You could so do that dress shop.

Grin at 2 bags per week Blingy.

Mara Kate looks fabulous in our dress. Will have another dress trawl for you bring a bit more budget conscious this time. Have you had a look in TKMaxx? You found your DVF maxi there didn't you?

You'd look amazing on that dress Shop

I do think people notice shoes more than bags unless they're bag people. I quite like a pair of slightly wacky shoes to finish off an outfit.

Shame you haven't got much wear out of your white Stans Mara. I've worn mine quite a bit but mainly with jeans, midi skirt or cropped flares. I'm favouring my black ones a bit more now that opaques are coming back.

libertydoddle · 27/09/2016 21:52

Have added some dresses to the Black tie board for Mara.

Am watching Jonathan Ross - Davina McCall looked amazing in her white dress. Would love to know where it was from. Any ideas?

Drywhitethanks · 27/09/2016 22:27

"No winter coat"?

QueenC you are naughty, love those red shoes.

Mara love burgundy.

Ok.....knee length, above but no shorter.
I like sleeveless or 3/4 sleeves.
I like a round/slash neck...nothing plunging no boobs
Has to go in at the waist.
Pencil or flows skirt.
I love blues, greens, teals, berry colours.....
Budget up to £300 I guess.

Voila...you have 2 months....

AmberNectarine · 27/09/2016 22:46

What is all this nonsense about two pairs of shoes/bags?? I don't think I have just two of anything! Oh no, I lie, I only have two tulle skirts.

maradesbois · 27/09/2016 23:03

HappyGirlNow · 28/09/2016 14:01

Oh not two bags but I do love shoes too have FAR too many although I don't spend as much money on them per item..

Yes lib I think the advice re winter coats may well be more suited to those in the Sunny South. In fact topically, I just got [[https://www.thenorthface.co.uk/shop/en-gb/tnf-gb/women%26-39%3Bs-metropolis-parka-ii-2TAN?variationId=H2G this down coat]] the other day.. Thought it might be wise as I'll be spending part of the winter with the back off my house and also no longer able to kick the dogs out the back to pee as no secure garden as fences will need removed. So plenty of cold and wet dog walking Hmm It's actually very flattering! Grin

HappyGirlNow · 28/09/2016 14:02

Got the coat in black tho it links to the blue.. Ethical down which is v important!

HappyGirlNow · 28/09/2016 20:47

Oh no, I've killed threads before, but surely not MNV Grin

I sent leopard print biker jacket back to Zara (just felt it might look a bit cheap on - maybe if I was younger..) but ordered this jacket hope it's nice..

HappyGirlNow · 28/09/2016 20:48

Ps does anyone else have a real issue trying to spell leapord leopard??

libertydoddle · 28/09/2016 20:52

That does look cosy happy. I'm from north west Ireland so am always drawn to warm coats.

On way home after some post work drinks. Wearing Me&Em orange dress, Zara tan jacket, Clark's gold ballet flats and leopard print scarf with orange trim.

OP posts:
libertydoddle · 28/09/2016 20:55

Cross post happy. Love that jacket. I really want a leopard print jacket. I can spell leopard but really struggle with Jaeger jaegar

OP posts:
maradesbois · 28/09/2016 21:08

Happy Grin don't think it was you so much as my ghost dresses that killed the thread Wink. They are on the way so will soon know if a huge mistake.

Am so cross, thought I had a job/project lined up for next week, was promised it this morning so dashed to Zara to buy suitable work trousers plus organised childcare only to get an email from the people along lines of sorry crossed wires not happening, grr. Will keep the trousers for interview outfit though to wear with navy Marant jacket.

While in Zara also tried this shirt which I loved but left as 85% polyester and have the overspending guilts. On my way home saw a girl wearing it and she looked fab though.

Everyone love the teal coast dress you linked for dry.

Drywhitethanks · 28/09/2016 21:18

Thanks so much for the dresses Lib and everyone really love the red Catherine Deane from the Outnet but DD has a red dress and the Coast teal, v v me. Think I'll order and try.

MarshaBrady · 28/09/2016 21:21

Hello my lovelies, have disappeared into a work thing for a moment.

I just saw the other day that Hedi Slimane has left YSL? Now it's Anthony Vaccarello (had to look that spelling up). I'm sure he's great of course, but I loved YSL with HS.

Not that I can buy any of it, but I feel a bit put out he's left.

MarshaBrady · 28/09/2016 21:23

Bernice congrats on the new job! How exciting, must feel like a change, have you started?

Mara good luck for your job strategy, very exciting I know how tough it is and even more ridiculous from my side of things, crazy
