Oh yes I want the liquid yoga stuff!

Went into matches 'for a look'. Whoops! In my defence, I have been looking for dressy black flats...

AmberNectarine · 30/11/2016 13:02

Also bought two Artis brushes in Space NK.

shopafrolic · 30/11/2016 13:11

Finding it hard to write my list of treats:
£25 - Elizabeth Arden all over Miracle Oil (£29)
£50 - Jane Scrivner Cleansing Balm or Hourglass Seamless Finish Foundation brush
£100 - Rockins skinny scarf
£250 - I have to say the IM Garron jacket
£500 - 50/50s

shopafrolic · 30/11/2016 13:12

Let me know how you find the Artis brushes Amber - they looked good on Trinny's make up video

MarshaBrady · 30/11/2016 20:22

Finding it a bit hard as I haven't thought about shopping for a bit

£25 - a new type of eyeshadow, maybe Chanel. I never wear it but a friend had some sort of clear sparkly one and I really liked it
£50 - a new tshirt, probably on sale
£100 - hmm tricky, might also be something in the sale from Liberty
£250 - Lanvin flats on sale
£500 - knee high boots, not sure which

that really did focus the mind, good question!

MarshaBrady · 30/11/2016 20:27

Mara beautiful bag, really something, what a gift

Lib lovely question, I am intrigued by the answers

Kitty I love the sound of the MaxMara, I should investigate. Actually I'm going to add it to the list. I'd really like a classic coat with a waist tie. Although not sure it's quite me, there'd have to be a slight edge to it

Blingy yes that is ah a good price for a chemise! It is lovely though

Everyone have a lovely time in Paris, nice time of year to go.

As an aside I actually do love this weather, love the cold when it's pre-Christmas

FedupNagging · 30/11/2016 21:13

Great question Shop; have had a quick think and here is my list:

£25 - chanel lipstick in Marie colourway
£50 - Navy leather gloves - cashmere lined if poss
£100 - Jo Loves perfume
£250 - Hermes wrap bracelet
£500 - boots or bag - can't decide which - need more time!

Enjoy Paris Everyone

Hope you get the jacket tomorrow Shop - great picks from Lara

So I think we're following on from Blair's run of back luck Hmm so far this week the oven and extractor fan have gone kaput, the roof appears to be leaking and ds3 is on crutches. And the place at which I'm working STILL has no heating. Grrrrrr. Am about to open Wine and catch up with the jungle.

OP posts:
FedupNagging · 30/11/2016 21:20

Oh and I agree with you Marsha about the weather - the countryside looked stunning around here yesterday and today.

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 30/11/2016 21:36

Oh no fedup how miserable! Can the oven be fixed - ours broke last year and DH just replaced the element. How long are you at the freezing cold place? Brew and Wine for you.

Beautiful flats Amber! WIT says flats are the thing to wear with a party dress this season. I think I might order the Monsoon dress.

Have fun Everyone.

Dream hope you're having a good time.

My gift list:
£25 - Chanel lipstick in Passion (I sense a theme)
£50 - A black leather waist belt
£100 - Leather gloves from J crew
£250 (and a bit) - Monica Vinader Riva drop earrings
£500 - A pearl necklace

Drywhitethanks · 30/11/2016 21:38

A friend was wearing this blouse on Saturday, looked stunning, can't get it out of my mind......absolutely divine.
I'll have it as my £250 pressie please

Drywhitethanks · 30/11/2016 21:42

Gosh this is lovely too

libertydoddle · 30/11/2016 22:50

I'll take your word for it about the blouse Dry but all I could think when I opened that link was 'put a bra on'!!!

Love those earrings Blair. These lists are very tempting...

Fedup sounds miserable, especially no heating at work. What happened to DS3?

Beautiful flats Amber, I keep thinking I need some evening flats but never seem to see any I like at a price I'm prepared to pay - maybe in the sales.

I'm getting very annoyed about on-line shopping. have been waiting almost 3 weeks for a White Company delivery, over a week for some Gap stuff and over a week for some jeans I ordered for DH. Anyone else experiencing delays? Particularly pissed off with WC as I want the items for gifts for people I am seeing next week. Did a flurry of annoyed emails this evening.

Drywhitethanks · 30/11/2016 22:55

She had a camisole underneath it, believe me it looked fab......n boobs on show, not in my village! Grin

AdoraBell · 30/11/2016 23:11

Grin I also thought blouse was a tad risqué.

DH is buying me a Jeager cowl neck sweater for Christmas, dark blue, will post pic.

Liberty most of my orders - for DDs- have arrived quickly, although Hawes and Curtis are having trouble with one item so are holding the order while they try to source it. Emailed today and had an answer giving me options to wait, choose an alternative or refund, within about 20 mins. Very good service 👍

maradesbois · 30/11/2016 23:39

lib I'm annoyed about late deliveries too, still don't have ds's Lego advent calendar from rubbish Amazon even though I ordered it last Friday Sad.

