I have ordered the R+B boots Fedup. They will be delivered to DH's work today (they 'll be his birthday present to me- mine is next Weds, when is yours Viva? I hope you get to celebrate even in a small way.)
I will be shopping on Saturday, so if they are not right I can look for alternatives.
It has suddenly turned cold. I wore my Pistols for the first time yesterday but realise I should have got them reheeled over the summer.
I was working on a report til 10pm last night so haven't caught up properly, so apologies for those I've missed. I'll be working late tonight and then I'll be catching the end of my book group, so another busy day and evening. I'll probably pop in later though for a quick catch-up.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes. Had a lovely night and the best aperol spritz! Wore the navy lace blouse that I bought a while ago with jeans and the burgundy velvet office shoes. Dh also surprised me with this which had also been on my wish list. V similar to the Tiffany one in shape but without the diamonds and I love it.

Have a bit of a headache now so going to have a lazy day.

OOTD is Monsoon pyjama jacket, gold Gucci belt, slim fit tuxedo trousers from Gap, flat burgundy Rockstuds, black cashmere coat, huge burgundy Faux fur stole and gold LKB Annina handbag from years ago which I don't use that often but always love when I do.

I like Kenzo - I have a bit of a thing about tigers - so have just bought this red striped polo and matching leggings. I'm not planning on wearing them together. No idea what the fit will be like but I figure I can always ebay.

That's really weird Blair as I thought I saw one on Gap on Monday night but when I looked again last night I couldn't find it! Maybe it's sold out, might try and get to a store while the 40% discount is on. Have a fab holiday.

Ladies, doing quick stop in what has been manic work schedule I have had enough this week and caught up with your links. Unfortunately I am travelling with work and not home till Fri 11th, then have to get on another plane on Sun 13th and so will not make it to MU, as I cannot fit in a trip to London on the only free day I will have next week. dry not sure if this is your style at all, as it is a full skirt but I bought a similar style from this Eliza J brand from House of Fraser a year or so ago, they are well made and good quality fabrics, flattering and super comfortable, I think it has a bit of a vintage vibe about it, so thought worth sharing, it is a more formal style than the ones others linked but they are not frumpy on.ElizaJ flared dress

Burgundy suede
It's a bargain and a lovely Burgundy shade, though not as high quality as my Muubaa suede jacket it's a keeper

If you want new Bretons I can recommend Boden sparkly Breton, I got the navy/gold and navy/black versions with some vouchers and discount which effectively meant I got one free. Nice thick fabric and the sparkle is subtle enough but different from other Bretons

viva you probably have seen the Hush star jumpers, not sparkly but just in case...

Boden children do some nice OTT Star sequin cotton tshirts, they go up to size 15/16 which might fit depending on your build?
Sorry I cannot come up with more suggestions but I have a burgundy long sleeved top with a huge sequin silver star I love (bought abroad 2 years ago so cannot link, it came from a G.Weber shop in Germany) and I have never found anything similar in UK, I love it!

DHL have just arrived with a dress I ordered from Outnet. The driver had this conversation with DH at the door....

DH: I actually married her!
Driver: ok, so can you tell her to book the return for Monday please?
DH: what return?
Driver: She will return this. Tell her Monday would be best day for me to collect
DH: do you know what's in here or something?
Driver: she returns everything she orders from these people
DH: she might keep this one...
Driver: She won't. She never does. Now please give her the message about Monday.

And guess what, the driver is right it's going back...

soyyo it's a shame you won't be able to make the meet up, it would have been nice to meet you. Glad you like the sparkly Bretons. I do think boden Bretons are pretty good value. The suede jacket is nice too.
