Mrs Wobble, I hold you entirely responsible for the huge bag I have beside me from Anthropolgie (sp).... I tried on your dress, in the green, but balked at the dry clean label... but managed to bag two pairs of jeans, a top and a straight linen dress. Obviously no Christmas shopping done, but whatever!

Hello crepeys. Hope you're having a lovely time. As suspected, the amount of wine/champagne/other booze put away at lunchtime 9which went on until 6) meant I really wasn't going to be able to join you. Partly as I was a danger to myself and other road users, and partly because DP was so pissed I couldn't leave him in charge of DS. This happens pretty much every time we go out. Kind of irritating.

It must be infuriating, Herbs and worrying too. Hope you managed to enjoy the do, & that everyone who made it is having a lovely yakfest.

Hattie, Magi, Montserrat, Crem Sister will be round at lights out with a medicinal sherry cocoa.

I am in the heart of the country, playing recorder consorts & exercising bits of my brain that haven't seen any action for a while. Delightful companions, good music and no cooking or housework.

Al Murray was... His usual pro British self. Very clever man. Lots of ad lib. Was on stage with minimal props for over 2 hours. But probably wouldn't see him again.

Sad I missed the MU, but we had our oldest friends over for dinner, and we haven't seen them for aaaages. Life has been seriously getting in the way. They are close enough friends to happily watch "I'm a Celeb" with us after dinner, and they have left their DDs here for a sleepover. A nice, chilled evening.

It was a lovely night and good on BTM getting D'n'S on the HH deal - ' you don't understand - we ARE the Dark and Stormies' .... and yes food was lovely and the company even better!!!

Only downer was negotiating the rail replacement bus service ....

Ugh. Crepeys. I can't take the pace. Started drinking at 1, ended at 7. Couldn't sleep due to racing heart, and being cross at DP being comatose and fully clothed in the bed. Now filled that horrible hangover doom, and have to prepare for both a teaching session and a job interview tomorrow. Pffft.

Got some more lovely gifts yesterday, including a lifesize cardboard cutout of Buzz Aldrin. As you do.

I have had a whole night of banging heart rate, sleeplessness ( feeling shattered) appalling nightmares, when I did get over to sleep. GP thinks that actual menopause has hit and I'm feeling it with a vengeance. New hrt yet to kick in. WIBU to stay home tomorrow and recharge batteries. Feeling guilty about this. I don't know why. But you do don't you.?
