Morning all - is she still with him? I had hoped that might have been a phase. She's done an awesome cleanser video this morning - she really seems to research her stuff well. Her French Pharmacie post was good too.....
So Lara the jacket is here. I am waiting to hear back from a few Voguettes but I love it. It is still a little big on the shoulders but I think that is the style as it I sized down any further it would be no good at the hip. I tried it with an oversized roll neck and also a breton - unless anyone says otherwise I'll be keeping it so thank you so so much for finding it and for the code.

BerniceBobsHerHair · 02/12/2016 16:51

Good news about the jacket Shop

Btw where are you all seeing WIT? I thought she was blogging no more.

And lol at Mara reining in her inner WIT.

My hunt for leopard print footwear continues, and I got these boots from Next...but would the pattern mismatch annoy you?

MN Vogue Vol. 74
Drywhitethanks · 02/12/2016 18:42

Bernice it wouldn't bother me, but, if you're aware of it now it will annoy you a lot going forward. I guess you need to balance cost v perfection. I bought ASOS I think leopard pointy flats a couple of years ago, so cheap I bought 2 pairs. Print doesn't match but I live with it and have worn loads. If I'd paid £££ I'd have been fussier.

Off to works Xmas do now ....pre party party Xmas Grin hope my secret Santa goes down well I got boss we open on the night, may have to hide under table at that point may not have job tomorrow . Wearing LBD again new Bare Minerals make up, Carvella Kross stilletoes and animal print bag, big gold necklace better than it sounds

Dreamqueen · 02/12/2016 19:13

No style or beauty to report but I'd fallen off the thread and want to get back on.
Haven't read for a few days so going to catch up now.

Longislandicetee · 02/12/2016 21:36

Evening all! Hope you're enjoying your holiday Dream.

Bernice I didn't realise the mismatch without a good look, though is one boot slightly darker than the other?

We are beginning to get ready for Christmas chez Blingy. Behind door number 2 of my advent calendar was Duelle Diptyque perfume. It's an oriental spicy smell which is lovely. So i have been burning the candle from yesterday and wearing tonight's perfume while listening to Christmas music and wearing a Christmas jumper. Xmas Grin

For some mad reason i decided we were going to have multiple trees this year so we have just done tree number 1 in our kitchen/breakfast room. The plan was for me to direct operatioms but of course the kids want mummy to join in as normal. Bad idea for my leg! Xmas Hmm

shopafrolic · 02/12/2016 21:40

I just ordered this dress. I think I'm having a midlife crisis. Grin

MarshaBrady · 02/12/2016 21:48

I actually really like that

MarshaBrady · 02/12/2016 21:48

But for some reason think it would suit a brunette more, than it would me, perhaps it's the model.

Longislandicetee · 02/12/2016 22:00

oh I love that!!! That's exactly the kind of dress I have been searching for! Wonder if it would suit me?

Wont have your legs in it though...Xmas Envy

AmberNectarine · 02/12/2016 22:19

marsha you've seen that dress before on FB. It's lovely.

I took delivery of a very short Self Portrait number. After saying I wasn't going to buy any more party dresses (especially short and black), I have bought six, five of which are short and black

shopafrolic · 02/12/2016 22:25

Amber any idea if FB person knows if it is TTS?

shopafrolic · 02/12/2016 22:27

Am off out next week for cocktails and they all have new shiny outfits - CPW will be rubbish but we have a party here on the 23rd too so could wear it again then (even though the same girls will be at that....).

MarshaBrady · 02/12/2016 22:30

I've got a gap for the drinks I've got coming up. The Marant dress is too summery and I don't feel I've got anything else! How is that possible. Really should get something. I love that dress but I think it won't look right on me, need something else.

Amber I must have loved it then too. btw good shopping!

MarshaBrady · 02/12/2016 22:31

Actually the Lanvin could do with a whirl due to CPW and new crowd reasons, might be a bit dressy but could be ok

Longislandicetee · 02/12/2016 22:39

Bugger!! Bugger!! Bugger!! Followed Shops link then decided to check if John Lewis had it. By the time I finished fannying around there, I went back to the warehouse website and size 6 was out of stock.Xmas Sad

Lurkers, i am sure you're all lovely people but you owe me a dress now!!

MarshaBrady · 02/12/2016 23:00

Bugger indeed!

