I don't have any designer shoes though have a mixture of prices - I guess with more expensive they are normally leather lined and soled so they will mould to your foot and be very comfortable even if snug to begin with. And then you can resole when necessary. I would imagine that the comfort / well made factor does not increase in line with price. So a £100 pair might be a lot better made than a £30 pair but I don't think you are seeing the same increase in standards by paying £500 if that makes sense. Happy to be corrected on that though.
On that note I like the lowalnds / highlands love in! Blingy and Amber they are definitely both your style, I think Dry and possibly Shop could also work them.
Dry sounds like you had a fun time at the wedding, especially with DH on fire on the dance floor!
Marsha a lot of those are reeeally high, esp the first lot you linked. Not a question you have to answer but how do you get to work? Would you be swapping once you got there - I think a lot of those suede beauties would be ruined by a trip on the tube. Ever practical, me
I really like those Nicholas Kirkwood loafers Lib linked, and the cobalt boots Shop linked. I like the gold Lanvin for what it's worth - but they are very 'on trend', so I think they would look dated really soon.
Mara is your ghost dress for the black tie do? Looks fab on - very feminine cut and great colour. Your plans for gold sandals and statement earrings sound good too. FWIW I like your style and always admire your OOTD - casual but always sound v polished and put together. I am getting a bit sick of skinnies too and trying not to buy them.
Are you getting used to your shorter hair? I think you would suit some curl - something like this maybe? or this?
Dream glad you are having a good time, looks lovely where you are!
