I think you're looking fabulous!! Honestly mean it too. I honestly thought about my age 44, then closer inspection thought no perhaps 5-7 years older but that was it!

The brown doesn't exactly look younger but it does look much classier and real. I know that has to be weighed against the expense of frequent root touch ups - if you do go that way, it would be best to get it done by a really good professional to avoid a flat all one colour look.

My cagey 'older than me, but younger than friend' guess was bang on. I'd have guessed on the younger side with the brown hair. It suits you more and looks to be a better texture.

I would have said 65, so wouldn't have been far off.

I think the blonde is more striking, the brown looks a bit boring, but it depends on what type of person you are!

I think you look beautiful with both hair colours, but the brown looks more natural and you obviously feel better as a brunette so I say go back to brown. I hope you feel better soon, honestly you look fantastic for your age and you have a beautiful smile.