MarshaBrady · 02/12/2016 23:05

I have something to say that has been on my mind (not really). I think I prefer Matches online to NaP online. I still like the delivery from both (when I actually order something from there).

I feel strange saying that, may take it back.

Still love Liberty but store only even though it's hard to find stuff in there.

QueenCobalt · 02/12/2016 23:35

Hello all, posting, slightly tipsy from a London hotel room now enjoying a cup of Tea!!
shop that dress is fab. Will you wear bare legs? And what shoes?
bernice they look the same to me blames champagne and gin

I may have a fashion crisis tomorrow night as wearing a Whistles dress that I bought ages ago specifically for this occasion but it's fairly tight and cobalt blue . Will need booze to feel confident I think.

libertydoddle · 03/12/2016 07:50

Oh that's annoying Blingy.

Marsha I think Matches online is better too. Better styling, I really like the feature where the available sizes come up when you are just scrolling over items so you don't have to click onto the item to see if your size is there. The boxes are gorgeous and it feels like a better edit of collections than NaP.

QueenC you will rock the dress I am sure.

Bernice boots look great. You have to look to see the difference so I don't think anyone else would see it. That said I once ordered 4 pairs of a pair of M&S snakeskin pattern shoe before I was happy with the 'matchiness' Grin

AmberNectarine · 03/12/2016 08:45

I had fab CS in store from Matches this week. Prosecco, arm loads of dresses to try on etc. They know me in there though!

I believe that dress is TTS. Warehouse not wildly generous IME.

maradesbois · 03/12/2016 09:15

Morning!

Shop love your party dress, will really suit you. I say enjoy it and wear to both events, am planning to wear my black velvet number to several parties in December.

Marsha yes, definitely bring out the Lanvin!

QueenC enjoy your London weekend, sure you'll look amazing in your cobalt dress.

I rarely shop at Matches so don't have a history for vouchers etc but agree much more carefully curated than nap which seems so big business. Being family run they will have tighter control.

Blingy love, love the sound of your Christmas prep. Was at an event last night without heating, so cold I couldn't feel my feet and was thinking wistfully about you sitting by the fire with diptyque scent in the air!

Bernice I can't tell where the boots don't match either. They look good in the pic.

I ordered the redvalentino white shirt that I linked for my £250 spend. Not sure it will suit but wanted to try the high collar Victorian look. They do lovely silk blouses, thought of you for this one justa.

Going to buy our Christmas tree today, know its still early but we are feeling festive! Also going shopping but nice shopping, not stressful, doing hampers at fortnum & mason and bookshops. Argos can wait until next week! And btw dry can well believe that you make your mmf christmas jumper look chic.

QueenCobalt · 03/12/2016 09:17

So, I've got the chance to spend £250 (anniversary present). Heading to Coach and Selfridges....

Merriboo · 03/12/2016 10:06

Blingy it's back in stock in a 6! Low stock though, so be quick 😊
Oh and me a 6?? I wish! 😂

Longislandicetee · 03/12/2016 14:34

Oh well done Meriboo! Thank you!! They still had a 6,so its winging its way to me. Given my current ill health we won't be going to many parties but we are hosting one, which I refuse to cancel as at least in my own home I can host from a comfortable sofa!

QueenC can't wait to see what you get. Lovely MrQueenC!

Mara, poor you, freezing cold events not my idea of fun. Hope tonight is much more fun.

So day 3 of Christmas chez Blingy. More Christmas music, another Christmas jumper and as am having a little rest in bed, burning a jasmine candle in my bedroom. The kids have started decorating the hallway and dh has started putting the lights out. Poor dh realised a long time ago it was just easier to give in and go with the flowGrin.

FedupNagging · 03/12/2016 17:47

Love your advent calendar pics Blingy. Today my gift was wrinkle filler Hmm won't take me long to get through that little tube

Hope you're enjoying your weekend Queen; can't wait to see what you buy.

Fab boots Bernice and no I don't think the pattern would annoy me too much especially at that price point. I tried those boots on but went for the metallic Chelsea boots instead - still think about them though!

There's nothing like a bit of sparkle for the christmas season Shop and with your long legs you'll look amazing. Off to check out the jacket in a minute.

I'm about to order this metallic top but not worn KM before so wondering what the sizing is like? I think they may be on the small side?
