16/02/2007 13:25

MamaG, well, if you go to your mum's wedding with your never-plucked Dennis Healy eyebrows, I'd say it doesn't matter what dress you wear!

clumsymum · 16/02/2007 13:29

I do my eyebrows myself, If you do them every couple of days (or whenever you see a stray hair) it only takes a couple of seconds and never needs the major job.

DH currently trims round my Fanjo, but I'm trying to get up the courage to have a major waxing done, and no-way could I do that myself.

quokka · 16/02/2007 13:33

eyebrows myself
fanjo - get done professionally, I can't believe how many of you do it yourself? I have sensitive skin so can't use creams or a razor.

sunnywong · 16/02/2007 13:34

no, no Immac not Scissors

quokka · 16/02/2007 13:34

I had a brazilian done for Valintines day

cheeryface · 16/02/2007 13:36

eyebrows - myself

fanjo - au natural
