Lovely to see some of you tonight. Rose, I really enjoyed the play - such an achievement - hope you are as proud as you should be and deserve to be. It was moving and very funny - not an easy mixture. Thank you for inviting me.

I was woken in the night by either ringing in my ears or the heating making strange whistling noises. I hope it was the latter. Feeling a bit out of it as a result.

I have done some last minute feverish shopping for the festival/fast tomorrow. I am very behind and am sitting in costa now arseing on the internet. I just need sometime out but I have the usual cooking burden. Bum.

I am being faced with a lot of silence today. Silence re my course, which I've now sent to lot of friends, school offices and our local MP's newsletter, and silence re the job. On the plus side, a man came to look at our oven, which at four years old barely functions. No light, incredibly noisy fan, droopy drawer and very half-hearted attitude to heating. On the down side, I should really have cleaned it.

Yes, just update your status....actually its more for the cast so they get the boost of positive feedback and then casting agents get to see it. It works if you tag me... at not a dry seat.... looking at the relative age of a good proportion of the audience, I'm not surprised....

Feeling mildly guilty that us crepeys bagsied all the best seats in the house at Rose's reading, relegating her husband and family to distinctly second-rate places.

And isn't it strange, this 'knowing people on the internet' business. I felt like I know Mr Rose and the Buds really well, and wanted to rush up and say hello!

Lalsy I feel one slide with the word 'Brexit' on it probably covers it.....

Maybe just one slide, with 'Brexit... discuss'. Then leave the room. Then come back, and put up a picture of Donald Trump. Then hand out gin.

I have a friend who had to do a similar thing the day after the vote.... she shoved one more slide in her deck and said 'well it's going to have an effect, but who knows what'.....

Dp suggested i have a slide saying 'Brexit' and I say what does it mean? And the following slide says 'Brexit' I am not sure its a joking matter through....

I now have this image of a group of Crepeys pushing the Rosebag Family out of the way to get to the best seats, in a "Do you know who I am?" sort of way. And Mr R muttering "Who are all of these dreadful women?"

Flying home tomorrow night and looking forward to getting back to normal life. Two weeks has been a bit long...

Rudy and Beachy's dog tips and BD's updates are making me feel very emotional for some reason... probably because I wish I could train DH's black dog for him

Can't believe it's four years' since Herbs's kitchen re-do. Our oven is similarly hobbled. The hob itself is fine but the grill has always smelled weird although it could be a cleaning issue

WAF :( so sorry re DH. - the black dog is a bummer....

We did laugh though. REALLY loudly. I also cried at one point. And Wilbur came!

Rose, that sounds like the bug - DP asked suspiciously if she had any lessons she was trying to avoid but as it was German and she likes German I'm convinced it's genuine! WAF and Monty beware, they're all felled by it.

I am going insane already. I have palpitations and shaking hands from the stress of being around DM qMum hasn't sat down since 7am. She won't even stop for a cup of tea. Up all night writing manic lists.
I am so xhausted and have run away to bar for caffeine. Apparently we've to clear the cellar when if I come back. I want to cry. She is manic. Clickety clack up and down. Never stops. Moving a thing endlessly from a-b with no discernable order. Randomly wrapping things in newspaper.
How am I going to survive another 3days?
