So to the poster who said I was jealous saying they should post here, no I'm not, not by any means... I'm lucky in that on mum's side of family we all look at least 10 years younger... generally. but we look after ourselves too or try to.

This sort of post generally as I said before is posted by someone wanting to validate how good she looks, attention seeking if you will. Most other forums slap you down for this - Mrs Gloss is kinder. But if you require the opinions of a few people on the internet to boost your confidence then so be it.

People always say my mum looks amazing and "so young" for her age. But I think you look younger than her and she's 56.

sorry but can see under eye bags, lines but you do look good and you have a good face/bone structure, nice hair and nice smooth skin. whatever you're doing, you look well. you have a cracking smile too.

I'd be careful of saying you look ten years younger - I know someone who insists this is the case but when I showed their photo to a couple of other people, they guessed five years older. How is much different from posting a new profile pic on FB?

Ineed my mum's neighbour who is 80 going on 50 (in looks) looks young partly down to attitude (tireless charity work, always on the go) but she gets a modern haircut, wears knee length skirts a lot (only got one pair of jeans) and always looks brilliantly put together and on trend.

My mum's other friend in her 80s she wears her hair grey but a good cut and not short but longer and wears on trend jewellery in funky colours like lime green. She also knows what suits her eg white jeans and nice tops and blazer jackets.

My mum is 75 but looks 55-60 - young looking attitude and same with clothes.
