I can't use touche éclat Dry - I always get infections around my eyes. Plus I hate the way it photographs.

Longislandicetee · 25/11/2016 07:58

Oh that's a good tip Dry thank you!! I am finally leaving the house this afternoon (only to go to hospital) and worried about how I will manoeuvre about.

Dh just left for work. He said he was worried..... it's black Friday and I am bored in bed with access to the Internet. Cheeky fecker

libertydoddle · 25/11/2016 08:53
Grin

Happy those YSL bags are absolutely beautiful but when are you going to use them all?

I feel very messy today. Am carrying 2 heavy bags and seem to have multiple layers that I keep having to put on and take off between journey stages - you know that freezing as you walk along but then roasting on the train feeling Confused

BlairWaldorfLovesShopping · 25/11/2016 09:29

Morning!

It's tonight for the heating, can't wait Grin Our house is 17 degrees downstairs which isn't too bad. But really want a bath, and I never have baths!

Dry I'm far from a makeup expert, but commenting because I have the Becca product - I think it's a corrector whereas Touche Eclat is more of a highlighter. It's quite thick and creamy, you sort of pat a tiny bit on.

I went to a Thanksgiving dinner last night! My cousin married an American girl and they live quite near us. All the food was lovely.

I feel a bit overwhelmed by Black Friday. I think I'll do some Christmas shopping but I had also thought about hitting the shops tomorrow if deals will still be on...

Blingy hope moving is getting easier for you. Definitely bling up the crutches :)

Any news on house offer Amber?

shopafrolic · 25/11/2016 09:58

Morning all.
Happy how many YSL bags do you own now?! Beautiful - your bag collection is enough to compete with Blingy's
I'm a bit overwhelmed by Black Friday - too much noise comes with it. 78 emails this morning - too much. And I'm not organised enough with Christmas shopping yet to know what I really need. I could have killed my smug FB friend yesterday when she posted that all her presents were bought and wrapped.
Still loving the Hourglass stuff - very very impressed - will be putting more on my Christmas wishlist.
Amber hope house news is positive
Blair 17 degrees is baltic - glad you're finally getting it fixed.
Blingy hope you're starting to feel better - I do get where MrBlingy is coming from........

Stokey · 25/11/2016 10:45

My house was 17 degrees this morning after the heating had been on for two hours Hope you get your heating fixed though.

Swoon at your bag collection Happy.

Love those PJs for mini Lib, I normally get Gap ones for my girls but they've put the price up by a tenner this year, so I feel a bit resentful paying that, even with the discount they're still £18. I was thinking of the two in one Boden ones, but those are far cuter.

I've been totally mugged by Black Friday & had a sudden desire to buy a console so the girls could play Just Dance. (un) Fortunately all the deals seem to be catered towards males so they're all Fifa, & various shooting & driving games, feel like the shops are missing a trick.

Outnet clearance is on too - don't know what I need/want - maybe jeans or boots.

shopafrolic · 25/11/2016 10:54

Stokey we bought a console recently - Xbox One with Call of Duty. No interest in playing COD in this house so I sold the game on a local selling site for £35 (it's over £45 new I think) and then used that cash to get games for DS......

shopafrolic · 25/11/2016 10:55

You need to just make sure you are buying a console with the physical game CD and not with an online code.....

Stokey · 25/11/2016 11:13

ah good idea Shop - I knew I could count on the professional Grin

HappyGirlNow · 25/11/2016 11:30

Just creating my social life around them lib Grin

That's me for a while! Just couldn't say no to that 25% discount Wink

En route to Birmingham with DH and another couple, our annual jaunt to the motorbike show at the NEC. Lovely tapas restaurant booked for tonight. Brought my leapord print YSL for tonight.

I have 7 Saint Laurents I think Grin and 2 Lanvins and 3 Gucci

libertydoddle · 25/11/2016 12:14

Yep Blingy has competition there alright happy!!! Your weekend sounds like fun and amber had that leopard YSL at the last MU and it is a beaut!

'just dance' is a good idea Stokey. I am struggling with ideas for DD. The Boden PJ's are very soft and comfy so I would recommend them.

Shop what console did you buy?

One item on Outnet clearance I am dithering over...will link if I go for it. Bastard DHL man is a factor though Grin

libertydoddle · 25/11/2016 12:15

Sorry shop just read back and saw you got Xbox.

HappyGirlNow · 25/11/2016 12:16

Oh and 2 Chloe Blush

HappyGirlNow · 25/11/2016 12:16

Yes love the leopard print lib Grin

Longislandicetee · 25/11/2016 12:29

Don't dither Lib, I have lost out on 2 dresses this morning. but not 3 others

Stokey · 25/11/2016 12:50

I'm a bit stuck for my 7 year old too Lib. She has no idea what she wants, mainly because we have cancelled our Nick Jr package so she hasn't seen any adverts this year! We already have Playmobil and Sylvanian Families that are hardly played with so seems a bit pointless to buy more.
She got some money for her birthday and just spent it on colouring books and Claire's Accesories tat.
Dd2 is getting a new (well 2ndhand) bike as she's outgrown her old one. She slao wants a ukelele.

The fairy PJs are lovely but not in Dd1s size grrr. If i get them for Dd2 she'll be jealous. I may get her the fairy nightie - oh it's all so confusing - I need a spreadsheet or fewer daughters.

I've spent all morning faffing around on t'internet and have bought nothing.

