Can you guess ...

How old am I?
OP posts:
OnceThereWasThisGirlWho · 08/11/2016 14:55

I actually thought around 40. I'm 31, must look haggard for my age Shock if these replies are anything to go by!

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 08/11/2016 14:56

Is the 1924 in your name a clue? That would make you 92? Confused

PosiePootlePerkins · 08/11/2016 14:58
  1. I worked it our from your dob in your usernameGrin
Oneanddone · 08/11/2016 14:58

62

MardyGrave · 08/11/2016 14:59

Come tell us op!

Badders123 · 08/11/2016 14:59

50?

EssentialHummus · 08/11/2016 14:59

48 blatant placemark

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 08/11/2016 15:00

Grin at the age-guessing apps. Mine told me (on various different days, because yes, I am that vain) that I looked anywhere between 32 and 42. I really, really resented the '42' (I am 42, but still.....how offensive)

ToastyFingers · 08/11/2016 15:00

56?

You look very beautiful, however old you are.

redshoeblueshoe · 08/11/2016 15:04

65

OohhThatsMe · 08/11/2016 15:05

I don't think MN should allow this. There's nothing to say the poster is the person in the photograph. It could be a shaming exercise.

thingsthatgoflumpinthenight · 08/11/2016 15:06

Late 40's - and I think you're a bit mad for asking on here Grin

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 08/11/2016 15:06

Regardless of age: great hair , lovely smile and beautiful eyes.

AbernathysFringe · 08/11/2016 15:06

I think people who are concerned about this being vain are just jealous - even if it were vain, does that negatively impact them? No. So why snark? On one hand people are told to feel beautiful and be confident, but woe betide anyone who is confident enough to say they like how they look.

To you OP, I say, a good looking 48? I always look at necks to make my guess.

Eightiesmate · 08/11/2016 15:07

ErrolTheDragon · 08/11/2016 15:07

oooh - if you think that, then report with your concerns.

QuimReaper · 08/11/2016 15:07

This is like that weird donkey love handles thing.

MardyGrave · 08/11/2016 15:08

You're going to have to explain the donkey love handles Quim, you've got me intrigued now

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 08/11/2016 15:09

ooh. Do you reckon it's a typical MN DIL trying to have a pop at the MIL?! Generally, they just go for the jugular, don't they?

Jackie0 · 08/11/2016 15:10

I hope this is a photo of you and you aren't playing a trick on someone.

QuimReaper · 08/11/2016 15:11

Oooh I just did a reverse image search to see if it's pinging around the internet and it doesn't seem to be.

But one of the top 10 "visually similar images" is Donald Trump! Poor OP! Grin

ItShouldHaveBeenJess · 08/11/2016 15:11

Abernath. Just popping out to buy a scarf.... Back in a mo.

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 08/11/2016 15:11

I hate this question. I've been asked this in real life and you have to say an age that is low to flatter the person but not so low that they'll think you're taking the piss. It's a minefield where a guess few years either way could really backfire Grin

TripTrapTripTrapOverTheBridge · 08/11/2016 15:11

59/60

FV45 · 08/11/2016 15:11

Well, have fewer wrinkles than me, but I think that's cos you are fuller in the face.
Looks like you've had your hair and make up done and suspect if you were not smiling and having a glint in your eye you would look more your real age.
