For those outside London, raincoats, brollies, and boots are essential today. It is pouring rain and doesn't look like it will stop anytime soon.

Hoping to see as many of you as possible later. I'm wearing my tan R&B Chelsea boots, dark brown opaques, navy moleskin Boden skirt, Gap merino tobacco jumper tucked in, olive scarf and all covered up with my Seasalt raincoat .

Outfit plans have all gone out the window in this weather. I'm wearing Navy Cos dress, black opaques & Pistols. I don't normally wear tights(they roll down under my fat belly so I'm trialling the knickes over tights tip that I read about on here!!!) All covered up my a very unstylish puffa coat.

Plus I'm also slightly hungover but determined to get to town early so I can browse Regent Street.

On train. Lousy lousy weather. Hair has gone wild. Wearing black R&B skinnies, check fronted Equipment sweater, Office Jagger boots, CdC grey coat and Mulberry black bag. I was planning on having a mooch about but may just hide in a cafe instead.

Got up an hour ago and our boiler is not working :( meant to be leaving in an hour...

Awful weather indeed. Have just packed my boys off for day out and am still in my dressing gown with coffee and Elle decoration Christmas edition. Don't know what to wear but will have to involve boots and trench.

Forgot to say Justa Viva and Stokey. Will miss seeing you today.

Why did I bother with a blow dry? Will have v flat hair with sticky out bits.

Have decided against blinding everyone by wearing all the new things at once, including two of the brightest things in my wardrobe now.

Lady in Waitrose just told me I looked very glamorous, so I've obviously pitched it right!

Glad I saw sense and dressed for the weather. I am also in the MNV wet weather uniform of trench and boots (accessorised with probably frizzy hair!)

why does everything go wrong at once? DH is out at appointments today and I'm trying to find a plumber who can come before Monday. No idea how much this will cost. Fingers crossed we can get someone this afternoon but I don't think I will make it today :( We had a roof leak the other week, sofa cushion went for repair yesterday, our bed is broken and now the boiler... it never rains but it pours.