QueenCobalt · 25/11/2016 14:23

Oh, I think just dance is the Xbox game I want. Is the one where you compete against each other?

Slightly underwhelmed by Black Friday. Have been looking at washing machines but no great discounts and as I'm still dithering what I want I'll leave it for now. John Lewis had 10% off LM stuff so have bought the candlelight powder and just used dh credit card to order primer and brushes for Xmas. Gap had 50% off everything in store. Nearly bought jeans but decided I don't need them right now and couldn't be arsed to try on as I usually get discounts of 40% anyway.

AmberNectarine · 25/11/2016 14:56

I have bought a recycling bin, some candles and diffusers and some storage boxes. Anyone would think I'm trying to sell a house!

I did also get some sneaky bargain Botox at the ideal home Xmas show yesterday - £100 though! Great doctor as well, very light touch.

Lots of parcels arriving for DH. I am shamelessly looking at the sender labels.

VeryPunny · 25/11/2016 16:26

Just running in to say my leather ponte leggings have arrived, and oh my they are FABULOUS! Can't remember last time I was so excited about trousers, especially a pair from M&S. Total bargain with the 20% off too. Was filled with trepidation as I tried on the Modern Rarity ones which looked like a Modern Fright Show but these are ace, they fit like a glove.

Bought next year's anoraks for the children with the Boden 30% off code, but that's it.

Happy enjoy the bike show, haven't been for years (and it was the last time I was in leather trousers!)

Blair hope the heating is well on the way to being fixed. Love a good soak in the bath.

Sorry for no more, supposed to be cooking children's tea....

Larastheme · 25/11/2016 18:46

stokey mine keeps changing her mind every day and her list is growing by the minute! She first wanted an American doll, which luckily dh bought on his last trip to the US, now she wants Lego just cause her brother wants one, she saw yesterday a tartan coat at le bone marche while we were trying on some clothes and asked for it along with cat appliqué Mary Janes Confused,

I want to share this gift, dh bought the babar pjs and book set and the julia child one,< seriously didnt realise there is a julia child children's book ,the story is fab BTW, and dd is very happy with both, > i think the story and pjs duo is a great Xmas gift idea ,don't know if its stocked in the uk,but I think it can easily be achieved?

happy I wanted to get a saint laurent boots but my size was sold out before I managed to checkout.

Black Friday is not very big here, the only promotional email I was excited about is biondini ,which sells chloe and GV shoes, so I might check if anything is good,

Larastheme · 25/11/2016 18:51

Will I look like I'm a member of ABBA wearing these ?

maradesbois · 25/11/2016 18:52

Happy Friday Voguettes,

Happy wow, you are all about the YSL bags! Love the burgundy with ghw (think it was?)

Stokey my lovely nanny bought ds a ukulele for ds this summer 'to take on holiday'! It didn't make it into the easy jet 20kgs but he loves it. She got it in the sue ryder shop, they sell new stuff, its just the job for little fingers.

Dh just sent me a pic live from Goyard, bag will soon be on its way home to me. Will post a pic tomorrow. Out tonight in east london with uni friends, am wearing new equipment camo shirt with mih skinnies, black heel ankle boots and my hermes wrap bracelet round my neck like a choker. Shocked that a Hoxton g&t is £15 though!!

Got this lego train in a black friday deal on amazon for £65, down from £100 plus a 1920s-style headband for me for a christmas party.

The way Shop describes makeup makes me think am missing out on something and want to experiment, have noted down all these names to check out in space nk. Makeup and skin stuff has never been my thing but skin has been awful the past few weeks, have upped my glycolic peels to 30% to try and sort it out.

Amber hope you get the house, am obsessed with London property and commuting distances so checked out your area, very well connected! Cannot wait until we are ready to buy, already have my curtain fabric picked out at liberty!

maradesbois · 25/11/2016 18:56

Yes, just a bit lara!

Also got a navy wool peacoat for ds at rachel riley. Didn't get anything from jcrew in the end as the prices here and lack of discount codes is too annoying.

Blair fingers crossed all goes to plan with the heating, 17 degrees is baltic, you've got used to the cold!

libertydoddle · 25/11/2016 19:09

Got very busy and wasn't able to log back into outnet until just now but luckily managed to order this skirt Fingers crossed it fits.

Mara your outfit this evening sounds great. My skin always goes to pot with dryness this time of year, all the extremes of cold air and central heating. Facial oils are good. I'm using a rosehip oil from Trilogy atm and its very good. And my legs just go totally scaly - not a good look.

Lara all I'm going to say is 'did you hear the drums Fernando? Grin.

Drywhitethanks · 25/11/2016 20:17

Came v close to having a Bridget Jones fancy dress fashion disaster.....invited to 80s party tomorrow. Ordered a "I love the 80s" t shirt, pink rara skirt, matching leg warmers and lace gloves and an equally hideous fushia lippy just my shade Grin DH mullet wig, "Frankie says no!" T shirt.....all ready.......and have discovered it's not fancy dress Grin thank god.....can you imagine what we'd have looked like with no one else in fancy dress Grin...........tempted to have a few before and go in FD for a laugh anyway.

Other fashion news.....I came home it's freezing out tonight and all I could think of was snuggling into a pair of elasticated waisted , jersey tracky bottoms Shock......it's a slippery slope isn't it?

But, wait.....actually my Nike wide legged black yoga pants, Stan smiths, cheap H and M grey marl sweatshirt and charcoal wool/cashmere looks quite cool if it wasn't for the vpl

And, no, I haven't been on the Wine
