Tights update. I got some Calvin Klein in TKMaxx. 60 dernier, dark brown. So far so good. Great fit and I've done loads of walking today and no falling down and no sagging at ankles or behind the knees. I may have found my holy grail tights...just have to see how they wash.

I don't wear tops with slogans although do really like the Selfish Mother sweatshirts - had my dc's been much younger I probably would have bought one though. Obviously I love Markus Lupfer jumpers and am very fond of my TK Maxx gold sequin bambi jumper.

Despite my not liking frills too much, I really like your H&M knit Justa and also the one Stokey linked.

Thank goodness the fog has finally lifted here as the damp has been playing havoc with my hair; it's cold but sunny, a perfect autumn day so I'm wearing Mason scotch black skinnies, Woolvers blueberry jumper and a heather and cream scarf, Next metallic chelsea boots and shades!

afternoon all

very quiet day here just doing housework and a bit of packing of smaller things so OOTD is black tights, black cord a-line button through skirt and a 3/4 length sleeve marvel comics tee. Very casual but comfy for in the flat and warm enough that i'm not feeling the chill.

C word shopping has started in earnest here and packages are starting to arrive now so have to get it all sorted into bags for each person and stored so the cat doesnt get to them!

I love a motif, me. House of Holland have a Cher tee out this season which I am very tempted by.

Any one looked at the new 'archive by alexa' collection at m&s? I had a quick look. Nothing jumped out at me but it all seemed pretty current rather than 'from the archive'. I'm surprised they've done another one actually, as I didn't think the summer collection was a great success....

I actually bought something from it this morning - a tiger print camisole. They had it all at the Waterloo store as I was on my way in. Nice fabric and I do like a bit of animal print

OOTD is this dress, though the collar didn't work on me at all so I've altered it to a boat neck and these shoes. Plus grey Gucci scarf and black cashmere coat.

Will have proper look through it when at home, as only did a quick skim on my phone.

Your OOTD sounds very stylish amber - though your outfits always sound stylish and different from day to day, puts my boring efforts to shame!

It's my birthday next week, sadly no secret packages arriving for DH, nor are there likely to be, to be honest with all that's going on I haven't given any thought to what I want.
