Blingy fabulous bracelet and to 18 watches. I have one - that doesn't work. I'm not keen on wearing a watch and in the days before mobile phones, would keep one in my bag rather than on the wrist.

I had planned a shopping trip for next weekend but a deadline has been moved forward, so I will have to see how much work I get done this week. Top of my list is a pair of tan knee-high boots (will link possibilities in a minute).

Clarks but will need to see them irl as I am not sure of the two-tone.

R&B nice but twice the price of the Clarks ones, would have to order online as we don't have a local stockist.

Consequence of deadline moving forward, combined with DCs coming home next weekend rather than the following one, for my birthday, is that I can come to the mu! Feeling very excited (and what will I wear??)

Yes my drama queen DD was placated with hot chocolate!! She probably will remember it when she's 70, she has a freakishly good memory regularly reminding us about things that happened when she was 2 or 3.

I prefer the clarkes boots Topaz , I think it's the higher heel on the R&B that's putting me off slightly. Really pleased you're coming to the MU - have you booked your train ticket?

I've just watch Strictly results show and noticed Claudia W wearing red lipstick-I liked her in it although she does rock the dark eye pale lips look. After the red lipstick chat yesterday, I dug out mine today (Estée Lauder something or other); I hardly ever wear it as it feels too bright but it looked good with the red funnel neck jumper I wore.

Two OOTDs today as was WFH then went to Halloween party with kids.

1. Red/black checked shirt (M&S boys age 12, love this and fits like a glove), indigo skinnies (Gap), gold Reebok classics.

1. Black merino crew neck (Gap), black twisted jersey skirt (A Wang), opaques, black Lowlands, cat ears and tail.

Bought this today - colour more pinkish grey. Super soft and great for layering.

For anyone else like me who doesn't suit a heavy eyeliner someone gave me a tip recently to lift up your eyelid and just fill in the gaps along your top lashline from underneath. Looks subtle but really effective.

Not good news on the trench; it is enormous. I'd say it would fit a size 14 and I think you're the same size as me, maybe smaller justa? I'll put a pic on Pin but I don't think it'll fit you either :( (I'm a 10, the coat is a FR38 and supposedly true to size, which it isn't at all, maybe that's how it ended up on the outnet because it didn't pass quality standards!)

We had loads of trick or treaters last night - head to FB if you want to see my Halloween parenting fail
Heading to London tomorrow to get my hair done - fancy a change so will report back what I go for. Then Christine & The Queens gig on Thursday, lunch with DM & DF on my birthday and school fireworks display that evening. More fireworks on Saturday night and lunch with friends Sunday. A week of fun. Must get outfit planning.
