Herbs, I read the Buzz Aldrin as Buzz Lightyear Grin

Cremo, stay home if you aren't well, whatever the cause. What HRT has the GP put you on? When I foolishly tried to change to a lower dose (2 different types) I felt not right/awful and am now back on the originals and feeling more myself. Mostly Grin

Cremolafoam · 27/11/2016 17:10

Estraderm x 75. This is up 25 units.
Am completely wibbly, maybe it's the dose, maybe it's just still not enough oestrogen. I dunno.
Brain feels like a marble rolling round in a dish.Hmm

Lalsy · 27/11/2016 21:08

Crem, it sounds horrid and upsetting. Hope you get a better night tonight.

Can I just vent my spleen...that the assessor has just cancelled an hour before my teaching review assessment. Hours of work....reams of paper work and evidence....sleepless night...headache pills...Gaviscon and she's not bloody coming. Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry Angry

Rosebag · 28/11/2016 09:02

And the Boden cords don't fit...too low waisted too fat

wordassociationfootball · 28/11/2016 09:04

Oh fucknuts, Rose, that is MADDENING

motherinferior · 28/11/2016 09:15

Fucknuts indeed. I myself am v worried about my India visa as they tend to refuse me and tell me to apply for a journalist one.

Cremolafoam · 28/11/2016 09:53

Oh Rose, silly woman. Surely she will reschedule soon. I hope it's not a long drawn out thing for your sake. INFURIATING! You poor thing.

motherinferior · 28/11/2016 10:54

WIBU to buy myself a posh Hotel Chocolat advent calendar while all my fellow-inmates have cheapo Cadbury ones I'm going to do it anyway?

Blackduck · 28/11/2016 11:03

Cremo hope you are feeling better today.

I am on a days annual leave and feeling distinctly unwell. (dp says he feels rough too.....)
I am hoping it's not this horrid cold...

MrsSchadenfreude · 28/11/2016 11:28

Hell yes, MI. Get the posh chocolate!

Have day off today, DD2 is off school sick, and am waiting for call from hospital to collect DH. Currently slumped on sofa with cat.

bigTillyMint · 28/11/2016 11:32

Oh no BD - hope it isn't the one that seems to be doing the crepey rounds.

Cremo, is it a patch? I haven't tried them, but they are supposed to be good. Fingers crossed for you.

I am feeling ConfusedAngrySad as DS is finding the change (which should have made things easier for him) to a new meds plan more difficult. Oh joy. I am trying to keep calm as getting frustrated/upset/angry, etc does nobody any good. But it's soooo difficult! Still, it's a beautiful sunny day here.

GiddyGiddyGoat · 28/11/2016 11:44

Definitely MI - hide it if need be from the rest of them.
Oh BTM, what a rollercoaster, thinking of you as you take (many) deep breaths.
Why is DH at the hospital Mrs S??

Good news chezGiddy - ds2 has had an email putting him out of his protracted waiting-to-hear-if-he-has-an-interview misery. Phew, now just the next stages to survive! What is your dd applying for and where MrsW? I'll pm you as don't think ds would appreciate me saying on here and his aspirations are pretty niche!

Blackduck · 28/11/2016 11:58

Oh GGG I'm intrigued - could you PM me too :)!

BTM. Sorry to hear it hard - deep breaths...

BeachysSandyFlipFlops · 28/11/2016 12:14

Been for a lovely walk in the autumn woods this morning with a friend.... lovely and chilled. Had a shit rest of weekend with ds, but all ok ish now... not holding out much hope for mocks, exams, a levels, etc etc at the moment, so I need a new normal, a new approach to power on through!

MrsWobble3 · 28/11/2016 12:30

GGG - have replied to your pm. There is a degree of overlap and interview dates are the same - wouldn't it be funny if they met!

GiddyGiddyGoat · 28/11/2016 12:35

Very possible indeed by the sound of it!

GiddyGiddyGoat · 28/11/2016 12:38

Beachy, I'm sorry you are having to deal with a whole different set of worries and problems at the moment with your ds. Didn't mean to be insensitive posting s2's good news and I hope you didn't think it was. X

BeachysSandyFlipFlops · 28/11/2016 12:53

GGG, certainly not!

We will get there, we're just going on a different road, but I haven't been sent or written the map yet Grin

bigTillyMint · 28/11/2016 12:57

Yep Beachy, same here!

Well done to your DS, GGG. And MrsW.

Now to try ministering some TLC. Not that it's likely to work!

Cremolafoam · 28/11/2016 13:25

Yes, took day of but am diary planning at home ( or with friends cat which i am looking after today as missing my own dear departed mog)

Very sad for you both btm and Beachy. It must be so hard to have to rethink everything differently. Kind of a grieving process too i think. Am awfully sorry.Flowersthey WILL be ok.

Ggg mega congrats to dsdeux and to MasterW too. Lots to say about many things seems to be key for the interview. Fingers crossed for them both.StarStar

CointreauVersial · 28/11/2016 13:32

I like the map analogy. I think most of us suffer from faulty sat-nav on occasions....

That's a relief, GGG. Fingers crossed.

How irritating, Rose. The cancellation, I mean, not the cords (although that is also annoying). Presumably the pre-work isn't wasted, though?

Yes, MrsS, what's up with DH? You haven't decked him, have you? Wink

Same old same old, back at the coal-face of work today. I'm starting to feel a bit of pre-Christmas stress, as things always ramp up here in December, meanwhile everyone is cramming in the last of their holiday allowance, so tumbleweed blows through the office. DS has got to go into his new office for "training" three evenings this week - he's not sure if they're paying him, and is too shy to ask. They will also be giving him a 2 hour slot over Christmas Day/Boxing Day that he has to work, and I'm praying it won't stuff up our plans (he will rely on us to get him there, as there won't be any public transport).

I also spent three hours in the passenger seat on Sunday, with DS at the wheel. Hazards encountered included a horse, a police roadblock (Gatwick), a slip-road onto a dual carriageway (oops, forgot to forewarn him) and a busy carpark. There are now fingernail marks in the dashboard, and my hair is three shades greyer.

Blackduck · 28/11/2016 13:35

I have just walked mad hound again - what a lovely lovely day! And am off into town to meet ds to see 'Fantastic Beasts'.... have a list of exciting shopping to do too....(poo bags - way hey the high life :) )

Lalsy · 28/11/2016 14:14

Oh, BTM and Beachy, I am sorry the corner is not yet turned for your lovely boys and hope it is, very soon. Much crepey rooting for them.

GGG and MrsW, great news on interviews! I wonder if their niche subject(s) is dd's (currently applying for Masters in it) - if either of you have time for a PM, I am also curious!

Crepey Cord Corner - Land's End cords received, nice fabric, ridiculous shape. BUT I think I messed up sizing (US sizes) and am going to have another go.