Great question, here are mine:
£25 Aesop hand cream
£50 byredo fleur fantôme candle
£100 jeans
£250 red Valentino white shirt
£500 APC Iris boots

Was glad to think about something other than 🐭 for a moment. Haven't seen it today but am on edge and keep thinking I hear scurrying!

Off to watch final episode of the missing, such a good series.

justasecond · 30/11/2016 23:52

Hi everyone
so much to catch up on. Have been super busy, am at a bit of a crossroads atm with a big financial decision to make so need distraction!

Mara gorgeous bag its such a classic and beautiful piece can see it going nicely with your style as blingy says. Love the equipment shirt too, i am very tempted myself but only a large left!
blingy very pretty chemise you prob won't get much wear out of it though Grin
blair hope that is the end of your house woes and you are all toasty and warm.
fed up your poor ds, hope the oven and roof get sorted soon
shop hope the IM jacket fits!
everyone enjoy your paris trip, outfit sounds great
marsha I am after a black coat too. I have had my eye on this Joseph one for a while and finally tried it on at the weekend. I wanted to check my size so I could sale stalk it but iIt was sooo heavy, my poor shoulders were crushed just having it on a few mins.

Here are my gift choices
£25 - Nars Auadacious lipstick
£50 - eyeshadows set of some sort. I rarely wear it but would be nice for special occaisons
£100 -and a bit more Tom ford oud fleur perfume
£250 clutch bag maybe Clare Vivier
£500 - APC trench or Gucci marmont loafers
must get to bed now!

Drywhitethanks · 01/12/2016 06:47

Happy 1st December everyone !
And you know what happens today?
I wear my first Christmas jumper Grin

shopafrolic · 01/12/2016 08:17

Mara what did you think of the Missing - I thought it ended well. V impressed. Hope the mice are long gone.
Loving all these links (some may be going on my Christmas list!)
Enjoy your day Dry - don't crackle too much and don't stand near any naked flames.

maradesbois · 01/12/2016 09:02

Morning!

Saw this Jeff Koons giant jewel sculpture and thought of you Blingy Grin

Thought it was good Shop, nice balance of satisfaction of providing explanation and leaving other things open - trying to be vague and not spoil!

Nice day planned today, meeting dh for lunch in town then doing some Christmas shopping, am going to show him the red Burberry coat.

Dry 'tis the season Smile. Make sure you follow Shop's health and safety advice. That reminds me I must rein in my inner WIT and look out the one I bought ds from sainsbo's - 100% plastic fabric plus added flashing lights and sound effects, dry would heartily approve.

Everyonelovessparkles · 01/12/2016 11:31

lib my deliveries haven't been too bad but am still waiting for my fossil bag which was supposed to have been shipped last week. If it doesn't come today, I'll chase it.

mara sounds like you have a lovely day planned. Hope the 🐭 Has moved on. I had them in my london flat and it was horrible. Mouseman told me that they can fit through a gap the width of a pencil so try and fill or cover any obvious holes. Love the bling sculpture Grin

Bad luck fedup. Hope the oven gets sorted. At least it's not Christmas Eve - this would be my worst nightmare.

dry I'm sure I saw a photo of some z lister celebrity in that blouse the other week, but they weren't wearing a bra..... Grin at lib's comment though

Am looking forward to catching up on the missing tonight. So far I think it's been pretty good. Even though the jumping between time periods can be a bit confusing, the story seems a bit more coherent than in the previous series.

Paris trip was a total waste of time. Seminar was dreadful. Though it was nice to catch up with colleagues and we had a dinner cruise down the seine, which wasnt too bad.

My present list would be :
£25 naked pallet basic
£50 (+ abit) Swarovski plaited stardust bracelet
£100 Swarovski freedom bangle
£250 jimmy choo romy pumps
£500 probably a bag of some sort!

Everyonelovessparkles · 01/12/2016 11:47

Don't know where I got the idea romy pumps were £250 Blush probably in my dreams! Grin

Will have to swap my £250 present for some kind of bag and the £500 present as my romy pumps!!

HappyGirlNow · 01/12/2016 12:27

Absolutely love the Self-Portrait dress you linked to lib

These earrings arrived today.. not sure really need to try them in, but then I can't return if I don't like them... decisions...

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 01/12/2016 12:37

Enjoy your day mara :)

Made a few buys...
Gold midi skirt absolutely swamped me, had to order a 12 which was way too big. Realised I will never suit these skirts!
The aforementioned Monsoon dress
Statement earrings to wear around Christmas to jazz up outfits
I was trying to hunt for nice tops with a bit of embellishment or sparkle but couldn't find a single one I liked enough, so earrings it is. (At ILs for Xmas, and MIL/SIL always have an abundance of festive tops, but I will just tell myself the earrings are uber stylish and wear red lipstick)
