Rushing in with make up news. I visited my local SpaceNK today who are amazing. I'm beginning to worry that I go there too often as they offered me champagne at 11am Anyway. My normal daytime make up has been Laura Mercier tinited moisturiser and under eye concealer but recently i've noticed it is just not cutting it. I've been recommended Hourglass hyaluronic skin tint and Hourglass ambient lighting powder. Bloomin amazing stuff. More ££ (always the way) than LM but really good and still looks fab 6 hours later. Have come away with a Christmas wish list which includes Hourglass luminous flush blush (even better than Nars Orgasm IMO) and Becca under eye bright.

ive been sorting things to go int he appropriate christmas sack and omg, theres so much. i have been sticking to lists for everyone though so i havent bought any surprises but when its all out ready to be sorted, it just seems so much! still a few bits to buy but nothing major, mostly stocking stuff really so im almost there and then begins the wrapping marathon!

I will be unlikely to buy anything new until after christmas now as DP and I have a rule that we don't buy ourselves anything but essentials until after christmas so we don't accidentally buy ourselves things the other has got for us. it works or us

Yes One! I feel like I've been grumpy for the last week and a half and now there's light at the end of the tunnel! The cowboy plumber finally admitted to us that we would have to get someone else - with hindsight I think he was hoping we'd take the hint. Our regular plumber (very good and nice guy, hence very busy) recommended someone else, who came tonight. Dh recognised him and turned out his brother is a client of his, a director of the estate agents we rented our last flat from. Anyway he is really nice and it turns out the boiler needs a fan not a circuit board. He is fixing it on Friday! I'm so happy!

Ooh shop I have the Becca under eye brightening corrector - is that the same one? It's really good!

Larastheme I didn't think they did either, I've been on their mailing list for ages and have never received a code, but I also haven't shopped with them for a few years either! Everything got just a little more expensive than NAP, Matches or even boutiques, maybe the exchange rate. Thanks

Don't over do it One!

I am feeling better, the pain isn't constantly excruciating but hurts when I move around (as advised) and OMG crutches are hard work! I am a bit worried that my hands will get callouses when I am finally up and around properly.

I fell out with myTheresa when they wanted me to fax them a copy of my passport when I tried to buy a Chloe bag. They have sent me codes since but I delete them all.

No fashion news, just popping in to say Hi. I scractched my faux fur itch last week & bought a leopard Pat Butcher-esque number, am quite happy with it but the DDs won't stop hugging me.

Anyone got their eye on Black Friday bargains? I got some Hatley PJs for the Dds on Prime half price but nothing for myself. I'm wondering if &OS will do a discount, I quite fancy some of their boots.

Not much S&B news here. I did a massive Uniqlo order last night for thermal underwear on special for myself & DS. He works outdoors a lot of the time & appreciates the annual Mum thermal surprise package.

I was in the very trendy Hackney noodle bar nextdoor to the fashion college today &a very fashionista chinese boy came in wearing a disco bag + a fantastic outfit with Amberesque fake fur. I felt totally underdressed in my parka & uggs. Def need to up my game.

PS also forgot to say, unless I've got a voucher or a code I don't buy much at this time of year because it really pisses me off when I see the item that I wasn't desperate to buy at major discount 2 days post xmas. Rant over

Dream I bought By Terry Touche Veloutee concealer, Laura Mercier Candleglow powder and Ren 1 minute facial - love them all and got an excellent goody bag for spending £100.

Boden top arrived today and is sadly going straight back. The material feels horrible, especially the sleeves. DH thought it was an order he did so opened it and DD spotted these PJ's which were supposed to be for her Christmas stocking She's happily skipping around in them atm. They are lovely!

Shop how does that under eye brightened compare to touch éclat ? I think it's good to change face base every now and then, I'm finding my skin changes a lot, needs different stuff.

Blingy when DS was on crutches we wrapped padded fabric round the handles and attached with duct tape, made it more comfortable, his hands did hurt without that. You could pimp them with some diamanté
