Mean for telling the truth? She does not look young.

brapbrap · 08/11/2016 15:18

bake off are you looking at the same picture? Not wanting to be mean to the OP but the person in the picture does have wrinkles.Look at her eyes. The cheek area is blurred in the picture but if you look closely you can see lines and there's a tell tale fullness of the face and neck.

My DM has recently retired at 60 and the OP looks similar to some of my DM's friends who take good care of themselves.

Quim, my boss asked me when we went out for team Friday drinks. I actually thought he was older but guessed a few years under to keep my job be nice. Then did the "No? Really? Wow"

My MIL does it in shops but that's actually to boast, "I'm 89 next birthday". She actually adds years on Grin

My mother says you can tell a woman's age by her hands.

No idea really - just marking my place

MardyGrave · 08/11/2016 15:21

bakeoff there's nothing wrong with being 60.

60 year old women can be attractive and fashionable, they have careers and disposable income. The lady in the picture looks like family members and colleagues I know who are approaching or on that milestone. A 60 year old in today's money isn't shopping in Edinburgh woollen mills with thick heavy spectacles.

Jess yep my party lifestyle is starting to show! My style and beauty tip is to never stand under harsh strip lights and don't dust your mirrors too well as that lends a nice soft focus to your reflection.

BestZebbie · 08/11/2016 15:25

At least mid-60s, but probably not beyond mid-70s. Definitely not 40s though! (I am mid 30s and the photo is of someone of a similar age to my parents, not to my older university-related friends).

itstheyearzero · 08/11/2016 15:25

I'm 46 and I think you are older than me. No idea how much older though!

TheFuckitBuckit · 08/11/2016 15:29

You look a similar age to my mum, she's 64 so Somewhere between 60-65.

CheesyWeez · 08/11/2016 15:31

The lady looks younger than me so I'd say 45. I have a wrinkly neck though. Is that blonde or white hair though? I think the possibly-white hair is confusing us.
My husband has a similar face-shape and is constantly thought to be younger than he really is.

MNRandom · 08/11/2016 15:31

No sign of Bertha1924. Might she be crying in a corner as she is only 24 Grin

softboiledeggs · 08/11/2016 15:32

I must be way off looking at the replies now but I would have said early forties.
